  1. I've also got a few sets of Starlight items/mats for those in need @ ARR launch. ^^
  2. I'm most certainly interested. Though, IC-reasons would warrant my alt join if this comes to pass, due to them being more theologian/historian in personality. Sienna'd probably just leave with the Artifacts.
  3. Sienna was finishing a sale with a hooded Miqo'te, when the raised mention of the military from another merchant caused her buyer to drop the Hora's she'd been inspecting and dashed off. The Midlander frowned, that would've been a good sale n' all. "Oi! Darriman! Stop scarin' me customers off just cause yer wantin' to sell some moon ol' plums!" She yelled over to him, before fixing back up to a smile, attempting to attract more clientèle.
  4. America got a character "Birth Certificate" thing with the CE. We got the thermas, map, etc. in Europe.
  5. I got a thermas and some other stuff. I.. Should go find those.
  6. The main storyline would probably have been extended at least once by now if the whole "Time to fix the game and work on a way to rebuild!" stuff didn't happen. I see it as though during the Path of the Twelve storyline, Darnus is plotting. Gaius is wanting to Conquer, but Nael has other plans which start to occur around the time of the r46 quest in the main storyline. Now that Darnus is dealt with, Gaius can easilly get back to his plans to conquer Eorzea for himself (in the name of the Emporer, of course!)
  7. That LS would beeee... The GoldenMyst! Sadly they disbanded a year or so back. Welcome back, though!
  8. [spoil]As mentioned elsewhere, this will be the first of a few RP scenarios set before, and leading up to Dalamud's impact. It's to give people the opportunity to flesh out their characters leading up to ARR and the ability to form bonds for it, too![/spoil] Ul'Dah. Loud, Hot, and full of life. You could easily lose yourself in the day to day life here, as well as your clothes and Gil for that matter. It wasn't a place for the overtly naive, but held great opportunities for many. It was easy to see the attraction. The Ruby Road exchange was situated near the Hourglass, an adventurer's guild, and was home to many merchants and blaggers. At this particular stall was a girl. She could have been anywhere within her teens. Silvery hair was kept up underneath a hat, and violet eyes shone brightly with energy. Arms were held out in welcome as she yelled from her stall. "Get yer weapons! Finest in all of Eorzea, they be!" She grinned proudly. The life of a 'treasure hunter' lead to her finding many items of value, and the fact she had the ability to craft some of her own also came in handy. "Fisticuffs, daggers, an' swords! Defend yerself from those beasties small and large outside of our fine city's gates!" Her stall had several weapons, small daggers, bronze swords, horas and fists of varying cost. Most days of the week she could be seen here, and she'd gained a decent enough reputation. Word was, however, you didn't try to blag her or make off without paying. She had contacts of an unruly type. "C'mon and get them before yer chance is lost!"
  9. Heya, guys! For those that know, I brought Sienna to life late into the game. And, sadly, didn't get a lot of time to RP with you wonderful people. So, I was planning on setting up some RP events, set prior to Dalamud's appearance (as well as during - leading up to the Impact) via the forums down in the Town Square to help flesh Sienna out a lot more as well as maybe form some bonds ready for ARR. I'd like to offer this out to others who may also have missed opportunities for get something solid formed pre-Impact, too! I know a few of you are making new characters in ARR, so you're more than welcome to give them some RP history set during 1.0 if there's reason for them to have been there. ^^ First event: Hustle and Bustle (Open)
  10. About time I got around to one of these. ;;; I. Basic Info Characters: Sienna Skye, Luther Mysteral Primary character: Sienna Skye Linkshells: Domo, Light, Phoenix Down, Backstage, Rosa Primary RP linkshell: Rosa II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium-heavy. Basically, if I'm not running ingame content (not just RPing through it) and I'm ingame I'm probably gonna want to be RPing. Views on RP combat and injuries: It happens. And so long as it's an agreed thing between those involved, let it happen and let character development/storyline grow! Views on IC romance: I like'm. As long as the RPers are mature and it doesn't lead to OOC drama (sadly, I've experience this) it's an awesome addition to RP! Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Also love it! Though, if they're not NPCs it sucks when the player of your twin brother, or mother, etc. stop playing and you have to act accordingly to their vanishing. Views on lore: I love the lore sososomuch. I've seen others state that the lore is still young so it's understandable that some people make mistakes. I agree, though I'd prefer to be able to stick to lore as much as possible with what's currently available. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): All are good. III. Other Info Country: England Timezone: GMT Contact info: Tumblr: harmonywins, G-Talk/MSN: [email protected] [align=center][glow=blue]~Special announcements can be found in the posts below~[/glow][/align]
