I mean the paladin class lore you become is a free paladin, which is just sworn to your own oath instead of being sworn to the Sultana. They're more unique in that the paladins you play as in XIV aren't sworn to any religious order or royal order and basically just have a personal oath to abide by instead. So I'd argue it's even more different than what you're stating!

Y'all talk like Avelyn is ending up with a man but the Korrasami shipper in me has it down for Avelyn and Kiera, the Aviera ship. Already got a kiss so the anchor is up, this ship can float.

I absolutely approve of this ship, and hereby christen it HMS Roesnuggle. Aedan wants to know where he can buy a ticket to ride alongsail on this ship. You're already shipped to Saga until Saga crashes and burns it. Chip Wayman and Adalhaid Rask is my teen romance ship.

I just looked around my room and saw my half-eaten breakfast bearclaw danish and named myself after that. Better than stapler I guess. Saga just because it was an old norse girls name I liked that still has modern usage as a word. Dragoon got named after my favorite character in Wakfu, Evangelyne and a video game I liked a lot, Recettear. Seseto Seto was just named after Seto Kaiba because that's her gimmick.

They've had afros in Final Fantasy games before. It's a serious hairstyle in real life. It fits the aesthetic fine I think, plus it's unisex and the only hairstyle being added that is truly curly (the two long styles are really just wavy) . It probably won't be everyone's taste but especially with a thing like hairstyles you can't really please everyone, I'm just glad they're adding more and this is just one batch before the next wave that includes contest winners. #teamafro

No but weird colored hair looks stupid and anime on any hairstyle and awful and gross in real life.

Angela Davis Dr. J Bell Hooks Spike Lee Someone has the wrongest opinion on one of the coolest hairstyles. 8-) Model looks fine to me for the aesthetic they wanted, if they went for something that wasn't heavily combed it'd have been a modeling nightmare. On a less serious note, also this japanese guy: [video=youtube]

Player-made Ishgardian Noble Houses Directory
Bearclaw replied to Blue's topic in Chronicled Connections
Server: Balmung Noble House Name: House Recettear Pledging/Related/Serving to High House: House Haillenarte Description: Originating from a bastard son of House Haillenarte that was never legitimized, Goultard Recettear took the last name of his lowborn mother several hundred years ago. Fighting in the Dragonsong War and taking the moniker of "The Rose Dragoon" with pride despite the implied insult towards his bastard heritage of House Haillenarte, Goultard proved himself in slaying a great wyrm by the name of Kvasir. Raised into nobility on the behest of his father, House Recettear has the unique inheritance law that the son or daughter that takes the mantle of Rose Dragoon shall be first to inherit, and should they die in battle, then the eldest child remaining shall inherit instead, with primogeniture favoring men. Due to the dangerous nature of serving as a dragoon, this has often lead to second born sons or daughters inheriting the household. Included Races: Wildwood Elezen, servants are wildwoods and hyur Members: Lord Tristepin: Inheriting due to the death of his older brother as the Rose Dragoon, Lord Tristepin is a kindly if paranoid older gentleman that is well regarded for his stewardship of the family wealth, greatly expanding their coffers since his inheritance as Patriarch of the House. Lord Tristepin had become far more paranoid and concerned of late after the passing of his wife. (NPC) Lady Auvette: Passing away during childbirth of their youngest son Percedal, Auvette was a strict but kind mother that was well regarded for her talent in music and playing a wide arrange of various instruments. She was born from another vassal house of House Haillenarte. (NPC) Lady Evangelyne: The eldest daughter and child, Evangelyne in her early years began a martial education despite her father's insistence to allow her younger brother to take the title instead. (PC) Lady Amaldine: The middle child, Amaldine is but sixteen and finishing her education in proper stewardship. (NPC) Lord Percedal: The youngest child and second in line should Evangelyne die in service, Percedal is but a young child at the age of five. Due to his surprise birth and Evangelyne's inheritance now in question, the teenage Evangelyne took up the training of a dragoon in order to keep her inheritance without question. Percedel is a kind-hearted and sweet if not sickly boy. (NPC) Footnotes: Feel free to contact me if in-game on Saga Bearclaw or Evangelyne Recettear if you want to involve your house's history with mine. -
The annoying part is that every winner and runner up is from a Japanese player. I find that rather suspicious. Especially because the styles to be voted on were presumably picked by the Japanese Devs. If you look at the page, there isn't a single non japanese entry :c The male hairstyle was carried by female Japanese fans that make up a large portion of the Japanese player base. You have to remember that the Japanese will also be more likely to vote in Fandom blocs as well.

The fine print of the contest said they reserved the right to add in runner ups so we could still get the fighter hair or pompadour.

Wherever Adalhaid goes, her older sister is probably not too far behind.

I about agree with this as well. If anything, an argument could be made that roleplay is bad for writing and thus critical evaluation isn't helpful. It enables a lot of bad habits such as uncertain actions, narrow-minded perspectives, and is incredibly constraining with text limits and limited styles of posts. Self-evaluating yourself might only hurt your actual writing abilities. I sort of feel like it's how using your own self-evaluating for novel writing wouldn't help you for writing for a comic, as the mediums require different styles of writing and pacing. If you've been having fun and other people have had fun with you, that's about all the self-evaluation you need. I just roleplay like a social hobby though, akin to tabletop games with friends.
