Holy crap do I have to issue my next challenge sooner than I thought? You guys are breezing through!

One thing led to another last night. Oscare had a generally serious conversation with Jancis about the goods she spoke of earlier. However, something was very clearly amiss within Oscare. He chomped on his own lip during the conversation -- an involuntary action. It looked like someone closed his mouth for him, as his teeth made unpleasant contact with his lips and bled. He was healed fine enough, but Oscare started slurring his words. Stammering. Spouting nonsense, and his attention span started fading in and out again. A habit he thought that he grew out of since he joined the Astral Agents. But it reappeared again. He found an excuse to slip out of the conversation with Jancis and bolted into his room, collapsing onto his knees. Panting, he looks up. "AVERSA! DAMN YOU!" "What was that?" Oscare's shouts were silenced by a feminine voice from the pitch-black corner of the room. "Damn me? Oh, you shouldn't have~." She mocks, walking up to Oscare laying her sharpened nails on his forehead. Freezing up again, Oscare goes quiet and collapses. His breathing stopped. "I just wanted to let you know, Oscare dear. I always win."

ALRIGHT KIDDIES. We hit our deadline, now it's time to announce who go who! Above, you'll see a quote to one of my earlier posts with the name of everyone who confirmed and a number. I will use a Random Number Generator to generate two numbers. These two numbers will trade characters with each other, and write a short story (or long story, it doesn't matter! it can be as short or as long as you'd like) from that character's point of view. However. You CAN insert your own characters. Example; Let's say Natalie gets Verad. She has to write from VERAD'S point of view, but she can still include Natalie in the story. This is to help writers feel more comfortable if they know their own character is involved. It also serves as a "resource", per say! None of the stories will be canon. Meaning that what you write won't actually happen to that character in-game. Besides that, go ballistic! Make it as silly as you want! Make it as serious as you want, there is no right-or-wrong with this! It's literally just for shits and giggles. Before I provide some basic prompts to help you guys get ideas, I'll announce who got who.~ Numbers 11 and 12 trade. Numbers 13 and 1 trade. Numbers 2 and 3 trade. Numbers 5 and 4 trade. Numbers 14 and 10 trade. Numbers 9 and 7 trade. Leaving 8 and 6 to trade! Feel free to shoot each other a PM or whisper for a basic lowdown of how the character works. Now, here's some prompts to get you guys started. You by NO MEANS need to use any of these prompts, this a freewrite! But this is for those who need a little idea~ Prompt 1: This is why we can't have nice things. Prompt 2: "Why is your hand on fire?" Prompt 3: I knew s/he was serious then. Prompt 4: A dance-off. Prompt 5: You wake up naked next to a wo/man in a room of the Hourglass. What now? Prompt 6: "NOW WE'RE STRANDED HERE, AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" Alright kiddies, GET TO WRITING. Isn't that part of the challenge?! You can always ask for a very barebones, basic profile like insight, or you can ask for a Wiki profile. Or.... You can wing it! The point of this is to see how well you can play someone who doesn't belong to you!

It's time to get your writing on, friends. That's what this thread is about. I issue a challenge to everyone, and see who can take it up. "But what's your first challenge, Oscare?!" STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM! Challenge 1 is Character Swap! For those who want to partake in my first challenge, simply post in this thread. Once we get nice amount (preferably even amount) of people, I will assign you all numbers. Using my little RNG friend, you all will exchange the charactet of your choice with that person... and write from that character's POV. I will provide some prompts (some silly) to give you ideas, but you can write about ANYTHING! As silly or serious as you want! Any questions? Ask away! (I will try to respond when I'm at a computer. I apologize for any typos, I'm writing from my phone. >_< Suggestions gladly taken!

If anyone's wondering the math for the leveling, look at this. Circlet (20) + Food(3) + Rested(50) + FC Action(10) = 83% for fresh characters. Let's add the armory bonus if you already had a level 30+ class. Circlet (20) + Food(3) + Rested(50) + Alt Class Bonus(50) + FC Action(10) = 133% bonus. Enjoy leveling, kids.

Actually, it would make sense if it's account-wide. You claim the reward through Moogle Mail, which is sent to every single one of your characters. If it were sent to every single character, that means you would be able to claim the reward on everyone. That also means leveling an alt character to 20 will be easier because of the circlet! ~~FRIENDS~~

This is an excellent question too that wasn't clarified. From the looks of it, I don't think it'll be account-wide. We won't know for sure until someone actually gets a hold of the mount.

There's literally no reason to make an alternative way to get this mount. For starters -- this will not be the only two-person mount available. There is obviously going to be more in the future, hopefully by 2.4 comes out. Who knows, maybe they'll even add one in 2.35 (which is looking slim, but we don't have any way of knowing for sure). Point being, there's going to be more chances to get more two-person mounts. Secondly, mounts are not the main transportation provided by this game. If this were say -- World of Warcraft -- then yes, it would be a way bigger deal. But this game isn't like that. This game flat out lets you teleport everywhere as long as you visited the area once (in which, if you played the main story, you /will/ visit every area besides Outer La Noscea, I believe). Mounts are good to get to areas that aren't close to the aetheryte of your chosen area, I will give you that. But they aren't extremely important, you're not crossing 4~7 zones on foot with the way this game is made to move about. I like to think that mounts are more like "trophies" and vanities of struggles or dedication (either from subscription bonuses, to maxing out rep with a beast tribe) to the game. I understand if you would like this mount for competition sake, but there is no reason to make an alternative method to get it. DISCLAIMER: 'You' is not targeted to anyone in this thread. It's a general term, I'm not making this post to attack anyone. I'm just clarifying a point. EDIT: Berrod makes a fair point as well. The reason for this is for people to have more of an incentive to bring their friends, not so much just for the bonuses. If you want to dish out the extra money due to your circumstances not allowing you to bring someone along, that's fine too! But that wasn't the goal of this.
