I don't think anyone was surprised. We've all been expecting Rogue and some kind of gun based class since 2.0's beta. But we're still excited about how awesome the job looks. What'cha makin', Abs? Uh... whatever it was that was happening in the Quicksand the other night. Oh look, a girl! Both of them are thinking "I wear it better."

Uh huh, uh huh. It's not as though I'd be raving about it, that's just silly. And mostly this is for some fun backstory for me, that would probably only ever come up outside of the write-up during personal arcs anyhow and even THEN still be fairly vague. That is, however, pretty far aside from the point. I'm just here to have fun, soooo I don't really care about the people for whom this would be such a major issue that they wouldn't play with me. They are clearly not the kind of people I want to play with. And unfortunately, that is exactly how it looks to me. So I'mma just ask you to kindly leave me be. :3 You got yourself a deal.

I'm not going to stop you from doing this. By that I mean I have no means to stop you even if I wanted to. Instead I can only warn you that, even with the FFXIII crossover event, having characters jump from other settings is a massive faux-pas. A lot of players, myself included, do not like the idea of universe jumping. I'm not saying you'll never find someone who's OK with it. Who knows, maybe you will. I'm just saying, if you come to my character talking about being born on Gran Pulse, he's going to alert the local authorities of a crazy person at large, and that will be the extent of my willingness to engage you in RP. I, personally, don't even see the FFXIII event as canon. I want nothing to do with it in my RP. I'm not alone in this. I hope you don't see this as me trying to bully you into changing your character. If your heart's set on it, do it. But I just want you to be aware that by doing so, you're sending out a certain message and limiting the amount of people who would be willing to RP with you.

So if your character becomes a knight, can we call him Ser Pounce?

Hiii! Welcome to the game! I hope you have fun. You know Zac, so that's a great start. Force him to show you around. Make him run dungeons with you. Make him be your chauffeur. And say hi to people every chance you get! Before you know it you'll have your own circle of friends! Then you can kick Zac to the curb, steal his friends, make his family like you more than him, and then start dressing like him until you've ultimately stolen his entire life. That's what I call "endgame".
