You may want to define what you mean by this because arguably many people will say that Dungeon gear are incredibly simple to acquire because all it takes is running dungeons and that crafted gear is more difficult because of price. However Edgar's point is that the gear image you posted with "The Vault" underneath is not from The Vault. Adamantite Armor Sets (Fending+Maiming), Chimerical Felt Cyclas (Striking, Aiming, Scouting, Chimerical Felt Robe (Healing+Casting) Purchased by Heavensward Vendors NQ (Idyllshire, Matoya's Cave), Sidequests HQ, Crafted LVL 58. They are ilvl 145 Weird. I got the coat in the vault. anyway its a placeholder for now The gear sets are available in the very same time frame, just that the Vault comes 1 level earlier. You most likely confused the appearance or when you got it. As I mentioned above, the gear is also given through quests.

That's it! That's her power. That's what she brings to the Scions, magic pushup bras. It all makes sense now. Well, she's got the Echo. But hopefully, I don't really have to care if we find Minfilia!!!111111 Eh, honestly no big deal to me. I expected it. I saw on mogstation that it only listed a few parts so I knew it wasn't going to be interchanged with other pieces.

Investigation and Handling of Known Issues Occurring After Patch 3.1 (Nov. 11) We sincerely apologize for several urgent issues that have been occurring since Patch 3.1 went live, such as becoming unable to summon retainers and issues with “The Diadem”. We would like to provide an update on the current situation regarding the investigation and handling of these urgent issues. [issues to be addressed in an emergency maintenance scheduled for Nov. 12, 2015] ・An issue wherein you will be unable to summon your retainer if you had queued and entered a duty with your retainer still summoned. * For players currently unable to summon their retainer, you will become able to summon them again after this fix is implemented. * For all players, please follow the preventative measures below until this issue has been addressed: - Refrain from summoning your retainer when queueing in the duty finder. - If you have already summoned your retainer when you get matched in the duty finder, please dismiss your retainer before entering the instance. ・A rare issue in “The Diadem” wherein the time limit may expire almost immediately upon entering. ・An issue in “The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard)” wherein players may be unable to progress. ・An issue wherein characters designated as a housemate may not be able to teleport to the house properly. ・An issue wherein field servers may crash under certain conditions. ・An issue with the Vanu Vanu Beast Tribe Quests wherein, when a player's reputation with the Vanu Vanu ranks up and additional bonus quests become available to the player, quests that have already been completed and cannot be accepted again on the same day become selected. ○Detailed Explanation Players are able to accept up to three Vanu Vanu Beast Tribe per day. When your reputation with the Vanu Vanu tribe ranks up, you will be able to accept additional daily quests beyond that three-per-day restriction as a bonus for ranking up. However, there is an issue wherein previously completed quests are included in the bonus quest candidate pool, and if one of the previously completed quests is selected by the system to be a bonus quest, it will not appear for the player. When this occurs, the number of quests that can be accepted per day will be reduced. To address this issue, we are making changes to the Vanu Vanu Beast Tribe Quests system so that only newly added quests will candidates for being bonus quests. With this, all players who have ranked up on the same day will be able to accept the same number of quests. Please note that bonus quests do not appear for players whose reputation with the Vanu Vanu is at ranks 7 and 8. * The 6 issues above are planned to be addressed in an emergency maintenance on Nov. 12, 2015. The specific time of this emergency maintenance will be mentioned at a later time. [issues Being Investigated] ・An issue in “The Diadem” wherein members of a pre-formed party may be unable to enter properly. * If this issue occurs, please attempt to re-enter the instance. * As a temporary countermeasure, please use your Company Workshop’s Flight Control Panel to change the next airship exploratory mission time from 20min to 5min on the ship which was used to enter “The Diadem”. This will be addressed in the Nov. 12, 2015 Emergency Maintenance. ・An issue in “The Diadem” wherein party leaders may not be able to enter properly when entering as an alliance. * Until this issue is resolved, we ask that you consider not entering as an alliance. ・An issue wherein instance servers may crash. ・An issue wherein the game client may crash during a boss fight in “Sohm Al”. (Mac Version only) * The dev team has already discovered what is causing these issues. Once we have verified that there are no problems with the fixes, we will implement them accordingly. We would like to sincerely apologize for all of the inconveniences that these issues are causing, and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

It would be nice but I don't recall an event set being dyable

I queued into Void Ark on my 3rd Job aka Monk. Someone in the Balmung RP community can attest to how horribad I am as a monk when undergeared and also COMPLETELY ASSFUCKING NEW. I ate the floor more times than a DRG! I actually liked the amount of travel and movement there was in Void Ark. Was really fun. Except for the whole I-am-Alliance-B's-token-dick-Monk-pulling-everything-before-people-can-mention-anything-about-the-mechanics. Edit: I was thinking, Thancred has one eye covered right? Say that Flow helped cause Y'shtola's blindness... imagine Flow took Y'shtola's -two- eyes but for Thancred it took one eye and his ability to manipulate aether well.

