I'm just going to echo this and a lot of the sentiment already stated. I think it's wonderful to fundraise for your FC house but the method could have used some work. While possibly encouraging 5% more people, it's probably inviting 20% more griefers or those who would definitely take this more than "just RP" I can sort of understand your mindset about why putting RL information helps make it inclusive but I don't think it's truly been thought out. In my mind, it brings very little benefit and brings you a lot more trouble than that benefit is worth. It puts more burden on your FC mates than necessary. I hope it all works well, but any type of griefer or harasser won't care about the rules and by the time you need to do the reporting it's just that much time you could have spent with others while raising money. Neither of the threads (here or SE's) require you to do any login or whatnot to read any of the RL gender information that is apparently freely given. People won't need to use it just to grief during this event, some people may use this to troll afterwards, etc. If one incident didn't happen I'd be very surprised, but I do hope you won't get any.

I think I've seen almost everyone in here around Quicksand at one point or another ! I've definitely seen you around, but Kage's afraid he'd get his butt kicked around. Maybe one day a Lalafell annoyance may be in order if you want it.

I've always in the long term planned on getting the AF2 chest piece because of the better stats but it was also a sort of question of whether or not I'd go for it first. I had decided that if I saw a Crimson Hat I'd need it... but it never showed up and Crimson Vest did. So I got the Crimson Vest and bought the AF2 hat to make up for it previously still being a Warlock's Hat. At this point I'm ilvl76. I don't have many of the cross class skills. How detrimental is that?

I'll probably throw the money that I had thought to throw into the MegaMan board game into this. I usually back ~$100+ on these things but the lack of physicals saddens me just a tiny bit. Throwing in $80 tonight. On another note: The Playdek / Matsuno thing must have really hurt the kickstarter. They've been blitzing information from him the last few updates. At first I was hesitant because he's not actually directing but he is, it seems, very involved.

My friend wasn't able to HQ mine and we threw a Savage Aim IV and Quicktongue IV onto it to "sort of" make up for it. We all just decided that I'd go for the CT body and myth robe. I don't mind getting the myth robe, as everyone says it IS one of the better alternatives to the Allagan tunic of casting. (It's just really ugly in my opinion and it'll take me just about 2 more weeks to get it). Acheron dropped the crimson vest on Sunday. 4 days after I already took my loot

To be honest, I'll be watching the videos soon after I make a few CT runs... But all day while I was at work the words "what in the world is allagan rot anyway?" swirled in my head. I pretty much joined in during the time my friends were wondering if Enrage method would be considered an exploit or not. (I have a vague idea of what it means from my friends and what people have posted).

I don't know who the real lead is in it. Either our FC leader or one of my friends... I tried to avoid the DL because its a cowl that woukd take up the hat and the chest. I'm really hoping a crimson vest pops up on me tonight

I think the only stuff I would worry about now are my hat and the NQ vanya robe. I hope to swap out the robe or hat tonight from CT. I really want the vest I know as DPS I'm pretty much the large overflow so no worries. :3 Thanks for the consideration. I know myself I really would prefer to at least run things I'm unfamiliar with with friends. I essentially ran everything at least once with one friend this entire game to get familiar with it.

Why do you think this? Have you asked them if you can join them, even just swapping in with a person for the first couple turns? Friends shouldn't have an issue with bringing someone new along. You've got the gear and you have the motivation; the latter is all you really need (though the former helps). When I mentioned in FC chat that I had unlocked Coil and was going to try to start learning T1-2 I made an assumption based on what a couple replied.. Essentially that I should get better geared. Some of my IRL friends seem amiable about it (one of them directly saying he would try to help but he's essentially taken up one of the roles so they may not want him to help me so he can keep working with the static.. Another mentioned seeing if I could try learning with their FC learning party but I get home at least over an hour past their time). The rest is my own insecurity.

Thanks for your response! I'd definitely be interested in getting advice and help if I haven't gotten it yet. Unfortunately I'm usually with friends Friday nights PST (usually back to playing ~10pm PST) since as you mentioned working makes things hard on weekdays. I've checked one BiS guide that basically means getting allagan drops or getting the myth set which would take me awhile. I currently only have the hero's ring of casting and the ultima band of casting. It looks like based on your rec of getting gear from T4-5 myth equivalent I'd try for belt, earrings and choker piece.

