  1. Oh I expect there to be some RP law types showing up, as long as they can properly RP the situation, being as how a imagine in this time merely walking in and saying "I'm a good guy you must stop" Probably wouldn't be very effective. I think if they could RP throwing a few punches themselves/being hit, this would make for an awesome time! But, I do understand the point of, unless the people involved were willing to RP their injuries sustained for a few days, from an immersion RP point, probably wouldn't be very successful. Me personally, I'd love to knock around a few people while getting my ass handed to me by drunken patrons/city guards!
  2. I would love to turn it into a straight up tavern brawl with 10-15 people! Sure it would be chaotic, but a real life brawl is!!! Okay I'm going to do it.......you convinced me!
  3. Hmm, I will buy both at your low price, then resell you at a higher markup!
  4. Well the plan was to take it out side, I know better than to mess with everyones little Quicksand. Which, if being honest, seems a little.......dumb. It's a tavern, filled with a bunch of drunken egotistical men (my character included, minus the drunk part, he don't drink) and a fight is almost forbidden to take place. Seems almost immersion breaking to me! But instead, I headed up running into a very odd girl, whom I am still trying to understand.....
  5. Right now, and I mean straight up brawl, no serious injuries / death allowed. Take turns beating the crap out of each other, will be decided a draw when done. The reason, the Quicksand is pretty boring right now..... Send tell in game if it seems like fun!
  6. If you are wanting to find some other place different, man I am right there with you! Let me know what you find and I am there!
  7. Rifts AH was the best in any MMO I've yet to play.
  8. You lost me at fortnightly.......simply because I don't know what that means lol
  9. Do dungeon mobs drop anything decent that is sellable? The only gear I've ever come across is all untradeable
  10. Endgame, in regards to crafting, is the stuff you can start to make once you hit 50. Preferably in ALL the crafting classes. There's items of increased difficulty that you can start to make that require a minimum amount of the crafting stats, and the cross-class skills from several of the other crafting classes is more or less required. Unfortunately, this often includes some of the more vanity-oriented items like swimsuits and the like, which is why they often tend to be so pricey on the market. All character customization from a visual sense comes solely from mixing and matching gear (which oftentimes requires levels in some class or another), dying the dye-able gear, and personal cosmetic stuff like haircuts and the like from the aesthetician. it's no All-Points Bulletin or Champions Online customization, but it's okay. The crafting guides are... oddly set up. They're all about what Guildleves you should take due to the ease of crafting/buying the required items. The ones I use usually give you an option at the bottom of each level spread saying which item you can make for "grinding." Example, "make silk." Thus, I get the mats to make silk, set my character to make 99 of them, and then go off to do laundry or something. Dungeons and such are another beast. I would definitely take up your FC-mates offer to run a few. Most of them aren't too bad, and having people willing to help and work with you will definitely help boost your confidence at running them. A far cry better than getting some random Pick-up-Group full of folks who expect you to know the dungeon and be able to speedrun it. And the best thing I can offer? Just ask for help. In your FC or here on the RPC. You'll probably find at least one or two people willing to help you out, if not more. Thanks for the information! Also try the "guildheist" things, I think they are called. A very non pressure introduction to dungeon fights. Infact, look me up in game and I'll questions in with you, it will be fun! I will! When I get back I am going to take a DPS class on Kestrael and leave tanking alone for a bit until I get more of a hang of things. Yeah if you are new to dungeons, I strongly recommend not to start out with tanking. You basically are responsible for everyone elses well being and for how the run goes in general.

  12. Gear from the market board is where a good chunk of my $$$ went. Though I understand it's to expensive, I was way undergeared for tanking Halatali, I managed to do it without any in the party dying but lost aggro a lot. So I went to the market boards and brought my gear rating from 12 to 21.
  13. Oh, someone had told me that housing was around 200-300k......
  14. Yeah I don't so much care to be rich as I do being "comfortable". Getting a house, furnishings for house, vanity items, etc.
  15. There is no bounty, they just want her for questioning. Psshhh, feel free to do what you want then haha. I'm not sure what my character could offer you in Rp, cent for maybe a friendly drink or something at the Quicksand. If you happen to see me feel free to walk up!
  16. By crafting, I'm assuming you mean the endgame crafting?
  17. I know you mentioned that it's only your opinion but... (taken from here) ...that's why most people don't associate nunh with being leaders. While strength is an admirable and welcoming trait to have in one's leader, I don't necessarily agree that it would generally make more sense for them to automatically take the role, especially if the tribe as a whole was aware that a nunh in particular wasn't exactly the wisest guy around. Hmm, I stand corrected, I totally missed that!
  18. This seems to be an issue with me, I'm not a huge crafter and it seems to be a little tough to make a decent gill outside of crafting. Is there anything else you do to earn some $$$? Maybe it's just a level thing, I have one character who, upon hitting lvl 42 as Bard, got tired of the wait times and immediately switched to tank. Now it seems like it's impossible to have kind of decent income.
  19. Bored at work myself, while on forums discussing Miqo'te breeding / mating rituals.......again lol
  20. I'm having trouble understanding this notion really. Why would smell necessarily replace sight just because it was their dominant sense? In fact, to use a possible counter-argument, in the case of tribal miqo'te who typically value strength rather highly for the sake of procreation, being able to tell that someone is physically fit by simply looking at them would seem like something of more importance(and by extension, attractive) to them than seeing some scrawny hunter/huntress who happened to have a unique and pleasant scent nonetheless. I actually agree with the scent thing. We rely on what on what our dominant sense is. For instanc: Humans rely more on sight then smell. So we associate with our eyes. If I tell you that you look beautiful, it's more of a personal compliment then if I'd had said you smell good. Miqo'te on the other hand, have more a sense of smell, I feel like it's the opposite for them. Being told you smell good, is perceived a higher compliment then you look good. Again, in an Rp situation you can do whatever you like.
  21. Not to keep this going, (he says, while doing just that) though it doesn't say exactly if a Nunh is considered the leader, it would make sense that the strongest of the tribe, in this can, the Nunh, would be leader of said tribe. No as stated before, none of this isbfacts, and is just my own opinion
  22. Again, hitting a moving target that might not let said Roe make the kick. Not saying it isn't a valid tactic, but it's kinda like saying "My female character would beat a male character just by kicking them in the junk." Fair point, though I still believe that most often then not, in a Row setting, the odds are heavily against the Lalafell. But then again, as we all know this isn't real life, it's fantasy. Our characters are only as deadly as we allow them to be. Ignore me, I just like starting controversial discussions haha
  23. I understand the agree to disagree comment because I'd argue that the roe would just punt them across the desert like a football
