Another pencil drawing. This time off Shippuu Nammuu. I just love how his lalafel looks like. Not to mention his personality. I'll definately be drawing him more, such an interesting character concept. I might end up inking it on pc but don't expect it. I just felt compelled to draw with pencil and paper. Also added the prior facial studies I did for the fun and to warm up. (I got lazy on drawing Bravura. Sorry about it lol)

I'm neutral about this. It doesn't really bother me but I'm not excited about it either. But honestly I hope this is a one time thing... I do know that it started because of the developer of FFXIII: lightning returns. And that it became more of a fun tribute thing between devs, so hopefully it's just this one time. But I'm sure as hell not going to wear and use any of it.

I'd like to correct this part. Might just be a simple overlook on your part while typing this long and awesome guide. Progress bar full & durability: 0 -> will make the craft succeed. They changed it in ARR. So you don't have to worry about an item breaking even when achieving completion on 0 durability.

I think someone heard things wrong and rearranged it. Current status: - You can create new characters on Balmung and new players can join it. They actually just made it available starting this weekend testing phase. - The 6 month thing was mentioned in another way. S-E mentioned that people on "LEGACY" servers will most likely only be able to transfer to "NON-LEGACY" servers(aka the new ones) after a period of 6 months. This is to allow the new servers to be untouched by the legacy players until they are at the same level.. In short, new players can always join Balmung unless the server is full.

I like the idea of an IC/OOC shop. I had something like that planned for Ron as well. Who actually might get the help of someone else for it(still in discussion). Although in my character’s case I had something else in mind. I was planning to turn Ronberku into a blacksmith who creates HQ weapons and armors for “free”. He will however only provide his service to those he deem worthy or interesting. Basically this could lead either in a conversation or he might send the person to prove his/her worth by doing/obtaining something. He’ll still have an assortment of regular stuff up for sale. Things he’d consider as failed creations. Off course, I actually need to see and find out how feasible this is. Because it depends on the difficulty of creating HQ weapons/armors and the material cost associated to it. But this is sort of my goal. That and I need to level some other crafts to fully realize this lol. Also he’ll most likely be vending and providing his service in Limsa Lominsa. I wonder how that will go considering everyone on Balmung didn’t get rid of their old habit of sticking around uldah…

You can count Ronberku in that. Perhaps we could also find some way to support the new crafters. I'd much rather provide them with materials and have them craft those low level weapons/gear. I don't want the high levelers to be stealing all of the spotlight after all.

AGGRO! I still haven't gotten over Shadow of the Colossus. Losing that horse hit me HARD. I'm planning on naming mine Cassius. Playing a character who's more or less a boxer, it's only natural I pay homage to The Greatest. You're the first person that instantly linked the name correctly to the horse of Shadow of the colossus O_O! Usually people think I took it from the term mob agro lol. And yeah that scene gave quite an impact. Simply because you basically travelled everywhere with the horse and a bond formed between the player and the horse.

Allow me to shed some light upon this topic and to prevent rumors to be exagerated. Thal Icebound(I think his forum username is Catapult) is a user on the lodestone forum who since the beginning of FFXIV 1.0 has provided the lore section of FFXIV with feedback and pointing out spelling errors inside the game. He's also the user who knows the FFXIV lore from top to bottom to the tiniest detail and the smallest hints. He's had a great connection with Fernehalwes and the lore section since the very beginning. So basically this can be taken as a small thank you gift from the lore section to Thal Icebound. The only person I could see mentioned ingame as well, would be another user by the name of Anonymoose. Who also has been an active helping hand for the lore section. Basically, I doubt that they will be picking random legacy names to be put ingame.
