  1. I dunno... is that really Eva? Where's the bomb with a lit fuse in her hand? :-] (Its so cute!)
  2. Two more poster sets to go! I do hope people are enjoying these! Outtakes #7!! A Flame Sergeant in Limsa Lominsa! ~Clueless~ A Little Sunshine for the Grey Fleet! Before Gridania (an alternate for last week's poster! - but with a floating spear!) The Night Sky in Not So Forgotten Springs! Hunting Girl! [
  3. how much I love eyes! Very nice CC :-]
  4. The best worst LS hasn't changed!
  5. For anyone still waiting anxiously to get home to play Heavensward, a couple of posters to make the wait a little easier! Poster Set #3 Immortal Flames Maelstrom Twin Adders
  6. This post so much! Most of the "real" world of our MMO-world exists within our imagination. If one were to take the game space's layout literally, then the majority of Ul'dah's land area is the six and a half or so wards of the Goblet, but we know that can't be true. Taking the actual game world as a literal limitation on the setting is to miss out on the breadth and beauty of an MMO's world. I tend to spend a lot of time making up areas and places in Ul'dah, and that's a big part of why, I just imagine it as a mighty canvas upon which we can color with our imaginations, and provided our designs are in sync with the overall feel and sense of the place, we can contribute to the collective world of Eorzea.
  7. Nebbs is amazing about encouraging RP and general swell togetherness! And pulled off the best ever one-woman play I've seen in RP, evah!
  8. Junior reserve army corps. I took all four years in high school! Where's my cookie Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (the Highschool feeder branch of ROTC at colleges). I'd be curious how well Navy Junior Reserve Army Corps would go over :-]
  9. All sorts of trouble! (Some things never change!)
  10. More fun! Outtakes #6! BONUS QUEENIE Making of the Salute Poster!
  11. Generally speaking "classes" do a poor job of fully describing the limits of available professions, skills, and employment for characters. Since there are people who use guns, who use mechanics (we have trains of some sort in Thanalan don't we?) and magitechnology, the lack of a class that features these skills is not really considered a good reason for refusing to acknowledge the existence of those who do. The same goes for an almost infinite number of other areas both combat and non-combat. Races tend to be a much more exclusive quantity. Either a race exists, and is part of the world, or it doesn't, and isn't. Au Ra weren't. Now they will be. That's jarring. Someone going from being a gun-wielder in RP to also being a gun-wielder in PvE? That just doesn't matter, at least not to me
  12. My thought on the matter is pretty simple: it should accomplish whatever is necessary for the plot, and is agreed upon by the players involved. It shouldn't be used generally or unnecessarily because its one of those things that stretches plausibility and continuity. With regards to Au Ra... I suspect it shouldn't be looked upon as a "single day" event, rather although they'll all unveil themselves at once its more reasonable to understand it as something that has happened over a little bit of time. Once the first Au Ra showed themselves and people began to acclimate the rest rather quickly took off their disguises.
  13. With most WoD groups I'm just happy if they're actually tanked and not running around loose...
  14. Thank you so much C'kayah! It was such a fun project! Your help is so appreciated! :-D Please feel free to reply to the thread if you'd like! I know QueenFrejyalen was looking forward to hearing comments. Don't be afraid to post! More outtakes, including more Cutie Queenie!
  15. Poster Set #2 Immortal Flames Maelstrom Twin Adders
  16. Look for people here, check out LSes, and FCs and see if any are to your liking. Hang around RP hot spots in game, the Quick Sand, or whatnot. Look for posted events to attend! There's probably a bit of an RP lull right now as people ready for the expansion, but if you stick around as we head into Heavensward you should find opportunities!
  17. Aya knows where all of the underground parties are.. (or at least where they used to be!) The nobles can have the snooty fun to themselves.
  18. Yay! Good luck getting on to Balmung! Just in time for the excitement of the expansion :-] RP certainly adds another element to enjoyment of the game!
  19. People live in Ishgard. Its not some cliched city of utter grimdark tragedy. If there were no celebration or fun in the city it would be utterly unbelievable as a setting.
  20. Aya's definitely a non-combatant, and an Ishgardian. Where she ends up during Heavensward is still wide open though.
  21. I wonder if air ships could use flight attendants... a barmaid in the sky!
