[align=center][/align] I. Hoshichou & You Disclaimer: Many of us understand the lore and how it works to different levels. This character will, at no point ever, be designed to impose on your beliefs or your character. However, if you do not agree with the content found here or in roleplay, please do not come to me complaining. I have adhered to lore to the absolute best of my ability but my understanding may be different than yours. If you'd like to have a discussion based upon the content please message me privately. I cannot cater to your discomforts if I do not know about them. That all said, I've put a lot of time and effort into this character. I would appreciate if people respected creativity and did not steal her. Thank you. Purpose: Hoshichou has an assortment of varying abilities below. Her purpose (and the purpose of this post) is to provide your character with a multitude of creative outlets for you to push your plot-line further. She is meant to assist you and your story. That being said, I am not here at your 'beck and call'. If you are in need of her assistance I will request you get in touch with me so that I can schedule you in. If there is an emergency I would like to know ahead of time so that I can be online and available for it. If I don't know ahead of time, or we have not scheduled a meeting, I reserve the right to decline participating. Hoshichou still has her stories! II. The Divination Room Information: All information can be found here. V. Addendums Mistress of the Art: Hoshichou as quite talented in her arts. She has been learning since she was a small child. Furthermore, through roleplay, Hoshichou has been 'gifted' from her attunement. In a sense she has fully, 'ascended,' or 'fully aligned,' with her magic. However this gift came at a cost. Hoshichou is physically blind. She sees on a 'different' plane. She is able to see things that are celestially attuned (like objects) or otherwise deeply connected with fate. Her singular exception to this is she is able to see at night when both the stars are present and she stands within moonlight. Things that block the sky will prevent this (like weather).

As I've been a roleplayer for about ten years, I find that it remains my highest interest in an MMO community. With my experience, I am comfortable being a story writer (also known as dungeon master) for roleplays. However: please note that submitting your character to my story telling (or involving yourself long term with my character) may result in your character being subject to grimdark themes (such as they may include: language, substance abuse, violence, etc). Please inform me if this is not something you are interested in. Views on RP combat and injuries: I believe that combat requires communication. I *rarely roleplay using a roll system and due to that I often only get in combat situations with those I am comfortable with. I will not involve my character in gore without discussion and story purposes. I don't mind broken limbs, stab wounds, or other such 'extreme' injuries. Views on IC romance: This character is eternally bonded! The line between IC and OOC must never be crossed. I am especially picky when it comes to romantic partners and my character. The relationship must develop naturally and through long term plot-line. I need to trust you on an out of character level. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I would love these! This character's direct family is deceased. However, I'm sure that we can discuss something if you're interested. Furthermore, I'm always looking for friendships, clients, and otherwise fun times. Views on lore: I believe in sticking to the lore to the best of your ability. That doesn't mean that lore bending is unacceptable but things that blatantly lore break I will try to bypass. I agree with this as well. I've not been warned before but I'd like to make sure I'm not treading on things just incase. I usually don't post charged posts but I also want to make sure what is or what is not acceptable. I would also be in support of this!

I have a character who has been doing this since I've made her. Her soothsaying has been more private between the community I surround myself with. However, if people are looking to learn / want something done I'd be happy to offer her services, too. This is a character type I've played across many games including WoW and GW2, and tarot is something I've been doing in my real life for about. . . eleven (damn) years now. So yup! Cards aren't the only thing available. There's scrying, tea reading, etc~. -crawls back into her hole-

I feel like the conversation on sexual intercourse and size is ultimately just going to boil into a weird argument that no one wants. However, if you want to know about how genitals work you can use google. I mean, there's a lot of weird things in terms of sex out there (look at Barnacles). This is, again, one of those, "Decorate your sandbox how you please." Biology could be argued back and forth. I mean they're demon-human-people. So you can't even really compare them to lizards making humans your "easiest" default. But is this one of those topics that really needs to be elaborated on? Bedroom life is bedroom life, and it's not like we're going to be invited to the realm's suite.

Why do people keep thinking this? Ponos size is independent of height, and 95% of men fall under 7in anyway. And if we go with the non-human approach, Gorillas have 1in to them. Height and bulk don't influence that much at all. Edit: Seems I'm too slow tonight! I'm a little confused. How did I get quoted saying this? I'm not the one that said it. It was Kou? I don't support this belief at all.

And you are entitled to those suspicions and beliefs. One could argue that a baby was heard crying in the forest while a merchant travelled through. It was found to be an Xaela and it was taken to a village or otherwise. Where it became part of an orphanage, or even that merchant adopted it. There are all sort of outlets for what people want to do and how they want to do it. I stand by my comment of, "We can decorate our sandbox how we please," and we only have to play in the sandboxes of those whose decorations we like.

But we do know that they come from Othard, and Othard is part of the Garlean Empire. We also know that the Garleans aren't really nice people. So whether or not the Calamity hit them specifically doesn't equate to the fact they could have had their own struggles, wars, and strife with the Garleans. The treatment isn't rainbows and sunshine. We can see Ala Mhigo and Doma for that. The latter of which was razed to just make a point.

And I think this is okay. Some may see it as cliche, others may see it as creative, and some just won't care. People can decorate their sandbox as they please, so to speak. We can choose not to play in it. I know, but their lore is so rich! It is like someone is stabbing me in the stomach every time I hear those sort of lines. Everyone kinda just, makes up a sob story and rolls with it. Like whoa, why is everyone in Eorzea so unfortunate? Why does the player need to be the -last- superspecialsoleremainingpersonleftoftheirtribewhoshehatedbecauseitwasabusiveandsoshewasadoptedbyhyur. Because it interests them. At the end of the day, we all roleplay for different reasons, and we all have different interests. Adoption stories, just as abuse stories, can be just as good stories as something with a happier note. It's about execution and your reading preference. I like raspberries. Not everyone likes raspberries. I can still eat my raspberries. They can still not eat raspberries. As long as I'm not trying to force my raspberries on them, or they're not trying to force me to stop eating them, everyone can be happy. At the end of the day, participate in the RP and stories that make you happy, but there's no need to be judgemental of those who don't like what you do.

I'm not so convinced that the horns and faces are attached to one another (or will be in the final product). There's a few faces on the males that look the same but have different horns. Also, the following two photos of females look like the same face but have different horns.

It may also be worth noting that during both the Halloween event, "All Saints Wake," and the current event (Hatching-Tide) there are 'full body transformations' that happen. The event descriptions lead one to believe that this has to do with illusion called "Transfiguration." Whereas this word may not necessarily be the term "glamour" they do suggest the ability to take one creature and make it look like another (and not have it attached to, "Omgdarkvoodoomagickkillit"). *to elaborate further, in the above event you're turned into different "devilish" creatures by an uncanny illusionist for a FATE.

I've gone ahead and put this in the OOC section because I'm trying to keep the IC section to strictly IC / Almost always IC. However, if you feel like your blog is more OOC than IC, I'll move it.

This might be getting a little off topic, guys. Perhaps we could keep it on such? I've been really interested in reading how this has affected Ul'dah. And the NPC chatter people have been posting is wonderful!
