Yune

The fewer alts one has, the easier it is to manage, as many have already stated. I have 6 characters on Balmung atm and while they are all open for RP, I've found that more time has been spent on them just moving through content than meeting people. 3 are at lvl 60, with a 4th not too far behind now. As one might gather, I'm perfectly fine with alts, and I was one of those searching for contacts with the "here are my 5 characters, now choose" threads. Lol Aside a few personal reasons for promoting so many characters at one time, I had a lot of ideas and inspirations that took form over time, and I love having the option of who and what to play on any given day. Different personalities, different hopes and dreams, different potential. As Devil's Advocate to that though, be prepared for strangers who are incapable of understanding those visions and won't take you seriously as you may be a bad investment for their time. Don't stretch yourself too thin, but do what allows you to have fun in this game and enjoy the time you spend in it. While there may be a struggle to find people to experience multiple characters with, you'll find those eventually who want to participate with what you have to offer. Just don't get discouraged, and don't stop loving your alts when it seems like no one wants them. <3

I have a Raen from Othard as well whom I'm trying to figure out and would love connections as well, whether they are prior relations or acquaintances yet to be. She's not a warrior of any kind though, being the daughter of a magistrate and having spent most of her teenage years with her grandparents, a pharmacist and the proprietress of a small tea house. I plan to get a wiki up for her sometime in the near future when I have time, but if you're interested, feel free to shoot a PM my way.

I have a few characters that are open to some friendships, though I don't often frequent Ul'dah. I'm open to travel though with the right character (s) so maybe we can work something out. Also, I love running content with people, so if you ever need an extra body for quests and queues, I'd be more than happy to help out! I'm usually online with my main Yune Tabrisviel, but as my schedule has been a little wonky lately, it may be easier to hit me up through PM here so we can figure out some good times to meet up in game. >^.^<

I have a Keeper who resides in La Noscea at the moment, so it wouldn't be difficult for her to bump into him whenever she comes into the city. While she doesn't share the lifestyle, she may at least offer some interaction/conversation and perhaps eventually become a friendly contact in the area. Yune's WIP wiki is up if you want to know anything about her. As for Sharlayan interests, I do have a Sharlayan researcher that's also a slight WIP since I have yet to try her out in RP. She is an Au Ra who has been spending these past few months in the Dravania area for study, but I've been meaning to find ways to bring her further out onto Eorzean soil. You can catch me in game mostly on Yune Tabrisviel, though PM here might be easier to contact me if schedules conflict.

Your characters sound wonderful, and I wouldn't mind seeing them in action sometime. I may be able to find a connection or a plausinle meetup with Sarameda with my Rui character as she also has Ishgardian ties. Sadly, my wiki for her is blanked after lots of apprehension over her original concept awhile ago, but I would be more than happy to discuss the details with you if you're interested at all. She is a silent traveler (silent as in mute), is a little flighty or strange in the way that she doesn't always seem to be "all there", but she can be a real sweetheart and loyal friend. I'm also interested in some Au Ra connections, but both of mine are a little foreign to Eorzea at the moment, so I'm not certain quite yet how we could manage a meetup or ties to run with. I'm willing to try if you are though. >^.^<

I've felt this anxiety on many occasions as well. I wouldn't say I'm necessarily shy, but I'm a rather quiet and reserved individual who hasn't had much experience with reaching out to others or being the instigator of new friendships. This is part of the reason my FFXIV experience thus far has been about 80-90% solo play and no RP. It's been coupled with my current insecurity about rejoining the community after my long break as I don't really know anyone and have no close friends who may help. I'm an unknown with no reputation (that I know of) so my hesitation in putting myself out there often spawns from that nagging thought of "why would anyone be interested in someone like me with no track record?" But as I don't know effective ways to really get out there in the mix, I have that fear that I'll just be stuck in limbo forever. It also doesn't help my confidence when I do manage to meet people who actively seek me out at first, yet inevitably show me that they have no interest in me or my characters and would rather talk about themself and their own ideas all day while promptly changing the subject when I try to mention anything from my own side. I can understand being proud of one's creation or ideas, but from the perspective of the one who gets silenced repeatedly because of this pride, it flares up the crippling thought that perhaps I have simply nothing to offer anyone. I know that such things are entirely dependent on the types of people I come across, as not everyone is so self-centered, but my luck thus far hasn't helped me at all.

