This sounds interesting and doable. I imagine there could be lots of fun rp involving bribes and the such if your character was a bit shady.

I created a Lalafell noble in Ul'dah. I am still working on her back story but I am glad to get involved in role play.

I'm pretty sure that Au Ra is wearing an Astrologian mask and that is why her face is darker. But the textures look horrid. So sad.

Walk up RP (not that I seem to ever be able to get involved in any) is often the most fun. It is an open world and if people are playing in Say in a public setting, including far flung locales that you just so happen to stumble upon, the RPers should anticipate potential "interruptions". Of course, use your judgement. If its a date or a conversation that seems to be tailored specifically to the people involved maybe wait to approach them at another time. Everyone is different. If you try to get involved in a situation and it becomes clear that your interaction isn't welcome just apologize (either IC or OOC or both) and move on. Good luck.

Welcome! It can be overwhelming. I would suggest making a post with what you're searching for in a role-play and look through similar posts to see if your character might fill a void in someone else's story. I made a Lalafell yesterday and immediately upon leaving the Quicksand someone began following and poking my character.

I just thought the little Miqo'te girl from the All Saint's Wake event was too cute not to save. Apparently kittens have to grow out their tails while growing into their ears. Or maybe she is a bobtail?
