"W-What? No, no, I'm not sick or anything, I'm just..." She paused. "Thinking of... someone. Is all." She shook her head, beginning to run a hand through her cerulean mane. Even after being with Gil for all this time, she still got all kinds of shy from admitting they were together. It was like some kind of weird thing for her, even though it really wasn't at all. She'd let out a sigh as her hands dropped to her lap. Her cheeks remained a bit pinked, but for the most part, she'd seemed to calm; momentarily, at least. "Um... you seemed to recite all that stuff from... memory, I guess. How do you know so much about the topic, but not the feeling?" Finally, she'd asked something logical. Something anybody else probably would've asked long ago; but then again, it was Rihxo. And a flustered Rihxo at that. A rather adorable, but kind of useless combination.

Rihxo blinked as Quint counted off on all her fingers the amount of siblings she had. Quint apparently omitted the exact amount she had, and thus Rihxo didn't press the question. "I guess it is," she said slowly, as if testing the words in her mouth. She couldn't help but smile a bit at Quint's comment; she really shouldn't be talking about herself like that. Her training had been rigorous, and it paid off; this showed in the Grindstone, and, soon, against Stalhart. But she wouldn't think about that right now. "Thank you," she stated simply, a small smile tugging at her lips. At the question about love, Rihxo would blush. Obviously, a certain Elezen came to her mind; inevitably, of course. "W-Well... love is... hard to explain." She paused, attempting to gather her words. "It's both heavenly and hellish at the same time; your heart is racing, you just feel warm when they're with you... happy. And then you get sad when they're gone... ah... s-sorry, am I, uh, rambling?" Her cheeks had turned a rather rosy pink, a hand pressed against her right cheek nervously.

Rihxo shuddered at the thought of meeting such a creature herself. Just seeing it in a vision was enough. Hopefully, this one would never come true. Another chocolate was plucked from the tin and eaten, though slowly; the taste seemed to soothe her. She tried to avoid snickering at Quint's confused (and assumed to be unintentional) use of a pickup line, though it managed to come through ever so faintly. Settling down a bit, now, her hands went the the bottom of her shirt, messing with the fabrics. "What about me? I'm nothing special; a Miqo'te with a passion for chocolate, love, and taking risks!" One of those things was not like the other. "I have four siblings, and we all live together over in Limsa Lominsa. I'm an average girl, really." A casual shrug of the shoulder; clearly, Rihxo didn't think of herself as anything in particular.

Rihxo's hand retracted from the portal and left her in a state of dazed confusion. Her vison was a bit hazy, and she felt sort of dizzy. A hand went to her temple, rubbing against it. "What did I...? I... I was in a field, there was this thing, twice the size of a Roe... The wind was whipping, it had this sword and a shield... I... Someone was yelling? It all makes no sense!" Rihxo shook her head, trying to clear it. "What does this mean, Quint?" She looked up to her, an obvious expression of confusion painted on her face.

Rihxo's ears fell back a bit as she heard the passerby's comment. Her brows furrowed in either contemplation or anger - maybe both - as she thought out her next move. Apparently, this didn't take long. Then again, Rihxo was not exactly known for being a genius. "You're the one people have been calling a witch recently, huh?" Rihxo smiled sympathetically, her eye looking at her sadly. "You're not one, though. You're just a bit different, i suppose." She sighed gently. "And people don't like that." In an unexpectedly bold move from the little Miqo'te, she would ask: "No, I want to hear what you have to say. Want to scry on me?" Maybe she really was blissfully ignorant. Or maybe just an idiot, like Feine had told her. But who knew?

Rihxo's expression notably went to one of confusion, feeling the icy hand in hers. It went back to a calm one rather quickly though, be it through the fact she'd practiced this sort of mask, or she was blissfully ignorant; either way, she would make her way over to her favorite table by the stairs and plop down into a chair casually. "My name's Rihxo. Rihxo Matoi!" She'd smile once more. "It's super nice to meet you, Quint." Leaning back into her chair, she'd pull a tin from her bag. Opening it would reveal a multitude of pearl chocolates. The tin would be placed between the two of them. "What brings you here to Ul'dah?" she asked simply, plucking a chocolate from the tin and popping it in her mouth, eyeing Quint with genuine curiousity.

Rihxo has a lot of reasons... she's... well. She thinks they look lonely. Everybody loves friends! ...right? She thinks they look sad, angry, or some other negative emotion. They're attractive. She may be taken, but pretty people are usually good company. She thinks they'll like chocolate, or any other kind of candy she'll have on her. She just finds them plain intriguing! She's not hard to find the interest of. /edited for spelling im a dummy

Rihxo's tail swished about gently as she seemed to be thinking about taking the flask. Eventually, it seemed, she made up her mind, and cautiously took the flask from the woman's hand. She'd open it slowly and take a sip or two of it before offering it back to Steel. It wasn't her whiskey, but a bit of alcohol was always welcome. "A Lamb of Dalamud?" Rihxo shook her head as she spoke. "I haven't seen one, I'm sorry. Oh! Do you care for a chocolate?" She'd nod to the large tin that sat in her lap, full of little pearls of chocolate. "I have plenty to spare, so have as many as you'd like." Another sweet smile. That seemed to be her thing.

