I was trying to figure out how to word this properly but you have the jist of it. The NPC doesn't have an avatar in the game world at all, so just fake it if there's a quest to talk to someone like this. Thank you for bringing this up and the kind words! :blush:

[align=center][/align] [align=center]Balmung Venture Board[/align] [align=center]Invented by Miriamele Nelhah & Run Alongside Kasi Nebuko & ‘The Veil’ FC Of Balmung FFXIV Basics [/align] How this Works: This is a venture board for Balmung. On this board will be placed various types of jobs for various types of people. Ventures can accepted by anyone, but through officials - The Veil staff members. Once a job is accepted that person should go into the world and have fun with it! When a bill is complete the person who took it must report in for their reward. There are rumors however of a second board, a ‘Darkboard.’ Only trusted people who know the password, which is known in some shady circles as ‘Is the Seer in?’ will be directed to a second room to see the more illegal ventures available. [align=center]Rules[/align] OOC: 1. No venture can be taken via anything other than IC and through The Veil 2. Only 1 venture will be allowed to be taken at a time. 3. No one will be allowed to take more than 2 ventures a month (There is a soft cap because of the work put into it. I don’t want this to mine or anyone’s second job. If we can get more volunteers this can be raised.) 4. Requests involving another player’s character or items must have consent from said person. This also includes free company leaders consent if items inside a Free Company are used. IC: 1. The public, legal, board is available in the main house itself. However the more illegal ventures are accessed by a password. ‘Is the Seer in?’ or any similar form will get the headnod from staff to proceed to the room containing the Darkboard. 2. A percentage of any reward is shared with ‘The Veil’ and Miriamele Nelheh ‘The Seer’ to keep the venture Board running. [align=center]How to use this board[/align] 1. Go to The Veil FC (Beds/7/40) 2. Search the board for a hunt you’d like or say the password ‘Is the Seer in?’ to get access to the Darkboard, the illegal stuff. 3. Tell a staff member you’d like to accept a hunt 4. Go out into the world and RP your hunt before the end date! 5. Come back and report your success or failure and receive your reward/conciliatory drink! 6. Take another hunt, submit your own, or wait for new hunts to be posted! This venture board is for those seeking work and to add more flavor to people’s RP and the world around us. It is strongly encouraged that you not just accept a hunt and return a few days later saying the venture is done. Go out and roleplay in the world! Make new friends! Tell people about the newest hunt you undertook and you might find new friendships, acquaintances and rivalries blooming! Kasi and Larswith, the GMs of this FC, has been a good friends to me and mine. Willing to work with people, willing to jump in to help or lend a hand and just as willing to lend a ear and have voices of reason. Anyone on the fence about this FC should definitely take a leap and try it!

Hey everyone! I'll keep this short so we can jump to the good bits! Me and a small group of friends are searching for a heavy RP-FC on Balmung. If you think you have room for 3 or 4 new members let me know in the comments or a PM? What we don't want: 1. Some sort of tavern FC. A tavern in a FC is fine but we've done the tavern thing several times and don't want to do it again thank you! 2. Less than 10 active members. We've also done the small thing, and want to try larger this time. What we do want: 1. Medium to large FC with FC wide plots. 2. A FC that would accept researchers and a morally grey-evil type character. 3. A CST timezone FC if possible (not a dealbreaker) What you would get: 1. At least two active members, perhaps 3. 2. ^ Also this is pretty hilarious. Seriously! I was making new retainers and I decided to try some new combos. I found a Miqo'te male who says the following: Coming: It's a war out there, miss. You have no idea. Going: The markets may be a bleedin' battlefield, but I'm a godsdamned soldier. You can count on me, madam. We laughed our collective butts off and made a channel to say quotes that might come from him at certain times of the day. It's was a real hoot.

Hey there! I see Deahfel and Kasi gave my FC kudos (<3 them) and I wanted to chime in finally and address some concerns of yours. My main concerns are: Member count - I am not looking for a large FC. I don't want to just be some number. I also don't want to be in a group of only three people starting. We're actually not horribly big, though people might think so I guess? I dunno maybe I measure big FC's in how many mains there are. Currently we have 14 main characters all with different times they can log in (we have 2 EU players.). At night we usually range from 4-6 people with the others perusing outside RP. Will Kiri fit in? - She is a spy and that is what she does. Bar and taverns even if they have events that would fit around her just won't work for her, sorry. We don't have a tavern at all, I feel it's very overdone and wanted to be at least somewhat unique. We do have booze because if we didn't Hikari would be lynched I'm sure. *laughs* We do have room for a spy as it was mentioned above we are a relic hunter's FC but Hikari is/was a Doman noble and could use Shinobi for FC plots. So yes she can! We can work out better details in pm's if you'd like. The current active members - I need a break from having to walk on eggshells so any FC I have found interest in I am looking at their members. I want to log in, chat, joke, have fun. I don't want to deal with people who make me feel like I have to not only censor myself but change who I am to try and make sure they are comfortable. I understand this is the internet. I understand you will always run in to these people but I have the choice not to and if they were in the FC before me then they can stay there and I can stay out of it. It is nothing against the FC mind you, I just need a break from this. As up above we have about 14 mains members. A lot of our communication happens on discord and you are more than welcome to join us for a while there to get a feeling for us and us you! Personally I feel everyone is laid back, friendly and funny. (I'm not funny, I wish I was but we have a discord channel called #themarketboardneverchanges where people make funny jokes involving a marketboard scarred retainer.). Any other questions? Hello M'iriya! If you'd like my FC is a good aligned FC that are a group of relic hunters researching for interesting artefacts in ruins and abandoned cities. Hello! I agree with Kasi above, Balmung is filled to the brim with roleplayers and it's definitely worth the 18 dollar fee. If you do decide to transfer you can transfer all 8 characters at once too which helps for having standby bad guys and plot PCs. Anyways good luck finding RP wherever you decide to go.