[19:35]Cait Sith: My tale begins long, long ago in the city of Mhach, which once stood in the lands of Yafaem. [19:35]Cait Sith: The sorcerers of Mhach were masters of destructive magicks, and they brought that terrible power to bear against Amdapor and Nym in the War of the Magi. [19:35]Cait Sith: The titanic forces they unleashed, however, took a heavy toll upon the land, ultimately resulting in a colossal flood that drowned the realm of Eorzea─a catastrophe which my master, High Voidmage Cessair, was wise enough to foresee. [19:35]Stacia: Wait, wait, wait... Colossal flood? Are you talkin' about the Sixth Umbral Calamity? [19:35]Cait Sith: Hmm, I suppose you would know it as such... Now, where was I? Ah, yes. When they learned of the fate that awaited them, the Mhachi magi began construction of a gargantuan vessel that would bear their people to the skies, and to safety. [19:35]Cait Sith: The operation of the Void Ark, as the ship came to be called, was entrusted to Cessair. Prior to that, of course, my master had been a prisoner in her own home, confined for her outspoken opposition to the war... [19:36]Utata: So the Ark was meant as a sanctuary? Then, how did it come to be so...um... I mean, what happened to all the people? And where did all the voidsent come from? [19:36]Cait Sith: By what power do you imagine such a massive craft remains aloft? The energy required to raise the Ark was siphoned from over a thousand otherworldly servants sealed within the vessel. [19:36]Cait Sith: Advances in Mhachi sorcery were made for one reason and one reason only: cataclysmic destructive power. And the swiftest─and most dangerous─method of acquiring that power was through the enslavement of voidsent entities. [19:36]Utata: So, the creatures on the derelict...they broke free from your master's control? [19:36]Cait Sith: At the very heart of the Ark, the voidmages had entombed a great ruler of the voidsent─Scathach, the Shadow Queen. [19:36]Cait Sith: But in order to control so potent a prisoner, a mage of adamant will was required. And being Mhach's preeminent sorcerer, Cessair was deemed best-qualified. Were it otherwise, my master might never have been released from her own imprisonment... [19:36]Cait Sith: Yet even with Cessair's peerless skill, the Shadow Queen could not long be subjugated. One after another, the lesser voidsent awoke, and ran rampant within the ship. [19:37]Cait Sith: In the end, Cessair and the fifty-three voidmages aboard the Ark sacrificed their own life energies to return the fiends to their coffins...leaving me, a lowly familiar, to watch over a derelict prison. [19:37]Leofard: If I remember me Umbral Eras right, the stuff you just described happened more'n fifteen hundred years past─which is a good while by anyone's measure. And since everythin' seems to have been quiet on board your boat 'til just recently, I'm thinkin' summat unusual must've happened to wake the inmates up. Am I warm? [19:37]Cait Sith: One day, a voidsent that had taken the shape of a bat flew into the ship. At first, it was little more than a nuisance that I brushed away, but the longer it remained on the Ark, the stronger it seemed to become... Eventually I could not contend with its power, and it began shattering seal after seal! [19:37]Cait Sith: ...You have faced this bat-winged fiend before!? It would seem, then, that the creature survived the encounter...and that he intends to celebrate his restoration by liberating his queen. [19:37]Leofard: Well, that explains that, then─'cept for one small detail, namely, where the Queen's Coffin went. After it fell out of the ship's belly...I'm assumin' it didn't just disappear, right? [19:38]Cait Sith: You recall the great rift that the Ark's cannon ripped in the sky? That was a voidgate. [19:38]Cait Sith: Such a portal opens a temporary path through the void, allowing the ship to travel almost instantaneously from one location to another. The voidsent, as you saw, only opened a gate large enough to displace the Coffin. As for the Coffin's destination, however...that is as much a mystery to me as it is to you. [19:38]Cait Sith: I beseech you, conquerors of the Ark: help me find the Queen's Coffin ere the wards binding Scathach are dispelled!

