Well thanks to this person and some friends, instant pop last night and now into Ishgard!

So close to Ishgard, 10 quests left and I cannot find a que for Steps of Faith for my life. All throughout the day I've been queuing up for this and so far not a single pop. I have to log off because I ran out of time that's how long it's taken. 5th time queuing for it now and like all other times today, average wait time is less than 5 minutes and for the 5th time I'm looking at over a 45 minute que. Is this thing bugged or something? Not once has it located a second player! So close to Ishgard, 10 quests, I could easily be there in the next several hours if this thing would just pop for me!

This one is one Balmung! I have characters on both servers. @_@ But you can totally come to this wedding. ^__^ That awkward moment she was only using that for an excuse....

Ehh, it happens sometimes. I once fired an arrow into the ceiling of the Quicksand pinning a flyer to the roof in front of a supposed "guard" who'd been emoting what a boring night standing at his post he was having. Nothing...... Other times I skip a pebble into the fountain and *BAM* instant RP.

You gave me a new idea, NERDY MERCENARY SEX WORKERS! :bouncy: On a serious note, there's usually a good number of Scholar-ish type characters at the Quicksand, maybe you are just missing them? Also there a few LS around that have to do with making discoveries, furthering science and other stuff. Just click the "Linkshell" tab at the top of the page and browse for them!

I really wanted to make it to this with an alt I haven't played in sometime. Alas, parenting duties interfered and I was whisked away to a land of dirty diapers, baby rattles and pacifiers. Dat next one doe!

I have yet to gain access to Ishgard (hopefully tonight) so I do not know much lore wise about the Dark Knight, but once I do I'm assuming I will actually RP as one and be fueled by emotions. I have a story arc in mind, but I'm not sure it'd work without knowing more of the Dark Knight.

Go to Quicksand. Find someone you don't know. Start talking to them ICly. Never talk to them OOCly except for big issues that need to be resolved. Have fun. I actually like getting to know people I rp with OOCly - doing PvE and whatnot with them. Actually being friends. Any reason for the rule? I think the discussion here is how to make friends for her RP character, not necessarily how to make friends for herself who RP. If that makes any sense.....I did my best lol