Rihxo tilted her head slightly. She was never one to read much; she could never find time between work, cooking, dates and what have you. "That... actually sounds pretty interesting," she stated evenly. She'd stand slowly, offering a hand to the woman. "Do you want to sit at a table with me? The floor's all dirty, no place for reading." Another one of her sweet smiles. "I can carry some of your books for you if you need me to." A curious eye would flit to the crystals floating about for a moment before back down at the woman. Curious. I wonder what the deal is with those?

Thin and nimble fingers plucked an off-white pearl of chocolate from the tin held in her hand. Rihxo gently tossed the pearl into her mouth, biting down on the hard candy shell only to have the sweet flavor burst over her tongue. Another perfect batch. The lid of the tin would be easily slid back on and into a large bag at her hip. Rihxo pushed open the doors to the Quicksand, looking around curiously with ears perked. No sign of Nagi, Gil, Endel... any of the others. This was fine, it gave her an opportunity to meet new people and potential customers. Her one-eyed gaze fell on the woman by the wall who was reading with the odd crystals floating about her. People seemed to be looking at her; whispering. She'd been hearing things about a witch lately. Maybe she's the one they've been talking about. Poor girl! She looks all lonely, sitting by herself like that... Despite anyone else's better judgment, she sashayed over with a sweet smile tugging at her lips. She'd kneel down, hugging her knees and looked the woman in the eye, brushing back a lock of cerulean hair. "Hey there! Whatcha doin' over here all by yourself, huh?" ((edited because how 2 spell))

Rihxo's single eye stared, wide, at the Roegadyn woman before her. Her eye flitted to her chocobo and back to woman again, a hand pressing against her thigh instinctively to ensure the the dagger she kept was still there. Not like it would make much of a difference against her, but it would feel better. She'd relax as the woman introduced herself, her hand going to rest in her lap. Another chocolate would be tossed in her mouth, swallowed down, and her lips were tugged into a smile not unlike the one she'd given the others. "Hi there, Steel Wolf! Can I call you just Steel? Or Wolf? Whatever you prefer, really. Oh! I'm Rihxo, Rihxo Matoi! It's very nice to meet you." ((mmm late replies, tasty))

"Oh, no, I'm okay. Thanks though, Aiswynd!" She'd look back over to Kasumi, tilting her head slightly. "Go? Why? You just got here, that'd be silly! Besides, you and Aiswynd seem to be... friends. Don't you want to at least talk to him a bit?" She'd smile all too innocently. It was unclear if she'd thought the same thing Dacein did, or if she was really that oblivious. "Oh, yeah, Dacein, you're right! It'd be weird if we checked her, 'cause we don't really know her. Besides, I know, like, nothing about first aid and healing and stuff. It's unfortunate, really. But I can make candy! Hey, Kasumi, want some chocolate?" She'd offer forward a tin full of little white pearls of chocolate, plucking one from it for herself. What an abrupt topic change, as well! Rihxo had busied herself with writing in a notebook that she somehow managed to not realize that there was a newcomer here. "Whoa, hi! I'm so sorry I didn't see you, I must be really out of it tonight..." She'd eye the woman with curiousity in her eye, but a sweet smile on her face. "My name's Rihxo, it's super nice to meet you, uh... Oh, you didn't say your name! Unless you did and I didn't hear you. Oh, wait, sorry, am I rambling?" Rihxo shook her head. Even she wasn't usually like this! ((Let's play a game called "how bad did my tablet manage to screw this up?" EDIT: My tablet managed to screw this up.))

Rihxo slumped back against the cold stone wall, putting her face in her hands. Her chest heaved, her whole body trembled. But she knew she couldn't go home yet. He knew where she lived. He could find her and kill her. What happened? Where did she go wrong? One minute, he was fine. Confused, looking like hell, but fine. The next... the voices were telling him to kill her. Rihxo's hands pulled away from her face. They were wet now. She realized they were wet with her own tears. She wanted Gil. Nanagi. Someone, anyone, that she could trust, just to hold her and tell her things would be okay. But they wouldn't. Not now. She was a target, and targets must always watch their backs. Rihxo wiped at her eye, hugging her knees. She wanted to go somewhere safe. But where? Valen knew so much about her - about her family, her parents. He was her guardian before. Why did he turn? Rihxo's face darkened as she came to a realization. She knew Nanagi wouldn't like it. Gil wouldn't, Endel wouldn't - none of her friends would be happy about it. She knew where she needed to go now. She'd pull out her crystal, beginning to teleport back home to Limsa Lominsa. "Valen, just stay alive. Please."