He was a child when he went to the Studium - only 11 years old - and apparently very socially awkward. It would seem that Krile has many, many stories of embarrassing things Alphinaud did while he was at the Studium. Edited to Add: This is sort of like having your mother or your aunt show up when you're with your cool friends, knowing all that they know about you, up to and including embarrassing baby pictures. I couldn't tell if it was joking nature or if she had a different 'sinister' motive in mind. I wrote that part in the beginning when I didn't read her other NPC dialogue. But oh gosh that eye side glance looked downright evil in the beginning.
-
They could technically be an eikons-type by the Ascians.
-
I wonder what is up between Krile and Alphinaud. Alphinaud equated the 'blessing of Light' to the Echo. Krile states "Our order [students of Baldesion?] is devoted to uncovering the mysteries of Hydaelyn and interpreting Her will particularly through the study of Her gift to us." It was only through her 'blessing of Light' [OR THE ECHO] that saved Krile from getting boomed like the rest of the Students of Baldesion and the Isle of Val. Krile on the Echo and Crystals of Light [16:19]Y'shtola: Given that Alphinaud seems to recall the details of my return so vividly, I would rather he did not draw me from memory, talented or not. /dying Fuck you whmlala and your teleports. C-can I have Thancred's threads? Also, Hoary Boulder's brother, Ocher Boulder is at the Rising Stones! And uh, getting it on with a Highlander lady. I think she's a highlander [17:40]Ocher Boulder: Praise the Twelve, they found him! Riol found Hoary! [17:40]Ocher Boulder: He's in Thavnair looking after Miss F'lhaminn, it seems. Hah, imagine that! My brother, bodyguard to the Antecedent's mother! He sure has come a long way... [17:40]Aenor: You should've seen the way my man jumped for joy when he heard about his brother! [17:40]Aenor: By the by, you don't happen to know a reputable goldsmith, do you? I'm thinking of commissioning a pair of rings... [17:40]Clemence: Aenor, you cannot be serious! He must be three times your size! I mean, how would you even... Surely you haven't... [17:40]Clemence: No, no, don't tell me. I don't want to know. I don't want to know...

But... Kage... I just circled it? Ilsabard and Aldenard are connected by the landbridge in the northeastern region of Gyr Abania. The continent is north of Aldenard, and extends further north to the north pole than what we can see on map because lolcloud placement, but it also extends east to connect with the Far Eastern continent Othard, which I also circled. Think of it like Europe and Asia. I meant, by humoring the post by saying that Ilsabard is -just- north and Othard is to the east (and once again humoring how Othard is the landmass connected to Aldenard).
-
Issues came with this. Me: Both locations "Ilsabard being northeast of Aldenard" and Othard being the "easternmost continent" are taken from Gamerescape's pages http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Ilsabard and http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Othard. I see no reason not to believe that Ilsabard is being shown in the map as "The Garlean Empire" instead of Othard. Me: So if Ilsabard is -northwest- as this wiki editor claims, does this mean it is part of the New World continent to Aldenard's west as shown in the space map or is it not more likely that someone made a typo on the wiki you want to use? At this point, the only thing I can think of is that Ilsabard is completely -off- the maps we see.
-
Do you have any quest or other text log to reference ilsabard's location? Someone is wrong on the internet. >.> <.< Insisting that Othard is what is referenced as The Garlean Empire.
-
Here ya go: That... that just made my day!
-
We have this map (taken from bluegartr forums from the 3.0 cutscene) Some more maps Note that the large western continent has not been named, and is only considered the New World. Merlwyb and her crew find this (as mentioned in Over the Horizon in the Library). The old myth of Aldenard, Ilsabard and Othard does not mention this western continent. Aldenard, Ilsabard and Othard are named because they are the -biggest- and Aldenard is the smallest. Comparing the New World to Aldenard... perhaps Aldenard is not one of the biggest... Which landmass is Othard? We know it as the Far East. Most likely not -shown- yet...! I imagine Ilsabard encompasses the landmass known as The Garlean Empire but do we have actual in-game references to these locations? ((At the moment, GamerEscape says Ilsbard is to the northeast of Aldenard and http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Hydaelyn says Ilsabard is to the northwest. I'm more inclined to believe GamerEscape)) ((Intended to serve as resource / theory crafting thread. *lights up Sounsyy signal for some help*)) NEW MAP 2/20/2017

(taken from [REDACTED] My assumption is that now there are things growing.
-
Perhaps manipulating aether is a much more different beast than using it in combat. Teleporting requires a great amount of it and a great deal of concentration. Perhaps the use of aether in combat does not require finesse with aether manipulation or a great deal.
-
Anonymoose too is getting confused about the differences.

[Known Issue] - An issue wherein the client may crash during the boss fight in “Sohm Al”. (Mac Version only) [Known Issue] ・An issue wherein players may be unable to progress "The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard)".
