Wheeeee, I FINALLY got the beta invite... applied months ago to the first phases but ofc didn't get invite before the 3rd one where all old players got it, lol. But I finally got it installed today and just watched the opening movie and now playing with character creation ♥ My opening movie subtitles and sounds were so much ahead my video, so I am afraid I need to update my pc before the end of August...damn.. I don't have money for that! -__- But soon when I get character created I'll see better how well my pc can handle the current game... Wish me luck! And hope to see you all in game later this year! I don't know yet which server I'm going to now.

Yea I stumbled upon that discussion about week ago or so, I'm still to read all the replys. The dev team reply about the happenings is HERE, the post #226. I have it bookmarked but I still haven't got time to focus on that well (so long texts~), will read it later myself ^^

Hello and welcome! The game isn't available anywhere atm as far as I know. You need to wait till FFXIV: A Realm Reborn (aka 2.0) comes available. And I don't think it was ever "downloadable", I remember I gave my friend pass code to a friend in different country and he needed to find another friend who had the game so he could install it and play with me.

If you mean the discussion on the official forums, I didn't know about them until last night. Never had seen anyone comment the jumping, so I did. What's SFX?

Yes it would be cool if our chars just start without a server and we get to pick at first login which server we wish to play them.

I know this is like old topic, but any new info about this from SE? I'm gonna be playing on atleast 2 servers, but I'm not 100% sure which ones. Kinda depends on some other players. I've been kinda wondering about that whole transfer stuff. I don't mind leveling everything up again but I want to keep some other stuff my character gained...I want to keep my goobbue!

Oh and that damn channel is the reason I've been so quiet in the forums lately. As I literally spent hours and hours in past week to watch all those episodes which are usually 30-60 mins per episode. So many many hours! I'm gonna try and lurk more around here again. *shifty eyes*

I don't know if this has been on these forums yet, (because I've been gone so long and kinda hard to use search tool with such common words), so you are of course welcome to delete this post and direct me to the old one if I double post. I found these videos less than week ago and already watched all 73 episodes. I personally wish I would have find them like year ago already. I really liked to watch them because they remind me of the times when I was total noob in the game too, and how things have change. Though I wish he had level abit faster so I could have seen the end game with him too. It's basically this guy that makes a new character and records his gameplay while commenting things with his awesome voice. Some of his reactions to things are quite funny, and some just make me facepalm to the fact how noob he is...hehe. But I did like watching them ^^ In later episodes he starts a linkshell with couple players he met (ep46) and things get alot more interesting when he interviews and talks to other players in voice chat. I actually started to like these players and the last video (ep73) actually got me crying because they were all waiting the end of the world together and after the servers went down they said goodbyes. Ah, that drawing of Aysun is awesome too <3 And the newer sexeh pic of E'iri I already commented in gallery, luv! ^^ I'm so jealous of you how you can draw whole bodies, in complicated poses. My drawings usually only have like head and shoulders, heh. Love your skill! Think you need to give more details on how you'd like the pic to be *nodnod* Many others mentioned wanting to be on list but the ones mentioned in it seem to be only the ones that gave more info. And it said in the list "Mostly for my own reference", as you can see the links in the names go to our descriptions. So it probably isn't the only list, just the ones with info to use as reference. Maybe others will still be listed too when Eiri has the time and info needed :approve:

My most active time drawing was like 10 years ago (~02-05), that's when I really started to draw alot (daily) and actually started to LEARN to draw, because I did draw A LOT! But then stuff happened in my life and I haven't feel inspired to draw in years now. So I don't finish many drawings/paintings anymore. >_< This means I can't take requests, even if I would want to. EDIT: ok been months and I didn't get much more drawings done to post here. But I did get my inspiration back, just not in form of drawings. I started whole new crafty hobby. Now I want certificate too! o_O Indeed, I really miss it all and can't wait to be able to play again....even that I'll feel like total noob and someone has to hold my hand and teach me everything again. :3

I know I'm not the only one, even that I sometimes feel like it. Especially with FFXIV when practically everyone I talked to after the launch were british, american or canadian... But yea, I don't know how much things has change since then, maybe we have more scandinavian players and others? (I know some OOC people are but not RPers) Not that it matters where everyone is from, anyone could feel like this, even if they use english daily. .... Ok I wrote much longer reply but then thought it would start to sound too much like ranting. Even the opening post didn't mean to be that long but it just grew and grew and took me forever to finish (while getting distracted in other windows). I just feel restless tonight, and bored :bounce:

Ah right, the collector's edition. I have the thermos (thought it's just some metallic jar, haha), the map and the notebook with art <3 Haven't use any of those...they're safely in the box still. But my puppy left teethmarks to the corner of the box and it's not perfect anymore! :cry:

Shortly said, I think I still need to learn more english...after all these years! [spoil]This isn't like *whine* "Why can't you all write/speak in my language?" Because I actually prefer using english with my online gaming friends, even if they are from same country as me and know finnish. It would only confuse me more talking two languages in same game. To the point...: Some of you write in the way that actually makes me struggle sometimes while reading, especially when it's long wall of text (chatting is easier). But I think it's those of you that have english as first (and maybe only) language. I'm used to play (WoW) with people from EU, mostly like dutch and danish people (well ok, some from UK) who usually write simple like me. Can't actually explain how it feels different. But I start to wonder if RPing with some of you guys would make me struggle. I mean I understand like 99% without problem, but it's just exhausting and 'heavy' to read sometimes If you know what I mean... Sometimes I understand every word but still kinda fail to understand what was the point, what did the writer mean with those words, ...and when it's forum I would feel silly to write reply just to ask about it (like I would in chat) ...frustrating! Aaanyways... I just wanted to say that feel free to poke me if you see me make some major mistakes repeatedly or you can't understand what I mean with my writing (OR if it seems I'm the one that doesn't understand). Both here on forums or in-game (when we can play again). I have lost some 'friends' in the past because of misunderstandings.... There is always gonna be mistakes like "you should have use C instead of S" (and sometimes Z?) and I -usually- know when/how they should be used but can forget it especially when RPing (because I need to think and write faster then). So mistakes like that you don't have to poke me with all the time, as long as YOU know what I mean with my words. I wonder how many of you would get bored of me if I poked you privately during RP, making sure I understood some words and such...... I mean would that be exhausting on your part to RP with me then? Maybe I worry too much, hehe. I rarely need to ask anyways. I just wanted to warn you of that possibility. *nodnod*[/spoil] Ah, I feel much better now...I think. I think I'll keep Almil as she is but she'll kinda be new character. This is because I never really got to RP her properly and most of those that she had any connections don't play anymore... And I can't remember much of her 'old' life anyways or who she met or what she did with them. So if you remember RPing with Almil, please forget who she is and that you have met her.... or something :roll:

She's adorable~ Do you want me to draw her in the same gear as the screenshots? I don't care what kinda clothes she has, but they are usually black or dark. Maybe a vest. Those screenshots were taken in her underwear just because I needed to see her whole body. I made miniature Almil out of clay ^^ (though its not good enough and I need to try again)