Might bump into Yune sometime since she's a Limsa girl~ While she may not share the lifestyle, I'm sure she might be able to contribute as either a target of pickpocketing or a source of friendly conversation at least. Drop me a line if interested, and I'll be on the lookout for you in game. >^.^

@arkamas All of your characters sound wonderful. And Maelstrom too! That makes chances of meeting Yune at least pretty high as she's a La Noscea girl and her father is employed with the Maelstrom as well. She's never really had any Roegadyn friends, and is very comfortable with Lalafell as her adopted family are Dunesfolk originally from Ul'dah. Aulsoix also seems very interesting, though I don't have any characters who function in the Thanalan area usually. Whenever he's out and about in other regions, be it for study or for teaching as you stated, perhaps he might run into Umeyae who I imagine is slowly exploring more and more of Eorzea after spending these past few months in Dravania due to the gradual restoration of Idyllshire. Rui has very old and vague ties to Ishgard itself, though she doesn't have much recollection of her homeland after certain events in her past. But familiar face perhaps? I'll be sure to check for your main, Fyrilsunn, whenever I'm online so we can chat a bit, though feel free to poke me with a PM here if you like. @Kibu Cam'nahl looks adorable. I would be happy to bump into him sometime whenever circumstances allow. I understand the importance of prioritizing one's mate and being caught in a nice romance. I'm also very open to Au Ra RP, as I would really like to figure out either Ranshe or Umeyae, and seeing other Au Ra characters in play might help me find some stable foundation to start with. As stated, I'll also have a male Au Ra soon enough once I can get the fantasia for it. Likely another Raen because I adore the white scales. Either way, if you ever need help getting through content, I'd be more than happy to assist if you need extra bodies for queue!

From what I can see of your Elezen in your avatar image, she's rather striking as well! Though I'm not sure what you mean by my Roe? lol I'm afraid I don't have one right at this moment, though believe me, I've tried to make one for the server to have that racial variety in my roster. Darn server restrictions. >_< I'll definitely look out for you whenever I'm online. Currently I'm leveling Rui, but I do not see you online. I shall try again later to find you. >^.^<

I'd be more than happy to bump into Aerlys sometime. If you don't mind a low level character going on adventures until I can get them through MSQ, I wouldn't mind trying to figure out Sceva through some RP. The concept I listed with her though is basically a backup plan I had, considering my original plan with her feels like it may be a little messy or unwanted due to potentially outlandish uses of Lore. Her original concept came about when I first started to play this game and only had a limited scope of the setting and its lore pertaining to the Void and such, but I would be more than happy to discuss said ideas sometime, especially to see if it's doable. Either concept for Sceva involves her possessing a wanderer's spirit, so she would remain the same in that regard.

lol, I'm still working on the wiki, so aside the background info, the other stuff there is pretty out-dated. Finding the time to rework everything has been difficult, but I'm making efforts little by little. Her likes/dislikes are a little different now, and she's not as much of a pacifist as she used to be after certain circumstances that I still need to detail in her background since my previous format skips from Teenage years straight to Present. I'll get some of the info in there updated, but as far as "Darkness" goes, it was meant to be fear of the dark. Sleeping with a light on was her type in the past. lol As for "difficult friendships", she's rather accustomed to those. >_>

This sounds like a great LS, so I'll look around for an invite when I can get online tomorrow evening CST. The new raid seems exciting, and while I'm not yet certain of availability, my main is a 60 WHM (Yune Tabrisviel) that can go if my schedule (and limited country internet) allows. But I just came back from a rather long hiatus, so I'm afraid I still need to grind the new tomes for gear. If I can manage to gear up two of my alts, I may be able to provide a BRD or SMN for the DPS too. Hope to catch you online soon! >^.^<