  11. [spoil]I've decided to write a little bit on Sienna's involvement during the final moments of 1.0. Why she'll be transported and not stay, die, etc. There's a few references to things from back when XIV launched, or at least RP/characters.. Hopefully some will get the reference, but at the same time I hope it doesn't deter those that done. ^^ Let me know what you think! It's been some time since I've written RP out like this. I've also added the End of an Era CG at a certain point in the story. It's set so that it'll play at the right time for that part of the writing. I've always liked multi-medium stuff, and didn't feel I could do the scene justice by text.. So yeah.[/spoil] During the final battle in Mor Dhona, Sienna was there. She did not fight, for it was not her goal. Sheâd defend if attacked, but moreover she was looking for someone. She looked and searchd but there was no avail. You see, many within all Citystates had fled Eorzea. By boat, airship, or other means, they left the continent in search of other lands that would give them refuge while their homes were destroyed. Sienna, however, had been given word that someone important from her past was coming home. She remained within her home, a guild of thieves hidden deep beneath UlâDahâs Ruby Road Exchange. Days passed, but he didnât arrive. It was the fateful day when she received word of his location. The air was filled with the smell of scorched flesh and metal. The battle had been raging for a while, and Dalamud was drawing ever closer. Siennaâs intent was to get in, find him, and get out together. But, the fates hadnât made it an easy task. There were thousands upon thousands on the battlefield, both sides were fighting bravely and it was unsure as to who would win before the impact occurred. Suddenly, she spotted something. Small, fuzzy, pompom.. Goggles and jacket? A Moogle! But, it was not just any Moogle.. âYou!â She ran over to him, avoiding those going at it with each other as best she could. He squeeked and kupoâd at her, frantic and seemingly pissed off at the current situation. She couldnât speak Moogle, so his squawks fell upon deaf ears. Instead she started speaking over him, hurriedly. âWhere is he?!â The Moogle stopped flailing and calmed, demeanor saddening somewhat and squeeked a few words. â.. Heâs not here, is he?â Sienna frowned. Their joint moment of sadness was quickly interrupted by the red moon of Allag breaking apart in the skies above. âShite! Câmon!â She grabbed the Moogle and ran, trying to find somewhere safe to take cover. What happened next was.. Unspeakable. ( ) Sienna just stood there, her home city.. And much more wiped out instantly. Suddenly a bright blue dome covered her, the Moogle, and many others whoâd been within range. It shattered, and an elderly Elezen began to reform it. Once more it fell and she watched as all she could imagine to be The Twelve took to play in an attempt to seal the winged beast. She was lost for words until a frail â.. No..â escaped her lips upon seeing what seemed to be the final defense fail. Her gaze fell to the ground as Bahamut charged itâs attack. It was over. Eorzea would be ended, and she was leaving the living realm alone. Her gaze lifted once more as she was surrounded in a pale light. Quickly glancing around she noticed many others within range being affected the same way, vanishing one by one until.. ---- To be continued in.. http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdbshx11841rv39v7.jpg[/img]
  12. Thanks for the concern, though! ^^ I like your typeface for Crystalline. I'd definitely use it (With permission, of course!) in the future!
  13. From past experiences with friends who sell Pokémon Gym Badges, it tends to be a case of they don't care unless you make a certain amount of money, which isn't my aim. Also, as both the logo and typeface in use weren't created by them it's not -as- much of an issue. Similarly to how people sell their artwork of Cloud, or Charizard, etc. as prints. ^^ Either way, I respect SE enough so if they ask me to stop making/selling these I'll do so. But! Until then, I'd like to give people the option of having some neat XIV-themed shirts. :3
  14. Unintentional triple-S there. But yeah. I have designed some shirts and hoodies based around the Dalamud logo, and was wondering if there'd be any takers? You can view some examples below, and I have some set prices that include the garment, printing/pressing, and postage. Let me know what you think? [spoil]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_md4m62Vrsl1rdeokzo1_r1_1280.png[/img] Costs would be as such: T-shirts (three varieties) are $30 including Postage. Hoodie (Zip, no zip options): $50 Various colours available, and everything other than the zip-hoodies can have the logo either on the front or back.[/spoil]
  15. I just activated XI, so I'll be happy to join!
  16. That's now my desktop background.
  17. May I just point out that it's somewhat disheartening that on an article relating to RP drama.. We have it starting in the comments already? It's not really dissuading people who believe it all to be true.
  18. Ah yeah, I saw it shortly after. Looks like the bazaar area.
  19. There's also leaked video footage (which I won't post, just incase) and the citystate is now called "New Gridania." I'm curious as to whether OLD Gridania (and the other two) will be visitable in some form.
  20. I felt the need to share this: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mcwo0rq5Wq1rdeokzo1_1280.png[/img]
  21. I like the look of this, though I'm sad that nothing they're actually showing is new. I see Build there, but then they show us Facial extras. Which haven't changed. I would have preferred to see more than just a bust slider and layout in the new things.
  22. I understand that not everyone would wish to use the RPC for whatever reason, but many new players may never even know it exists and it'd be good for them to have the opportunity to come here, just as much as the reverse. EDIT: Blade. This conversation occured yesterday on the LS ingame. Several people requested for this to occur, so that any discussions can't be twisted as they'd be openly viewable to everyone.
