In memory of all that Othard has lost in these recent years and the beginning of a new year and new hope, the Keeper’s Kiss will be holding a special Far Eastern Performance Showcase for Heavensturn. Performers both in house and from the wider community are invited to join Kiss for this special event to celebrate Far Eastern culture. The Keeper’s Kiss is currently seeking Far Eastern style performers to attend our Heaventurns Far Eastern Performance Showcase. From Doman Geisha to Xaela Shamans, any Othard style performer is encouraged to get in contact to share the various cultures throughout Othard for this special Heavensturn event. Monthly update: First off, thank you to everyone in the community who attended our events over the last month, especially our Spring Masquerade Ball. We continue to be humbled by the ongoing support of the balmung community and the popularity of our events. This month our events will be fairly low-key as we are focused on free company exclusive events to help brings us closer as well to encourage more in-house talent. Never fear though we will be continuing to have weekly events available to the public including our cabaret. We are now at fifty-three members but are hoping to continue to grow so we can continue bringing the public our popular events. The roles that continue to be in need are: Performers: While we have many excellent performers perform at our events, including our popular cabaret, we are looking for in-house performers to entertain at our company events. Any sort of performer is welcomed into the staff of Menphina's Respite. In return, we can offer the opportunity to perform on a weekly basis, payment for performing at private events and the chance to become part of a friendly, mature free company that's supportive of the balmung performance community. We've also recently started fortnightly rehearsals for in-house performers to come together, exchange advice and help each other be the best performers we can be in a supportive, nurturing environment. Host/Hostess: The Host/Hostess role continues to be essential in the everyday running of The Keeper's Kiss. Based on a combination of the western and eastern role of the Host/Hostess, they are often needed to entertain our random drop in's or attend to patrons during our events.Their duties include greeting patrons, serving drinks and generally interacting with patrons. This role does not include sexual services, such requests are to be passed onto Courtesans unless the host/hostess also works as a Courtesan. In need for event nights. Courtesans: Sexual services. Clients are taken and charged at the courtesans discretion. Strong preference for Courtesans to interact with patrons at event nights. General Staff: There are a number of possibilities for this generalised role including stylist, costume designer, Maid, masseur, chef or any other role that would fit in at a combined brothel-cabaret. [align=center][/align] [align=center]The Keeper’s Kiss Spring Masquerade Contest Details and Prize list![/align] As mentioned in our flier, and for those who do not know, the Masquerade Ball to be held on the 25th of March ( Lavender Beds, Ward 6, Amethyst Shallows) will contain two contests. Yes, you heard right! Two! A fashion competition and a Dancing competition! Best Dressed Competition (Start Time: 8:30 EDT) This one is very straight forward: Come to the ball in your best, most lovely and springtime themed gowns and suits. Strut your stuff and look your best for your choosy judges and you just might be the new owner of a very fashionable Wind Silk Coatee! There will be no sign ups for this event, you can simply show up to the ball and be prepared for the contest to begin at 8:30 sharp. We recommend you make sure you can be there at least 10 minutes earlier so you can guarantee a spot. Dancing Competition (Start Time: 9:30 EDT) Show of your dancing skills in our couples dancing competition! Take your sweetheart and race to sign up early; there are only 10 slots available and any slots that are not taken up by the beginning of the Masquerade are free game for anyone who signs up before 9 pm. The rules for the competition are simple: Sign up! The slots are first come first serve and we will update the list each night until the night of the ball. Send us an ask on Tumblr (http://keepers-kiss.tumblr.com/), post a response in our RPC thread or contact Ken’thal Tayuun or Y’sahra Khei and we will work to make sure everyone who we are contacted by first gets on the list. Prepare a dance! You and your partner will have 5 total emotes and no more; 1.2 minute is permitted for each post meaning you have a total of 6 minutes per performance. We encourage all of our performers to pre-write and prepare their performances as to keep time bloat on the low end. If you go over the 5 minute mark you may be disqualified. Win our fabulous prize!
