  1. Alexander rides the Magitek reaper that he rebuilt from parts that he took from the many of Dogberry's raids on Garlean vessels. He is slowly retrofitting it with other modifications but those are often slow-going as his mind is often working on other projects.
  2. I used to work in an office on Charles Street. It's all a matter of timing and knowing where to park. Worst Case Scenario, Park and Ride on Eastern Boulevarde in Essex and take the 23 or the 40 quickbus. They'll put you within walking distance of the con. Or you could park anywhere along the Light Rail and take that in. Lots of options! If you don't mind the extra walk, you can also park at the Rusty Scupper over at the other end of the harbor past the Science Center. That is where I always park for Ravens games and the prices are pretty reasonable last I remember.
  3. It's practically our motto.
  4. I feel a Baltimore beer meet-up in the near future.
  5. Pratt Street Alehouse, so good.
  6. I'd go if they went back to offering day passes. Since I live 15 minutes from the city it was a nice way to spend a Saturday but I won't spend 70-80 bucks for one day. Still, might stop by the inner harbor to people watch.
  7. Music has a strange way of connecting to us at the weirdest moments. I buried a close family member over the weekend and this song had just kicked into its final chorus as I got into my car to leave the cemetery. This person was a wild spirit of a man, loud and could talk over a room but loved just as much as he was over the top. Listening to it made me realize that he'll always be with us. Stories about him will be told to our youngest generations who never got the chance to know him. He will always be with us, and so he's never going to truly be dead. X_IWlPHMziU
  8. Alexander would likely play the cello or the piano.
  9. Rhianna will be there again as before, so she will be available for heals as well.
  10. *rubs his hands together* Good. Good. It goes without saying I'll be there. The data isn't as good if I'm not there to collect it after all.
  11. It would be moments like those when I wish there were more dodge and block animations because I see this fight devolving into something out of a kung-fu movie if animated properly. Regardless, it must have been fun to partake in.
  12. I really enjoy Frontlines, especially as a black mage. The rewards are good (50 myth, 25 soldiery) and while everyone is out to win I see it as a nice break from whatever grind I'm doing at the time.
  13. I'm a weather geek. I served four years in the US Navy as a meteorologist and the only reason I didn't pursue it after was because I couldn't go back to school locally for it and try to start my civilian life at the same time.
  14. Alexander sat at his desk and basked in the light of his own achievement. It was the rare occasion that he stopped to recognize his talents but as he looked over the planned upgrades to Captain Dogberry's new legs, he couldn't help but revel in his own genius. Between Rhianna's surgical prowess and his magitek and aetheric knowledge, Captain Dogberry would not only walk again but might even be better then before. Lifting the plans back up, his mind began to already race with possibilities for this kind of technology. This technology, combined with his other project, could revolutionize warfare in favor of the city-states and push back the beastmen. Everything was starting to fall into place, which means he would have to finish the other project soon, or at least get it our of concept phase. He would need that allagan tech soon if he was going to capitalize on everything that was going to follow.
  15. Had such a great time last night. Lots of interesting people and story lines, and Stormwind is going to be so busy in the interim between Dogberry and the other plots he's been pulled into. Hope to see everyone around in the meantime but I can't wait until the next hunt. In the meantime, "Dr. Frankenstein" (as Dogberry as taken to affectionately calling me OOCly) has work to do.
  16. What is always playing through my head when I start popping DPS cooldowns in a big fight. SYcroAb12n8
  17. Alexander shook his head as he dropped another book on the desk, continuing to look through the books as Rhi delivered them. "No, I highly doubt it..." he paused, beginning to reconsider the thought. If he had dubbed the book otherwise inconsequential to his research but good reading material for Ceilia, it was entirely possible that he had sent it to Gridania with her. Alexander cringed at the idea of having to go to Gridania, it was too...green. He set the books in his hands down and looked in Rhiannas direction now. "...though I suppose it's not entirely impossible. If the book had any outward importance, it would have been here, close by. Instead, we are getting to the outer shelves. So yes, I suppose it could be in her possession." He glanced outside now, noting that it was still extremely early in the morning. "I'm not going to Gridania though." he muttered in an almost petulant voice.
  18. Moogles. Totally beating the hell out of moogles. Yeah. Twice. Moogle-boppers.
  19. *shifty eyes* Who does this? No one does this. I have no idea why someone would think such a thing would be a good story arc culminating in the creation of such things? *awkward pause* What are we talking about?
  20. I have a feeling Dhem is going to take issue with this. Good luck with that Dog. I'd suggest going to ground and coming up with a new alias.
  21. Primal hunting would greatly help Alexanders research, and fighting them on a consistent basis would allow him to develop a kind of baseline based on their power. Count him in.
  22. Alexander dropped the last book on his desk after a few minutes and shook his head "Not here..." he muttered. The vision in his mind was getting more and more fuzzy and he was against the idea of reliving the nightmare again if it could be avoided, at least for the time being. He turned around in the direction of Rhi's desk, where she had begun stacking books that matched the vague description he had given here. He walked over and began looking over them. All of them had some form or another of embossing, ranging from scuffed and dated, to newer and bright, and everywhere in between. As he lifts up another two books and examines them in his hands, he mutters under his breath. "Leave it to something of this level of importance to manage to hide itself in here. Probably in a book that has nothing to do with the allagans." He set the books down looking about the room. "It couldn't be in a book that I have been using. No. It had to be in one that I either have not gotten to or did not deem as being of use and simply set it to the side. I know where all the important books are after all."
