[align=center] Starfall Trading Co. Weekly Report[/align] Happy Sunday, everyone! Dezmond and A'mahri here with your weekly Starfall Trading Co. report! This week, the company took the time to unwind and relax. After the events of South Shroud, the company was due for a little vacation. Though, we weren't slacking! We still managed to get work done. ________________________________________________________________________________​​__________________ [align=center]Onward to Limsa Lominsa! [/align] Having spent a rather long time cooped up in Gridania, ST-RP was due for a little change in scenery. With that said, the company had set sail for Limsa Lominsa! Our original plans were to start venturing into Thanalan, but Limsa Lominsa proved more beneficial towards member plots and stories - so we've decided to head there for a few weeks. With the little misadventure in the outskirts of Quarrymill a week prior and the company all banged up, worn out, and...itchy, it was high time for a little vacation. ________________________________________________________________________________​​__________________ [align=center]Fishing Trips and Secret Messages [/align] On Saturday of the 23rd, Starfall Trading Co. as well as some special guests had embarked on a little fishing trip along the piers of Costa Del Sol. Due to miscommunication between the Fishermen's guild and The Bismarck, Starfall was requested to catch a few fish in return for borrowing their equipment - in which the company happily complied. The day overall was relaxing. Though the weather was quite unpredictable, we still managed to soak in some of the La Noscean sun! Those who have gathered have managed to catch some pretty huge fish, as well. One of our own, Releki, had eventually fished up a bottled note - thus initiating our first ever FC Storyline. Though things were a bit chaotic at the start of the event, things have settled down quickly and we thank those who have decided to come along! ________________________________________________________________________________​​__________________ [align=center]"Moss" [/align] As stated above, one of our members had fished up a note in a bottle while on a fishing trip in Costa Del Sol. Upon the company opening the bottle, the contents revealed a small, scrunched up piece of parchment with nothing but the word "MOSS" scribbled on it in blue ink. At the moment, the company is currently trying to decipher the hidden meaning behind the parchment. Will Starfall be heading on a little treasure hunt? Is this message in a bottle just a sham? Who knows! ________________________________________________________________________________​​__________________ [align=center]Site and RPC Reworking[/align] At the moment, Starfall Trading Co. is undergoing some changes in regards to site, FC systems, and RPC layout. Expect a few changes! ________________________________________________________________________________​​__________________ [align=center]ST-RP Now on Tumblr![/align] That's right! After finally bipassing the little tagging block Tumblr inflicted upon new accounts, we can finally reach out into the FFXIV tag! Feel free to follow us - that way, you'll be kept up to date in FC antics, upcoming events, reports, and more. ________________________________________________________________________________​​__________________ That's about it for this week! In regards to housing, we've hit a bit of plateau in our earnings. We are however, only 4m away from our goal! We'll have ourselves a small/medium house in no time once the next patch rolls around.

I'm all for this! I've been trying to lvl MCH and..from the feedback I get from people I run with and people complaining on how bad the class is - I don't feel that confident in running dungeons and such with it, lol. If there's still room, mind adding me? A'mahri Kahz.

