I was wondering about the pvp myself... since none of the countries are at war with each other (thank the gods), how are they shoehorning pvp into the game? Arenas?

I liked Gridania Survey Corps better... gives off a nice Attack on Titan vibe. Still like the idea... I'd totally before it if Tai was of a military bent.

Funny note on that... My best friend was doing that - Had left his character logged in while he was at work. He worked a 10 hour shift, and would periodically remote access into his computer at home to check if he was still logged in. He remained in and idle the entire shift. He gets home, moves to sit down and somehow manages to kick his power cord, yanking it from his tower. Logging off in such a fashion left his character logged in, which mean that when his computer was back on, he couldn't log in. Cause he already was. Karma? Oh to be a fly on the wall when he did that... I would fall off the wall from laughing so hard.

Unlikely: Your linkshell is it by chance named after Seven Samurai? The original or the anime? I love both, just curious.

Oh i agree, I was in love with the game in 1.0 flaws and irritations and all (still wish 2.0 was as wide and open as 1.0 was though). Anything I might say is just me blowing off some steam... I'm more than likely going to be buying 90 days as soon as I can.

Hopefully when I get home from work tomorrow, people will be happy and playing the game instead of nerdraging (hilarious reading on the official boards btw).

I've been thinking about it... considering that I play my ARR character more than my 1.0 characters I wouldn't mind jumping on one, my cousin and his wife play on the Japanese servers (they always do anyway), even in ff11 they played on the JP servers I think.

Most people are pissed because it seems like favouritism when the JP are able to play error free. Anyway, I sent a message, and no it wasn't a hate-filled troll message.

Cant even get the damn world list to update... SE has 15 days before I start actually paying for this game (and start getting pissed) to fix the servers.

Honestly I don't give a rats backside about reviews. All they are is some paid monkey's opinions; and they are as often as not, jaded and biased. As long as Yoshi-p doesnt get some hair-brained idea to dismantle the game and make A Realm Reborn Yet Again, the game will still be up and running because of the main audience (Asia). So even if the game tanks in the reviews and drops into negative numbers (has that ever happened?) it will still be there for us to play more than likely.

Know that feeling... I don't really want to play, but I would like to be able to login and fish or craft or something... which I guess, is technically playing. o3o

Maybe they bought something like an old u-store-it place in Canada, and that's why they put them there. Dusty and poorly lit, with some backdoor doctor's "office" in the next storage building, and a bunch of homeless drunks camped on the front lawn (which is all brown and rotten). lol

So they are upgrading the servers in Montreal (wtf why in Canada of all places?), so does that mean we will be going from a table full of used 486s to Windows ME?
