White mage? Not as far as any lore I've read but you could always be a bit creative and bend lore a bit. Play a miko or some other far eastern themed healer with similar spell casting abilities as a conjurer? I don't see why there wouldn't be powerful (not necessary white mages) healers perhaps on the same scale as white mages? A lot of far eastern rpers bend lore or integrate current lore into something far eastern themed. With such limited lore in general, it's really not that unusual.

Watcher's Eye Black Market is in an open world location every third sunday of the month, 9 pm est. But as I always say to people with complaints about events- be the change you want to see! As for smaller events, I can vouch that advertising goes a long way into making an event successful. Advertising via discord, tumblr, rpc, using the balmung calender, collaborating with other fc's and even using pf and shout before and/or during an event all do wonders for increasing event attendance. Popping an event on the balmung calender or advertising it when it's on via pf isn't going to get a huge amount of attendance. Like real life, marketing and advertisement goes a long way into an event fetching large numbers.

I suspect people may be more spread out at different events since there is a such a variety now. To be plain, as much as I respect grindstone, most people have been to it so perhaps people are attending other events these days since there's a great variety. As for the quicksand, I've heard more complaints then usual about erp-ers sending them weird/random messages straight up looking for erp or asking odd questions straight up like (quote) "Are you into vore?". A great ooc conversation starter (sarcasm). Things like that have a tendency to deter people. I also agree with the sentiment people may be sticking to their fc/friends circles these days when it comes rp rather then venturing out. I also agree with the pre-patch lull. I know quite a few people playing other mmo's because eureka got boring quick or they did everything they wanted to within a few weeks. Even as a more casual pve player I've managed to get to 20 and make most of the artefact gear I want dyeable. I'm pretty confident once the next patch drops a lot of people will reappear. This isn't really anything out of ordinary.

Update Golden Fox Trade recently upgraded to a medium house in Shirogane. At the end of the month we'll be finishing our first fc plot involving a red kojin clan and retrieving some goods that previously belonged to a Garlean Officer located in Doma. We're continuing to sell our wares at public events like the Shirogane Shogatsu Festival as well as providing a tasty surprise treat at the upcoming Nomathon. With the influx of mercenary recruits, we've now assigned a captain of our mercenary forces, Relexano Delmandi who has came on board as a new officer. Our recruitment remains open. I can only speak for myself but as an event runner I don't use rpc a lot to advertise because I feel like advertisement using the balmungrpcalender and tumblr is enough. The RPC just doesn't seem like a resource many use anymore. I will admit if my events are feeling a bit low numbers wise I have in the past threw up an advertisement on rpc but otherwise I don't bother. When I talk to people in the community about where they see advertisements for events they mention seeing them advertised on discord or tumblr, not rpc generally. The voice I hear in the community on balmung is- "I avoid the rpc for x reason" which is kind of sad cause it's still a decent resource for networking.

That's just a miqo'te thing. Pure blood Garleans are like Nero and Cid. They mean the hyur looking characters with the gems or third eyes in the middle of their foreheads that come from Garlemald. When I've rped pure-blood Garleans I've gone with midlander hyurs with aryan designs with maxed out height but I've seen rpers use midlander or highlander models.

Update: Golden Fox spent their first month working between Eorzea and the Far East. Between working with Genko & Khokanchin, building up new alliances with other companies like the Mayusaki Syndicate and attending the Sea Breeze Bazaar, the staff at Golden Fox Trade have been very busy. However, behind the respectful business front, their main business is dealing in the black market, obtaining and distributing goods, wares and services of a more questionable nature. Areas of particular interest for Golden Trade include, fencing, racketeering, acquisition of rare goods, drugs and arms trafficking, information trading and smuggling. Unaffiliated with any clan or business, the Golden Fox functions as an independent and neutral trading company and crime group, seeking to expand its operations within Othard, and the West. Golden Fox Trade operates out of a quaint manor that functions as a shop front known as the Golden Fox Trade Emporium. Here both legal and illegal trade and services are sold, the shop supplying an array of exotic wares from the Far East along with under the counter black market items. Items of interest can also be sold or traded, with no questions asked. For the right price, acquisition and information services are also available to any buyers in need of discretion. Beneath the shop is a somnus den, open to clientele with such inclinations. The Golden Fox grounds remain neutral ground, open to all of criminal and non-criminal persuasions.
