I didnt run into any luck. Everyone I asked about it on Gilgamesh thought I was talking about the guy that was trying to start an IC Moon-kitty harem. Taijha my main on Balmung is a Moon-kitty though, and I don't really have any interest in making another character on there... unless they offer character renames at some point, in which case, I'll remake my 1.0 character into a Keeper.

Let me first state that irl I am an Irish-scottish cracker with redhead roots; and I play dark-skinned characters because I love the skin tone, chocolate brown, sienna, dark gray (Taijha on Balmung).. pretty much every character I have ever made in the last 7 years has been a dark colour. So with that said, it tends to affect my characters ICly as well, though she won't go out of her way to not get involved with lighter skinned characters, but she does tend to like the dark ones better. As for actual interracial realtionships with my character (skin tone doesnt make you a different race if you're both human), K'anika was raised by pirates, so if theres any sort of inbred bias among Sunkeepers against interbreeding, she lacks it. Taijha on the otherhand prefers her own kind for mating matters, though she has no problem flirting and dallying with others for fun.

This is no claim to being exact, but I think they aren't on unfriendly terms.. and I can't see why they wouldnt be able to interbreed, they are both Miqotes... It's probably more down to personal preference and how hide-bound the Sunseeker is to tradition.

While I was playing K'anika last night (same character idea just different name and race), I had snippets of her past race through my imagination, scullery-maid aboard the pirate ship, healer for when there was wounded, and well able to defend herself with a bow, axe or blade; not proficient in any, but could definitely make someone into worm-food. Also had ideas about her being a goldsmith cause she like's making jewelry and stuff and can appraise gems and trinkets... perhaps even acting as a fence when needed. And while I'm on the subject of GS, anyone know what else they make besides earrings and glasses and other sorts of jewelry?

Would there be any interest in hijacking this idea for Gilgamesh? My character, K'anika randomly happened to be Hipparion (discovered this after I chose her name), and remembered seeing the thread about them. I wouldn't mind setting up the LS and stuff, if there's any interest.

Yeah I guess the healer part wouldn't really work... I still want to do the "raised by pirates" bit, just dunno... half a concept is such a pain to work with.

So I made Masikha over on Gilgamesh starting as a Marauder, but I think I am going to go with Paladin as her main class/job. But I don't really want to RP her as a Paladin or a Sultansworn, so I am wondering, what if any, has other folk RPed their advanced classes as? Like she could be a merc, or combat medic, or... I dunno. Just looking for ideas I guess.

I have two characters on Gilgamesh (finally), Masikha Rosewood, a LimLom marauder, and Corriander Ander a Uldhan pugilist. Playing Masikha for the most part, and would love to be find employment for her in the bordello. Not sure what idea I have for her class-wise, but she was raised as an orphan by a pirate (she really doesnt know if she's an orphan or not though). So she does have "that sorta" experience, if you know what I mean. She has some medical experience, since she was often put to work patching up the crew of the ship she lived on, so perhaps she could side-job as a healer for the girls that work there when needed.

Yeah you will go to Limsa, then you will go back to Gridania, then you will go to Uldah, then you will go back to Gridania AGAIN. It's ridiculous how much you hop around in the story quest.

On Taijha, for the most part she runs around in the pantalettes (from weaving), boots, and a half-robe because it looks like a dress. Still love the straw hat with the flower, wish there was a higher-level version. When I ran tam-tara the first time I was wearing the level 15 gathering dress and didnt even realize it until we were almost done. My group was that awesome.

When I get home I shall make a twitter for this... I shall call it... minime! I mean @taijha... or someththing. Could be fun. :-)

Chu2 is hilariously fun and extremely sweet and romantic at the end. I loved every bit of it. Also check out Hyouka. The ending was a huge tease, but it was cute anyway, still hoping for a season 2. Devil is a Part-timer is fun and silly, definitely worth the watch. Love Lab, Nyarko-san (both seasons), Watamote (It's not my fault Im not popular), The Eccentric Family, and Sunday Without God are all exceptionally good anime to watch.
