You know, I had this thought the other day, but what if SE is trying to make the NA/EU side of the game fail for whatever reason? I'm not saying I believe this, or that I am suggesting that is what they are doing, it's just a thought that popped into my head the other night.

Taijha is from the Tayuun tribe/family/clan/whatever (Moonkeeper). But she lived in a very tiny homestead in the Shroud.

I've decided that Taijha's family home is going to be somewhere near the ocean in the Shroud (or if that's not possible, a really huge lake). It's gonna be really small, just her, her mom and her older sister, and a traveling merchant that stopped by every week to sell wares and trade, and rest... If someone wants to be from this little homestead it's fine with me. Surrounded by huge trees and wildflowers.

That has always bugged me in any game like that. Seriously... acknowledge me for what I am.

I'll end up doing that, but i want to pick an area somewhere in the Shroud that I like. But her home will just be as small as yours. And yeah, the ingame zones were way bigger than they are now. It's one of the things I miss about 1.0.

That's what I figured... Does your family homestead have a location on the map? I've always believed that the in-game part of a zone was only a fraction of how big the area would really be. Like that small homestead in the north shroud would be much bigger and have several farms in it.

I tend to like to make my characters being from outlying villages and hamlets (even if they are offscreen), instead of being a city-kid. But I don't know where all the villages are in the Shroud. and per medieval times most tiny villages were spread out with homes being miles between. Taijha, my Moonkeeper grew up in the Shroud, somewhere. But I dunno where... so has anyone used one of the villages in the Shroud that is actually a village and not an outpost? Or did you make up a village name and have it be offscreen somewhere in the Shroud?

When they had the original music (the woman singing) playing during the trailer I had shivers and such an adrenaline rush. lol I would like to know where this symbol for the Shroud is, because I would like to have Taijha being one of the people there praying during the battle (she was too young to be in the battle itself).

Progress! I've gone from the 1017 error to the "cant update character jp group" or whatever it says. ...I'm Irish-Scottish, we've made looking for silver linings an artform.

If this was their first launch of the game, I think that would be a fair statement, but they already had their practice run with 1.0

Hell I cant even get the world selection to show up so I could make a character on the JP servers (if i wanted to that is)... instead I just get constant "world is full" 1017 errors. >.>

I walk around town a lot, and sometimes out in the woods. I love logging out in the inn room. but Taijha hasn't finished the 10 story quest yet (servers went down just after she dinged 10 and I Logged out).

No. How is this remotely his fault? This isn't even his division. I do not think Yoshida needs to apologize to -that- extent for anyone. An apology? Sure. Except we've gotten those. But -that- kind of thing? You're asking for a lot for something he has no control over. It's most likely not his fault (I'm pretty sure its not at all), but he is the head hancho of this game, it's not like he sold publishing rights to NCSoft or something. And I wasn't asking for anything, I was asking a question out of curiosity.

That WOULD be nice and all but I would also settle if he made a post afterward everything is fix fix giving a general apology to us. I think a post would be ok, but going the extra step and making a short apology video and hearing him say it would be better... even if he doesn't bow; but I think he would any cause bowing and apologizing is in-grained in Japanese people.

So... out of curiosity, would anyone like to see a video of Yoshi-p bowing and apologizing for this mess, after it's actually fixed (finally)? I'm not angry or raging about not being able to play... I know someday I'll get to play. As long as it's actually fixed, then it'll be fine. But I think showing a bit of Japanese-style humbleness would smooth over some of ruffled nerd-ragers... maybe. lol

I'm starting to think maybe this is true. lol Considering only the JP servers are up... either that or they got a bunch of hapless interns taking care of the servers.

I like names that flow nicely, I dislike names that have hard stops between the first and surname. Like yours... if the last name was Sagnus (too close to Sagnuts though lol), It would sound nice to me. K'jahi Sygnus would be my suggestion.