I really hope it's not a case of use the look of an item that must be destroyed. I really love the reindeer look sometimes so somedays I just want to be a BLM destroyed things as a reindeer. Or I don't particularly like the appearance of the BLM myth chest piece. I much prefer the Crimson Vest (QQ I take shoes that dropped all the time during last week and my first run on sunday had caster gloves, pants AND VEST) or the allagan tunic of casting. Then again if I can get the tunic I wouldn't wear the crimson vest... but I much prefer the crimson vest over the myth robe. I wonder how it would work in PVP. I don't think examining would be good because it takes time to do that when you can otherwise be smashing a player into oblivion dealing damage. I assume they would disable it...?

I'm now an ilvl72 or ilvl73 BLM and I have just unlocked Coil this weekend. I cleared Titan Hm with an FC mate during the week when he was in a farming group and last night I finished Ultima HM. I've found Ultima HM to be much easier to deal with than the HM primals... I'm curious about what I can do to start learning Coil. My friends/FC mates pretty much are one static group barring 1-2 people that aren't fully there. I don't think I'd ever get to go in with my friends since they outgear me and are well-versed already with T1-3/4. I'm afraid I'd hold them back as well, either from skill or under-geared. What are some advice you may have for a BLM for T1-2 as well as how I could start learning it. I have thought about a learning party, but everyone seems to just be in statics and want their clears. Should I just wait for 2.2 when Coil should be much easier to re-run (with CT loot system I think it was implied)? To be honest I still feel a little worried because there were some posts that said that the walk up actions/decisions should be allowed/followed because the beginning interactions were allowed (ie allowing them to become a part of the RP,etc) so they essentially opened themselves to any of the actions brought up by a walk up. What happens when you are happy with and fine with the initial interactions but half-way through the actions take a turn that does not jive well with the characters/plot? Break the pace immediately to OOC hash it out?

Based on previous posts... I tried to do the Attack on Titan thing. I don't think it worked so well I guess I should feel like I'm looking at 5-7m Titans instead when I see Elezen And this was fun times I had in Revenant's Toll. We just decided to sit around and others just joined in. The true story of how Ultima fell. Watching cutscenes (in the inn or otherwise) with kupo sounds is sorta amusing

I still need to go to Slater's >_> I was actually told by the manager at The Counter that the way to eat the burger I had made/ordered was to push down on the bun and slice it in half with a knife. (Then hope that when you eat it that you don't dislocate your jaw). Hehe. Lalafells, or at least me, just want to have a good time. Best way I know how to do it with people is over food and games. (No really, only way I know to hang out and have fun with people. Eat. Game. Eat. Eat. Eat. Eat. Games.) On the outside perimeter of angelo's pizza is a sorta big crust but you get to the toppings part and you just think "oh I have this for the crust" Most of my friends and I tend to start using forks and knives if we want to look "civilized". If not, it's a pizza eat it with your hands!! I didn't go to the KH event in Anaheim because it was on Sunday and I like to reserve Sundays for relax and prep for the work week days. I remember hearing that the line was long, hours before the event started. How early do you think people should get to this Exhibit? ((I'd totally be up for meeting up IC and RP ! I'm still accomplishing endgame things so sometimes I may have to cut it off. I just need to get some confidence to RP with people pffft))

You are either referencing another log (which I haven't seen) or you did not click on that link. It's just a copy paste of text which, as far as I can tell, has the names of two characters edited out and replaced. There's no screenshot there. While I do think the log wasn't particulary pertinent to the overall discussion (because it's an IC retelling of the event and not the event itself), I see it as a "This is what happened" more than a "And (Someone Else) was to blame for all of this!". It is important to know the specifics of the situation and how everyone acted to learn anything from it. If you have no details, how can you induct from it and come to a conclusion? Though, again, what happened seemed clear enough before, so I can understand why you'd think Natalie is trying to place blame instead of just be as clear as possible about the whole thing. I can see the name, replied to, in character.. :tonberry: Not to derail this more into a blame type of situation but I see 3 names who are in this thread and not the one whose privacy would be most "affected" by such a log? Unless I missed it or you are saying that the pastebin was edited.

On that note, when do you pop Manaward? Same thing or much better with the rotation memorized for tumult?
