To start off our month long celebration of Valentiones we will be changing things up a bit. Next week we will be having our normal cabaret but with only love related performances to celebrate. The stage is open as always to anyone who wants to perform. We look forward to seeing you all next Tuesday.

A few updates. Firstly, thanks to everyone who has visited for our weekly cabaret night over the last month. Your support is appreciated. I honestly didn't expect for us to be this popular. Secondly, in the upcoming month we have some super exciting events in the works for Valentione's Day. Please look forward to it! We are still in need of staff. Courtesans, Performers and more beautiful Host and Hostesses are the roles we are primarily in need of but, of course, all other roles are still open. Lastly, we now have a masseuse on staff! Please feel free to drop by Menphina's Respite to make an appointment today!

When you edit the event you can click "Ranged or Recurring Event" and then pick "Weekly". I think I have it setup right on my gcal if you want to double check. I did that but it didn't work. I think I'll try re-making the event again.

"The Crows” is a role playing linkshell devoted to bringing together skilled adventurers and the like to help the common people of Eorzea and stop the growing corruption in the powers that rule Eorzea. The methods of helping the common man are varied, but some include; exposing corruption within Eorzea to the people; spying on key individuals and organisations who are in positions to abuse their power; assassination of such individuals when they are beyond the laws grasp and other tasks considered morally grey but are for the greater good of the people. “The Crows” linkshell will be in character for the members of the Crows to communicate however out of character chatter in brackets to plan potential role play is allowed as well. Ultimately, the goal is to bring together role players in need of role players who enjoy espionage type role play.

Basically rp for me has dried up of late and I'm looking for any Bounty Hunter work, especially based in Ishgard for my ex Garlean character Dominic Iskandi. I'm generally around after 6.30 p.m EST until super late/early since I'm based in Australia. I'm currently in a Free Company so I'm not looking for a new one. Yep. -Basically- an informal interview posted on tumblr with someone from the translation team is now an excuse for people to actively refuse to rp with people who use fantasia ic. Our fc gained three new members after they left another fc because of such rudeness. Until I see an official statement sanctioned by SE from someone who actually works for the lore development/story telling part of FFXIV saying fantasia doesn't exist in Eorzea I'm not going to have an issue with role players using fantasia IC.

I pretty much live and let live. It's the person's character not mine. Would I use fantasia ic myself? Nope. I acknowledge its existence because I know too many role players now who have used ic so when the lore out about it came waaayy too late to use such heavy retcon. They're having fun and I don't want to infringe on that. If it's a fantasia into a new character my characters act like it's a new person. That's the logical thing to do. I'm not really fond of fantasia abuse though and people who maks new toons or change their appearance majorly every second month.

Nocturnal Stance gives the same healing power as a WHM, but you're getting shields instead of a regen. Being now level 58, I don't like to compare AST to any of the other healers now as they pretty much have their own way of functioning. If you want to dps as an AST, learn how to effectively heal as one. Same goes with the other healers. I tried running MCH for 5 levels to get the feel of it, but I'm literally feeling like I'm doing absolutely nothing at all even after properly using the ammo system. It just feels...so slow and flimsy. Is this a real gun or a potato gun? I don't have any interest in dpsing. My priority goes healing -> buffing -> dps as should all good healers. Also I heal fine thanks, just not a lot of room to dps in the new dungeons compared to the old one's, especially in the vault. All good healers have to DPS. Not DPSing is a luxury you get in old content, but in my opinion good healers do current content, and in order to clear anything besides 4 man dungeons or old raids/primals, healers have to dps. You know what. I'm going to stop posting. I can't be bothered arguing with you guys. Have fun.

Definitely. As a veteran player whose played since 2.0 and leveled all classes to 50 between two toons it's helped me figure out what card to use on players. Getting feedback from my boyfriend who now mains Dark Knight has also helped me figure out how to effectively buff them to the best of my ability. I've also gotten feedback from other players about the buffs which has also helped me figure out how and when to place my buffs.

Now that I'm about four levels off maxing Astrologian, here's some thoughts so far on the class. Good points * The buffs are really good with the cards. I’m really enjoying the positive feedback I’m getting when I use them on players. * Aesthetically the spell casting is beautiful. * I’m really enjoying the class quests thus far and learning more about Sharlayan and Sharlayan Astrologacy. * The versatility to switch between Diurnal Sect (healing) and Nocturnal Sect(Barrier) depending on the other healer in the party is great. *All of the designs of the Astroglobes are amazing. Bad Points * The healing is Diurnal Sect isn’t as strong as WHM which means I often have to work a lot harder to keep people up and can’t dps. I don’t really mind but to some people in the community this is seen as a bad thing. * Still learning how to play the class most effectively. I’ve been reading threads on reddit about playing the class and so far I seem to be doing everything correctly but I still feel like there’s more to learn to be the best Astrologian I can be. * My dps is pretty average even in cleric stance. It makes doing MSQ hard sometimes when my boyfriend can’t accompany me on quests where I need to kill things. Overall I think Astrologian is a good healing and buffing class but I certainly wouldn’t suggest having two in major raids since they can’t be relied upon to have high heals or barriers with dps. Definitely more of a secondary healer then a primary one but they are still an asset to have in heavy, end game content. (Will edit with more thoughts as I head towards 60).