[align=center][/align] [align=center]Starfall Trading Co. Biweekly Weekly Report[/align] Happy Sunday, everybody! A'mahri and Dezmond here with the now weekly edition of the Starfall Trading Co. reports. With activities and such beginning to pick up within the company, we figured it'd be best to try and jumble everything up in a weekly report. From business meetings to company outings, we've been keeping busy! ________________________________________________________________________________​__________________ [align=center]A Change in Functionality[/align] Starting next week, we will be slowly getting adjusted from one event per week to two events a week along with a biweekly third! We figured that waiting all week for a single event was unsatisfying - boring, even. As a result, we have decided to add more days! Confused with the new timetable of events? Here's a small example. Week 1: Event Days - Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday Week 2: Event Days - Wednesday and Saturday Week 3: Event Days - Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday ...And so on! ________________________________________________________________________________​__________________ [align=center]Orientations and Business Meetings[/align] [align=center][/align] Starfall was finally able to complete orientation! For the members who have attended, they were given the opportunity to meet and greet their fellow co-workers as well as learn more about what will be going on within Starfall Trading Co. Afterwards, everyone got a chance to unwind and relax with some rice wine, courtesy of our very own Gyosei Tsuwamono. Additionally, we have also managed to complete our first workshop-type event. During the evening, the company was rounded up and given a briefing on the survey that was to happen a week later. They were also given the opportunity to relax and socialize as well as have a chance to model some of the company's wares for an upcoming showcase! ________________________________________________________________________________​__________________ [align=center]Survey Into South Shroud[/align] [align=center][/align] On the evening of the 16th of April, Starfall Trading Company embarked on their first survey into South Shroud. For those unaware, Starfall Trading Company's Survey type events involve the company going out into the wild and searching for whatever there is worth grabbing up! Everyone that gathered for the event was armed with swords, magic tomes, bows, and more! With our heads held high, we've begun our hike from Quarrymill over to Urth's Gift..and what a 'gift' it was! We've all managed to locate some valuable ores and crystals, and one lucky member in particular managed to spot some Lapis Lazuli! Upon exiting Urth's Gift, the party had accidentally stumbled across a nearby Goblin longstop. Two goblins, quite angered at our trespassing, have decided to attack! Worry not, though. Armed and prepared, the company fought back and were victorious! Carrying on with the survey, we've made it towards the other side of Quarrymill where we were able to examine the different types of flora. However (thanks to RNGesus), some of us were unlucky and got a nasty bee sting to the neck as well as gotten tangled in a rather large mess of poison Ivy. After gathering up our remaining strength and taking a few minutes to recover, the party pressed on further until we've finally reached Buscarron's Druthers where we parted ways to recover. Those who have managed to survive both bee stings and poison ivy drank the rest of the night away. ________________________________________________________________________________​__________________ [align=center]Housing Update[/align] Currently, Starfall Trading Co. has saved up to a sum of around 32m. We're getting there, folks! After a bit more farming and content between events, we'll be sure to have enough gil for a medium, if not a small house for the company by the time the next patch comes around! ________________________________________________________________________________​__________________ That's it for this week, everybody! First off, we've gained a few more additions to our merry band of a free company, as well as our linkshell. With this, perhaps we'll be able to start up some more large-scale events in the future, as well as get started on the IC Spotlight![/align] [align=center]__________________________________________________________________________________________________[/align] [align=center]A Slight Name Change[/align] [align=center] After a ton of confusion, we have changed our tag from <> to <>. We apologize for the inconvenience if you were trying to sniff us out![/align] [align=center]__________________________________________________________________________________________________[/align] [align=center]Teamwork is the Best Kind of Work[/align] [align=center] In addition to our influx of members, Starfall Trading Co. is beginning to set up 'branches' for other members. Nothing too big, or anything that will segregate the Free Company's members, but it's main use will be to make it easier for members discover or keep their interests, as well as help applicants decide what it is they would like to do beforehand. Both branches will have their own sorts of events, but that doesn't mean they aren't open to everybody! So! Now that we're on branch talk, here's a little bit of information about them. They'll also be edited into the IC Information section of the page.[/align] [align=center]__________________________________________________________________________________________________[/align] [align=center] [/align] [align=center]The Expeditionary branch may be well-suited for characters who are hunter-gatherers, sell-swords, adventurers, etc. However, just about anyone can pretty much tag along anyway. Those within the Expeditionary branch will find themselves often going out into the wild and procuring whatever materials may be in said area - be it IC or OOC. From an OOC standpoint, if you would like to gather/farm mobs in that area and chuck your findings into the Free Company chest for the Manufacturer branch, you are more than welcome to do so. From an IC standpoint, the Expeditionary branch will be rounded up every now and then to gather, hunt, and maaaay be taking out a few hostile animals and the occasional bandit or two. Events primarily involving this branch will mostly be labelled as [expedition] , [survey] , or [harvest tour].[/align] [align=center] [/align] [align=center]The Manufacturer branch is well-suited for characters who are merchants, craftsman, and those willing to learn how to craft in general. Regardless of whether your character is part of the Expeditionary branch or not, an SFC employee always has the Manufacturer branch to fall back on. This branch is the heart and soul of the Starfall Trading Company, and your character's job is to either craft various goods with materials given from the Expeditionary branch, or operate the more 'front of house' side of the company - selling our wares in our market stalls should the opportunity arise. Even if you are not a craftsman yourself, this branch leans more towards the business-oriented side of the company. A charming, outgoing personality or simply a helping hand in production is sure to make us a fortune! Events involving this branch will mostly be labelled as [workshop], [bazaar], or [company roundup].[/align] [align=center]__________________________________________________________________________________________________[/align] [align=center]Housing Situation[/align] [align=center]With news that 3.3 may be bringing us new housing wards, Starfall Trading Co. has gotten to work with saving up! Currently, we are summed up to around 23m thanks to both donations from the community as well as regular hard work running raids and other various forms of content from our members. Give yourselves a pat on the back everyone, you deserve it! By the time the patch rolls around, we'll be sure to be able to afford a medium sized house for the company..how exciting![/align] [align=center]__________________________________________________________________________________________________[/align] [align=center]The Astral Bazaar[/align] [align=center] [/align] [align=center]In the future, Starfall Trading Co. will be hosting its first ever public event, the Astral Bazaar! We're still coming up with ideas for what to do for the event apart from market stalls and raffles, but we'll keep you all updated when the time comes! So basically, last night I went to watch my father bowl in his little winter league and cheer him on a bit. So we drove over, I hung around for a few hours, took a walk, etc. Then my stepmother, aunt, and sister come by to watch for a bit as well, and being my sister gets bored super easily, she asked to go home. My stepmom asked if I wanted to come as well, and being a bit bored myself, I tagged along since my father wouldn't be done for the next two hours. So here's what happened..I walk a bit ahead of everyone, being it was cold and I just wanted to get a new source of warmth for the moment. I just climbed into my dad's car and waited for the rest of my family to come in. They...walked straight past the vehicle and gave me a funny look. "Aren't we going home? Where are you guys going?" I asked, quite confused myself..and then hit me. My dad wouldn't be done with bowling for two more hours and I just casually hopped into his car while the rest of my family went into my aunt's car so she could give us a lift home. ...The bad thing is, this has happened two times before.

While I was doing a bit of writing to brush up A'mahri's character wiki, I somehow managed to start creating news headlines for pretty much all of my characters..and..I pretty much spent a few minutes laughing because of it. So! If your character made it in the news or newspaper, what would their headline be? It can be related to current events in RP, or summed up about the lifestyle of your character in general. I'll start it off with A'mahri as an example. A'mahri: Self-Proclaimed Master Craftsman Glues Hand to Plank of Wood Local Miqo'te Breaks Record for Most Hours Sitting in One Place I'm curious to see what you guys come up with!

[align=center][/align] [align=center]Just a Small Update News, Recruitment, and Events[/align] [align=center]__________________________________________________________________________________________________[/align] Things have been going great for the company since we've started up! We've recruited several members, as well as opened our own stall for the Festival of Free Companies (Hosted by the lovely Aziza Nightshade and The Bastion of Twelve) where we managed to give out fifteen mammets and sold eleven rings. We're glad to have gotten our name out there a bit more, especially for an RP FC such as us just starting out! Additionally, we have gained one new member as well as several additions to our Linkshell! Now that we've gotten a good handful of members, we'll soon be kicking off with our events!
