I agree with others about Discord being a bit of a forum killer nowadays. Even enjin forums kinda ran out of use because of it, and so this, except apparently for Balmung players? Somehow people seem to find Discord more handy and convenient, I myself agree with Kylin instead: I like structure, i like having different posts for different things, a search engine, something I can consult easily instead of having to scroll up the chat log. I like Discord as a chat, as it's meant to be, but I think outside of chatting forums are the most practical. In a forum, everything is stored, you can also find old lore discussions, in a chat everything gets lost in the void after a bit. Permanent vs instant. As an Omega player I can confirm it's the same as Mateus, there's a Discord server and all goes there. But it's kinda a limbo as FC/LS info are not complete there as they are not here. A lot of them just seem to have no interest in reaching out the bigger community outside of game to recruit perhaps? The events only get posted on the Discord instead. I honestly don't even know if new players know about this forum, even though google search still leads to it, or if they just don't care about forums.

Heya! You've already been answered about the LS and pointed to the discord, but for the rest: 2- Right now there's no "most populated hub" afaik. Most open world rp right now follows the Tavern Roulette, which is three times a week and every time in a different place. 3- Indeed, there are even FCs specilized in those things. For instance a criminal one, a merchant/trading one, a military one, an adventurers one etc. From what I've seen characters are of all kinda really. Hope to see you soon in game and on Discord!

Weeell they told us pretty much anything in the live letter. I obviously now forgot half of it, as I watched it live and never touched it again but They said already the new HM dungeons will be Halatali and Brayflox, I doubt there's others hidden. So no Sastasha. Musketeer doesn't seem so close, and I'd guess when it's coming out they'll make a big deal out of it, not just ninja it in at last minute. I think they said it will be in, yes. Also new beast tribes quests and many other things I forgot <.<

I think people are forgetting something here, unless I missed it.... Yoshi said some time ago that there's gonna be a system where jobs cross class to make a second job, and mentioned Red Mage as an example. I don't remember now what the cross job named exactly was. So, while certain classic jobs will be there, not necessarily they'll branch directly from a class. I imagine Red Mage, Blue Mage and similar others to be that way. As for Pugilist, I'm strongly for Dancer too, I could really see it being PUG+CNJ. And would totally play it. For Conjurer, I can see Geomancer, because I think the other option is gonna be dps and not another healer/support. If you think about it, the class questline is all about communing with nature and taking power from it, and a lot about using it also to attack and not only to heal. So restricting it to non-damage dealer roles would defeat that all a bit imho. As for GLA, DRK, etc I sadly know nothing about <.<

From what I understood it's not a slot, but rather an item fusion system. If it's like in some other games, you "sacrifice" an item to give its appearance to another. Sure if it was a slot it would be much better...but doesn't seem to be it.

As I wrote somewhere, once I was IC caught while being OOC and with that on (it was af2 but not much changes) and I was asked since when I was a white mage. I simply answered I never was and that was simply a costume I had someone sew for me. After all, magical proprities apart, it takes nothing to make a perfect copy of a dress, just think of all the fake chanel.... Clothes are clothes, they don't have to say what's your profession, never judge a book by its cover they say? And yes I'm so terribly jealous of npc clothing <.< Kan-E-Senna and Merlwyb have something wonderful and I can understand why we can't have anything similar, they're too important npcs. But all the common clothes we see around? I'm specifically looking at all female npcs with long skirt+bustier, so much jealousy....and many others. In many games I found myself looking at npc clothing and thinking how sometimes it's much better then what we're given. I also agree we're completely lacking on the department of skirts that aren't towel-size, or any kind of elegant clothes. And generally, hardly any casual/non-combat clothes. I'd rather they give us someting similar from events, rather then non usable in rp costumes.

I fully agree with this. Once I wanted to make a plot involving the Ixali, but then I realized how few I knew of them, and besides the informations that are also written here I could not find much over the internet. I really hope that you are right and tribe quests wil add more. As far as sylphs go they added nothing that makes me find them more interesting. I really have this feeling that in 1.0 the world was much more consistent, shame I haven't played it.

Sasamo was a Sultan not a Sultana. Here's a topic about him. Hehe, you sourced a topic which sources a post that I wrote before naming conventions were released. Sasamo Ul Samo is a female Dunesfolk name. That particular correction was made, however, there are still some mistakes in those posts they sourced because I wrote them all before 2.0. So it is Sultana Sasamo Ul Namo. ^^ Oh that's funny how things go Yes the name clearly indicated a female, I just thought it was one of the many unfitting names developpers made. Nice having a clarification.
