For Gen it depends on who and where he's fighting.. if he's in a bar brawl, he'll fight like a bar brawler, not all that much finesse, just throwing knees and elbows at the targets he'd wish unconciousness on. In a more serious fight, he lets his training take over. Which is most likely akin to monk techniques influenced by his mothers homebrew of martial arts (irl equivalent would be Kenpo, jiu jitsu and bajinquan among others) iscP8gase1Q

Pretty sure it's a mask. Maybe. That's what I thought at first, but apparently there's concept art of wolfpeople wholly furred going around. I'm guessing the thing in the coffin will be the final boss, and diablos will be boss 3 of that raid. But still, at first i was sort of "We're going where? this feels dissapointing after where we went last time" but.. It's grown on me, especially after looking at the interior parts, quite the interesting place.

It would not surprise me if Donnie Yen was a former padawan or something, given how I guess they wont waste his talent of beating people up hand to hand and look good while doing it. It just makes more sense to have a character like that to have some level of ability rather than "I'm just really good at not being where the people are shooting"

Gen has a .. complicated relationship with death, outwards he's trying to be a just, good man, an example for his company members and upholding laws and such. Behind the scenes, he's highly conflicted there's enemies out there threatening his co-workers, and even worse his family, and he has planned, and executed murders because he thought someone might be a threat in the future, rather than waited to make sure, also when his family has been threatened, he's killed even when his opponents have given up. Because no one touches his family. He does not like what he does, and he'll berate anyone for doing the same things. Partly because he thinks he's the only one who should have to shoulder such a responsibility, but also because he's dumb enough to believe that he's wise enough to be judge jury and executioner, and be good at it.
