Fellow Belgian here from the upper half of the country(Flanders). Unfortunately we're a rare breed when it comes rpg games and even more to roleplaying in such games. You're lucky that I decided to check the forum out. Although I admit that I always feel weird talking in dutch whenever I'm ingame. Many years of playing and roleplaying in an english environment caused this lol. But feel free to poke me if you happen to see me online and I'm not in some instance lol.

Simply correcting something here. Before any misunderstandings happen. You CAN solo queue for CT. And you're only able to create a pre-made party of max 8 people. So you can still queue up in smaller party numbers as well. However unlike the usal pre-made party. You're forced to create a party following the standard party setup of 2x Tank, 2x healer, 4x dps (if you have 8 people). I'm also assuming that we're able to queue as smaller groups like 1x tank, 1x dps and simply have the other slots filled by randoms.

What do you mean? Us elezens already have that sleeping pose...Oh wait I forgot to say MALE ELEZEN. Stupid S-E and their choice for male elezen emotes... I'm till this day still not happy about the sleeping and pose emote we got.

Some additional useful information - Silver rank will also give you 2 parcels - This event will appear again in februari for the US/EU release of the game. So for those that won't have the level to finish the event or have alts. You'll have a second chance to obtain the items.

Aw shucks, now you're making me blush. And I'm not secretly stalking this thread and saving all the lovely female Roegadyn pictures. Not at all! *whistles innocently and saves the latest Sio picture in his female roegadyn folder* Jokes aside, I usually like taking the more buff races. I would have gone with highlander if all their faces didn't look like rugged 40 year old men(manner of speaking and my own personal view). And male Roegadyns have some faces and hairstyle that I like but I don't like their body proportions. My ideal race that I would play hands down is the "Gon" race from the game Blade & Soul. And ironically it's the only mmorpg that hasn't been released to the western market. orz Oh well, I'm quite satisfied with my elezen. Although I'm still annoyed by the lack of muscle slider for male elezen.

I honestly would love to be able to do this as well. Still, this didn't stop me in FFXI. I simply used partitions to seperate spaces. And I'll most likely do the same thing in FFXIV lol. Placing lines of partitions and creating hallways and seperate rooms through this method. Creativity can go a long way . Still, a real wall would be better.

I haven't started to roleplay yet. I'm more focused on completing parts of the game and working on my crafts and gathering. The latter is also for roleplaying purposes. But I'm getting close to getting into the RP.

(Eg. Raised by hyur so does not understand X or Y = singular) (Tough question as I don’t really know what common lore entails. But I’m going with the assumption of raised in the woods and so on.) It’s complicated in Ron’s case. His old self had the prideful trait that wildwoods are known to have. But I’ll lean to answering this with no. He was raised in Ala Mhigo. Both parents were still elezen. And his mother used to be a noble. But Ronberku doesn’t act at all like most elezens. At least not most of the time. 3. What are your Rp limits, if any? (Eg: no permadeath, no ERp etc) I have very few limits. No permadeath, no godmodding. I’m open for everything else.

Titan(hard). Funny thing is this battle should honestly feel easier than garuda. Considering that everyone should focus on dodging instead of dpsing. (Until his heart pops up, then it's just a dps race to take it down)

I tend to love romance and everything it entails around it. Which includes the erp part. I’m not ashamed to say this. I used too though lol but I guess getting older made me just go “meh, better they know it now than finding out and go all *gasp*” However my biggest gripe with romance that I’ve had happen in past mmorpg’s are: - People deciding to instantly fall in love and create a relationship in less than a day. I want the romance and love to bloom IC like a well nurtured budding rose. - People not separating IC with RL. I even added this on my profile. But I always make a clear line for myself between the two. And usually feel awkward when I notice my partner crossing that line(happens all too often). Which usually leaves me with a mental state off “Great… How should I deal with this now… Let’s toss in some regular conversations topic…Nope that didn’t work at all.” - I tend to be quite detailed when roleplaying. This means the things that were written on that linked blog is the way I also roleplay. It almost felt like I was reading something I wrote myself. This off course means, long descriptions, which some people might not like ingame. Or I get a short /em line back as reply. That said, a well played romance can add so much to a roleplay experience. Even a short romantic encounter can be fun. Sometimes people have a crush, or the mood causes a short encounter to happen.

I'm always the type of person who will at least do everything until endgame. Before actually roleplaying. Mostly because I like collecting all the armors and clothes that Ron can wear during roleplays. And also to explore the world and know every hidden corner of the world. That I could perhaps use in my roleplaying. Like finding out that there are crates and other things you can /sit on without realising it. And mostly, I tend to roleplay when I did most there is to do in the game. In a sense it provides me that extra game content during those times.

Are there any FATEs that lead to the behemot one? And does it show on the map? I've been checking the coerthas map all the time for him to pop. Also, did he die?

I moved heaven and earth to obtain my BSM apron and I totally love it. And now for some scenery ones.

Very interesting idea and I love your initiative of looking for people to draw things outside of their usual comfort zone or out of the ordinary. I'll try to draw some things as well in my free time.

Wow, the new layout is so much better. Although I wonder how it will turn out in the long run when a lot more linkshells pop-up. Which most likely will. But that's an issue for the future. I also love the pretty server banners.

I'm definately looking forward to this. And I'm pretty sure it will just be random mouth flapping. But the same one we see in the npc animations. Even our current facial emotes are just basically the emotes we see in the cutscenes. So I doubt it will look awful as some people were worrying about. It will most likely be our mouth moving while our head lightly moves around (like when the npc talk to us).

Looking great!!! I love your elezen's and Abi's expression. Also I'll quote the words from my art teacher. "It doesn't matter what or how you draw it. Your own drawing style will always be reflected in it. Unless you carbon copy it from something else..." Drawing style is more than a way of how to draw a person(or anything for that matter), it goes as deep as how you draw a simple line. Basically, it's my own long-winded way of saying that I'm still seeing the same drawing style in both your drawings.
