Shortly: Yes, mostly with other players. Why: Because I made those decisions to let others be free and I didn't want bind them to my character. I have been usually selfless when making those calls, OR I was just really selfish ^^. After while I have realized I shouldn't have done it. But life continues, no matter what decisions you make.

RP romance... hmm.. They have been mostly crushes on Jerciex, but for him romance is spending time with someone, alone/together. It doesn't matter where as long you can just be alone with this person and do things together. Talking, caressing and being close. Day 1 After short rest on of the Quivers came to tell us about Garlean movement nearby. According to intel it was support group. Our leader decide that we will ambush them to disturb enemys' logistics and slow down enemy. Maybe force them retreat. That would be best for us. Some of the yellow serpents in group are really young. I hope they will be fine and they won't panic in combat. Leader decided that we will ambush Garlean Maintenance forces in two group, casters and archers from behind and ground team will strike from front. Days 0 It came nowhere.. suddenly one of the serpents came to my office in free company. I was writing my weekly report. They said I was needed for mission. They told me to take my combat gear, that made me realize it was serious. It would mean something is really wrong or something came up. We went to Gridania. At nest commander of yellow serpents was waiting me with ten other serpents, adventurers. I must respect these adventurers -risking their lifes for nation that might not be theirs. When I arrived, commander started briefing. He told Garleans has made move in east border and our group's mission was to go check situation and push away Garleans from our homeland. During brief my mind started wonder.. I couldn't focus on commander's briefing.. It was sudden and unreal. All I was thinking what have happened.. death of Mochi, broken promise and what Rhaq taught me.. I thought I get over them but this mission was dangerous and I thought it would be last... for me Then I remembered that I have solved all disagreements and conflicts. I will have to return home and keep my promise, to met someone again. Someone I have met only once and thinking like this. I really want meet her again. They told about enemy unit, infantry.. magitek armors. Was this enemy's new attempt to invade us? If so, I will do my best to protect our homeland, citizens of Gridania and my loved ones and brothers in arms. I am soldier in the end and this my duty. After briefing they gave us supplies and rations. Once we resupplied ourselves we started our march towards Eastern forest and border. It was mid-night and we used darkness to cover our movement. It was raining little bit oddly it felt good, purifying. Couple experienced Quivers went ahead scouting and we followed them. At morning we arrived to border and saw those damn steel fances and walls and decide to rest little bit. No sign of enemies, yet. Everything was fine so far. (Made this story to explain why Jerciex won't be around this weekend, since I not able to log in. I want login and RP, so this is my way to avoid withdraw symptoms)

More info about characters on bottom Our free company could offer RP-wise "live-in" work if interested, but be warned: people dont use house everyday but people have been hosting small gatherings there. Our fc is rp-wisely something where ppl get themselves work and uses house to relax/gather up/social meetings or when they need to contact someone.

I had Delni first, my character from 1.0. I started RPing with her and during time I wanted to make male character and start really serious RP. With Delni it wasn't possible. During my RP with Delni, I started to find Gridania even more likely place to be and I wanted to make 100% Gridanian character. It had to be Elezen or hyur and I chose Elezen. I always liked elezen behaviour and their... style. I found it more interesting that hyur and I wanted something that isn't close to human For Jerciex's profession, I wanted something that would allow me to engage random RP and talk to unknown people -> Made Serpent medic (soldier in Order of twin adders.) and now I when I wear uniform on Jerciex, I don't need any special reason to talk to people. I just go and ask "Enjoying your visit in Gridania?" "Is there something I can help you with?" Other reason I wanted to make for my character was to have connection between him and Carteneau. That way I could think many stories for Jerciex and use them in RP. I made him really complicated person, and maybe too complicated, but that is what I wanted too. It has helped me to engage different forms of RP.

Welcome! And I have to say you are making good choice, because in RP you can create your own stories and find yourself in interesting situations with other players. For me RP is reason I am still playing this game (and my Free company). If I don't RP, I get bored and frustrated with game. Don't stress about backstory! It is important but don't give up if you don't have amazing backstory! Most important thing is to have fun and enjoy RP. Some people are better writer and typers, sure. I would avoid comparing myself to others. Just do your thing and have fun! Maybe we meet in Eorzea! I would love to suggest Jerciex as this Elezen, but Jerciex hasn't been many times in Ul'dah, that might cause little conflict.. He has been in Ul'dah like few times (3-5times). BUUUUUUUT.. I might be willing to change Jerciex's history little bit about visits in Ul'dah little bit to support your idea. But I like how you are searching for special contacts like this ^^ So I hope you find what you are looking for.

I am sure people would be interested to hear stories like that. If you think, most of Eorzeans has never left their home nation, so they would interested to hear stories from other nations. Everyone has a dream visit something exotic places! Atleast Jerciex, who has been most of his life in Gridania, love to hear stories from other nations. Someone is telling him about doman areas and he finds it interesting (so do I).

Hi! Jerceix is Serpent medic, meaning soldier with first aid skill. He doesn't use magic for tending. He knows how to tend wound/injuries and other small illnesses, but he isn't doctor or healer. He can analyze what is wrong with someone and makes decision about situation. If it is something he can tend, he will and he is happy to this too - otherwise he advice person to someone who knows more (Jerciex knows two doctors and maybe conjurer too, have to confirm ^^) How this sounds to you? You think there is chance it might suit your needS?
