I don't see a problem with Nee being cute, while she is neecapping some Roe or other villain. The particular roe being one of my linkshell leaders.

This is a good idea and reminds me how annoyed I am that we could not start as a gatherer or crafter. In 1.0, I started as a botanist.

Also in 1.0 you had to use Grand Company seals in order to get the Chocobo (Think it was 3000 or maybe 1000 seals). If you had done that, then there should have been a Chocobo Whistle somewhere in your inventory. :chocobo:

Is it a SPACE CHOCOBO?!!!! :surprise: I haven't 100% hammered down the personalities of my characters just yet, since my 1.0 ones are going through sweeping revisions, so the chocobo name will be based entirely on their personality.

I think it would best to decide which city you want to be part of, to interact with the npcs who are the leaders or important individuals of that city and getting familiar with the lore. By level 10 you can switch to another class and for the main quest it is not too long before you will get access to the other cities. Seeing as how you want Marauder, it would not be a bad idea to get some levels in conjuror for skills such as heal and protect. Also archer has a useful skill called raging strike. Personally when I started in 1.0 I chose the city I wanted to live in. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the link. I did the quest but did not try any of the colours as most of my gear could not be dyed. I was wondering though if The gatherers will still be able to harvest dyes like they did in 1.0.

Also you could simply be part of a dunesfolk family that immigrated to Gridania a couple of generations ago and simply adopted the ways of the Black Shroud.

If you want to play a noble perhaps a refugee from Coerthas. With their cavalry and such sort of implied there was a nobility. Also for Ul'dah you would probably have to be related somehow to the Sultana, which means going lala Course everyone should go lala.

The only reference I remember in game in 1.0 to lala age was the little lala in the miner's guild who said they had being brewing for over 80 years. Speaking of miner's guild, was there any lore in beta as to why the bar and dancing girls were gone ? I only just arrived in ul'dah before the end of the weekend.

I sorta skimmed thru the comments so sorry if this has been mentioned. When we get our legacy characters back it is possible the storyline may be different. The story given is just for new characters, with warriors of light being the legacy characters. Anyways my two cents and I am keeping the change.

Lala are the best dancers of course . Before I started playing ff xiv, I played lineage ii, Every Tuesday they had the Wishing Well where people would tell stories, poems or sing. Something like that would be nice, kinda reminiscing now.

Agreed! Everyone needs a little Lalafell love. Speaking of which, I don't think I've seen many dedicated Lala RPers in 1.0, so it's nice to see more people playing 'em. I believe that anyone thinking of rerolling should go Lala. Lala forever!!! Join the legions !!! :thumbsup:

I don't think they will be labeling Balmung as the official server anytime soon or another for that matter. I think they prefer to keep it unofficial. Certainly the end game shell I am in, a number of them are saying they would leave, if it was made a rp server. Regardless I plan on staying on Balmung and if they were to name another server the official one, I think it would just cause to much trouble,

I like the female highlander's dance, and may make an alt, but I will be a lala forever. I cannot imagine a world without Nee, such a terrible place it would be.

Hopefully you will be successful both in and out of the game. I had just joined towards the end when it kinda died :cry: so I hope it will be more active. :thumbsup:

I would also like to get re-pearled. Hoping to have more time to do the roleplaying this time around.

The last few months of 1.0 I didn't do any rp with lots of rl stuff to deal with as well. I still consider myself a rp newbie and so called light roleplayer. I am hoping to find a rp shell, since all the ones I had joined previously died. So hopefully I will see some of you in game
