Once again, special thanks to Nailah for helping us serve drinks and her creative recipes. I think Inarah needs to take some mixology lessons from you! We next open the bar on 2 May at the usual time and we're looking to pay (ICly, not real gil) some singers and performers to provide entertainment for us. We've already had some enquiries from potential performers but please do get in touch with myself or Kilid if you're interested.

Relationship RP in general seems to attract those types, with or without ERP. That's why, after learning the hard way, I only RP romances with people I know and trust. It's just easier to talk things out and ensure everyone's on the same page if you already feel comfortable speaking to them as a player. Of course there can still be problems but it does lower the odds quite a bit in my experience. Honest communication is the key, as has been said, so if problems do arise you can tackle them before they escalate into something worse.

I seem to have forgotten to post the written report on the closing event for our first company story arc, so without further ado:

I've killed off characters in other MMOs. In GW2, my asuran assassin got what was coming to her. In WoW, I wanted to race change my mage into a new character so she started meddling with forces beyond her control and met an untimely end. That said, I avoid permanent death unless I'm 100% sure I'll never play that particular character again. My unplayed characters more often get an ending where it's feasible that they might come back some day, like settling down with family or disappearing to investigate a new land.

Ul'dah seems to have a lot of random RP in the Quicksand, as Warren said. You can find it in Limsa and Gridania too but it's not as steady there. If you check out the upcoming events on the calendar here, going to those is also a good way to meet new people.
