Hooray! We'd love to set up some RP with both of you! And to expand on Jali's post (since she beat me to it): we aren't exclusively looking for waitresses who will just ship food back and forth to tables. Some of the options that we're open to include Waitresses/Waiters - well, okay. Just because we're not ONLY looking for them doesn't mean that we aren't looking for them at all. If you're interested in quick paced, peppy, energetic RP or your character is just desperate for a job, the Chest could be a great stepping stone! Naturally, we'll even take disgruntled starving artists so long as they can fake a smile. Hosts/Hostesses - if you're less interested in serving but love creating a lively, fun atmosphere in a cozy tavern setting, this could be a spot on position. Hosts and hostesses have the responsibility of making everyone at the Chest feel like they're at home. Making conversation, suggesting games, and just generally being yourself are included in the job description! Promotions - this position is a little less day-to-day but it's like Jali said: our events are always in the work! We're always looking for people who are interested in planning and promoting on an in-character basis. Security - the Chest relies a lot on the more... ahem, rowdy branch of the Gold & Glory Hunter's Guild for their security currently but sometimes, our hunters are out hunting! If you're interested in seeing to it that our staff and our assets are safe and sound, we welcome you! And we're always flexible with anyone who wants to do something specific with their character! Just keep in mind that our motto is "equal parts sass and class." Emphasis on the class, though. The most bawdy thing about the Bountiful Chest is the name!

Whoops forgot I hadn't signed up for the forums until now Just popping in to say that we at HUNT are incredibly excited to host this event and we hope every one is just as excited to attend! The IC stuff will be just as extravagant as the OOC stuff, including detailed menus, posters, and even neat little tickets that might earn you something much nicer than coal if you hang on to it! Hey every one! I know this thread sort of went dormant for a little while but I wanted to update every one who was interested: I have, in fact, started commissions but because of overwhelming interest and support within my FC and amongst my close friends, I decided I would give them the opportunity to take the first slots so that they could be my test subjects. I'll post here again once I've opened things up to others (either next week or the week following), but I figured I'd at least share some of my progress on the current commissions I'm working on. We've got some lines (soon to be colored!) for an icon: Along with that, we've an initial sketch and some line work featuring Khyros and Netsu (yes, I am doing Au Ra commissions). This will eventually be a fully colored piece but this gives an idea of how things will look. I can also now give any one who is interested some verified pricing! If you're looking to commission me, the cute "chibi" style is: - Line Art - $10 - Flat Colors - $14 - Full Colors - $17 (If you're interested in multiple characters, pricing can be discussed depending on the number of characters. Hi, every one! Just your friendly neighborhood Kenthy here. This is a thread I'd been wanting making for a while and I finally worked up the nerve to do so, so here it goes! I've been considering the idea of doing some commissions. This isn't set in stone yet so think of this a vague prod for interest but I'm toying with the idea of offering some cutesy pieces as seen below. These include two sizes: a large size for all sorts of detail and prettiness as well as a smaller size that works incredibly well on sidebars, in signatures, and really wherever you decide you want to put it! Both with a nice transparent background to work anywhere and everywhere (unless specified otherwise). There is a possibility that I may also offer more detailed pieces (including pin ups and NSFW art) at a later date but I'm still undecided. I've also considered offering icons similar to my current icon, which I'll include here for the sake of redundancy. So please, please, please let me know if you may possibly be interested! I'm open to discussing things if you have a particular idea that you may like to explore. I'm still thoroughly undecided on pricing, though, so I apologize if I can't answer that question just yet. - Kenthy!

Okay, now that that's out of the way, my character is going to soon be in the process of planning a bachelorette party (or the Eorzean equivalent) for one of her friends/employees and I'm trying to get a feel for what some of our options might be! The group won't be too absurdly large. If I had to guess, it'd be between five and ten people. Ideally, I'm seeking an established tavern/club that specifically offers or can offer male entertainers. Yes, it's going to be that kind of bachelorette party. What we're not looking for is anything overtly R/X-rated; just something mildly risque and humorous. My aim is just to plan something silly and fun for every one involved to enjoy. Just wanted to say that I came a bit late but I had an absolute blast and Kenthy walked away winning the bet she made! I'll definitely be back with my company because there's more gil for my girl to make. Thanks for the great event! It was fantastic!

Sometimes I think that I should wear a rubber band around my wrist to snap whenever I forget Kenthy's ears/tails for too long. Sometimes I get caught up in other things and they just slip my mind... I guess what I'm saying is that there's too much but there's also not enough because leaving them out entirely means that you're leaving out important indicators for others to observe. I tend to focus more on her ears than her tail because her tail isn't necessarily as visible (and if you're staring at her tail, shame on you!). I also do like to give her some more feline descriptors when it comes to her voice: describing her tone as growling or hissing or things like that without actually having her growl or hiss at any one. Really though, I feel like choosing to totally ignore the Miqo'te feline attributes sort of strips away a lot of their charm. After all, these are unique features that do unique things! It's a lot of fun to add in a bit of personality into them!
