For that, I would suggest you run your own giveaway unless you want to donate gil. I'm not sure how I would feel about that personally due to me wanting to give out rather than receive. The reason I suggest your own giveaway rather than just giving items to mine is that you would have another giveaway people can sign up for have another chance to win. I'm open to discuss donations further, but I think I would need to make a policy on it first before accepting anything. As for your own, you mentioned it to me in a PM before, I don't mind helping you set it up.

It's been a blast doing this and the reception has been really positive with no complaints or drama. I hope to have another six months of the same and to be able to provide a little something back to you guys. I've had a lot of words of appreciation given with each give away and it makes my day to know that people enjoy it; some have actually taken it as inspiration to hold their own giveaways and that's awesome. If there's anything I want to come out of these is that people take it and pay it forward some. When this first started, a new patch came out and released a lot of new clothing items and such that weren't the easiest to get a hold of so picking items to give out was easy. Now, there's not much as new so I'm cycling a few of the popular prizes of the past for this month. So, who better to tell me what you guys would like besides...You guys. Here is a link to a thread in which you can give your responses and opinions as to what you would like to see in the upcoming months. Also, with this drawing I will be giving out 5 company tabards as well in commemoration of Wayfarers of Eorzea's 1 year anniversary. That's a surprise too. We didn't really start events until November, but the company was actually created last May. It's been over a year in the making and even though the company has had it's ups and downs we are still planning to move it forward. And in commemoration of the company, these company tabards will come dyed in the Wayfarer colors, black and white. Feel free to change the color to what you would prefer, but I thought this would be a neat little give away to pull the whole year and half year anniversaries thing together. This is awesome. I don't know how I missed the initial post or didn't see this, but I am insanely interested. It might be awhile, and I might miss the window for commissions this time, but I am certainly going to be saving up for something and I really appreciate you doing this for the community. Instead of searching for a theme to fit your character of Free Company, you can have the theme MADE to fit your character or Free Company. Just awesome.

Gee, I would love to know the magic answer to this as well, lol. Instead of being long winded, just be sure to always stay polite OCC and remember that IC =/= OOC. Be upfront with people about the mature theme of the company and don't bend yourself to get more members and try to make them all happy; it leads to people fighting among themselves and pulling you into it when you've supported both sides. As far as cliques in FCs go I have no idea how to prevent it. People like their safe zones, it's a lot like high school.

Ello! I'll start by fully disclosing I have no idea about the naming habits. So I'm sorry that I can't help with that one. Personally, as long as it doesn't conflict with any major lore points, it sounds like you have a pretty strong backbone for your history. The major points are: She was treated like an outcast, she had to do what she could to survive, she is emotionally scarred from her life, and she made it to Eorzea. Regardless of lore, that part won't have to change. I call it your back bone because the extra details you list are like the meat of your story and help flesh it out, but, big but, regardless of any issues people might have with your backstory you will always have your main structure. Stick to that if that is the character you want. Even if it might not be nobility you could still say she was an outcast in a noble home as a servant. Anyway, I'm rambling, but I would love to RP with you sometime and help flesh out more of your character. Backgrounds are good, but until you nail down her personality things might be subject to change. Feel free to send me a PM. :3