About Rihxo Most of her time is spent in Ul'dah or Limsa Lominsa. Mercenary; specializes in Amalj'aa hunting with Nanagi Nagi. Powerful archer. Learning more rogue-ish ways as of late. Very charismatic. Bubbly and good with people. Often seen with tins of chocolate and candy. Where you may find her Ul'dah: Often seen in the Quicksand, conversing with others. Limsa Lominsa: Born and raised in the city; also where her home is. Gridania: Usually seen around the Botanist's guild. It's not often she's here, but when she is, it seems she's waiting for someone. Out and about in Eorzea, working or hunting or just... doing her Rihxo thing. Recent Events Rumor has it that a Miqo'te in red, a Lalafell in black, and a Hyur clad in glowing armor came out of a Garlean base... one that had just been destroyed. The three quickly left together. The descriptions seem to match Rihxo and her two closest friends. Recently, Rihxo has been spotted in Gridania. While she did occasionally make a stop or two in the city-state, it's more frequently than it usually is. She's also often seen looming nearby a blonde-haired woman, never speaking to her. More than anything else, it seems she's following her. She's quite the workaholic, however, it seems for the past week (just about) that she's not been working - something quite odd for Rihxo, who tends to work from dawn until to dusk, and often later. Things I am Looking for/Interested in Friends (friends are nice to have!) RP Plotlines (any setting is fine.) More RP partners (more RP = good!) People to RP Rihxo's siblings (Rihxo has 4 sisters and 1 brother, but the genders can be changed if needed! One of the sisters is being played already, as well as the brother, but the others are available) Things I am NOT Looking for/Interested in ERP. (I am fine is she gets involved! However, I want a fade-to-black.) Killing my character. (I won't allow for my character to be killed unless I say otherwise.) Complete breakage of lore. "Well, looks like you got what you expected, huh? Dacein and I came, heheh." Rihxo stood up now, reaching her arms above her head to stretch. She'd grab her tin of chocolates and pop one in her mouth before moving to join the two men by the fire. "I'm pretty glad I ran into you two. I'd probably still be wandering if I didn't!"

Rihxo's one eye widened as there was suddenly a blade right in front of her face. Immediately her tail fluffed up considerably. She'd let out a sigh of relief when she was Dacein's face crack a smile. "Oh, gods, you scared me for a second! But no. I'm not a pirate. Pirates are, generally, not known for their chocolate-making skills. I think. They aren't, right?" She'd blink a couple times before shaking her head. Her tail swished about anxiously, but she seemed to have calmed a bit. Her ear flicked, and she looked over at Aiswynd. "I suppose you're right on that, but the rogue's guild isn't -always- bad. I've thought about picking something up from them, too." She'd shrug a shoulder before popping a chocolate in her mouth, emerald eye studying at the two men curiously.

Rihxo smiled, blushing slightly. She wasn't used to this sort of praise, even about her chocolates. "Thank you both so much! To be honest, we have been considering doing something like that. But we all want to get better with things before we go off running a business." She'd giggle lightly. "In any case, please come find us in the Wench next time you're in Limsa! We all look very similar, so don't worry about finding us, hee hee." She'd look up at Aiswynd. "I'm okay for now. I've been kind of sort of snacking the whole time I was out wandering." 'Kind of sort of' probably meant 'definitely' in this case, but... well, whatever, right?

Rihxo hugged her legs as she laid in bed. Even though it had been an incredibly long day, something tugged at the back of her mind. Her exhausted body begged for rest, but her mind wouldn't allow it. She'd force herself to sit up, the covers sliding easily over the thin silken nightgown she wore. Her left hand would raise to her left eye, rubbing at the scar tissue that had long since turned white. She'd look out the window at the moon shining in with a frown. Something was keeping her on edge. Perhaps someone. Definitely someone, now that she put her mind to it. Someone had paid the Maelstrom a ridiculous amount of gil to protect her. To make sure nothing could happen to her. But why? And who could it possibly be? She put her face in her hands. It didn't help she'd been assigned quite possibly the strangest and most glowy guardian ever. Coming back home to be reminded at lance-point to protect your neck was one of the weirder parts of her day. She'd let out a sigh, her body falling back against her bed. At least she was still alive and kicking.

((*trips* SORRY FOR MY LATE REPLY HNNG.)) Rihxo smiled as he took a chocolate. As she closed the tin, placing it in her lap, she'd first address the Au Ra who had spoken up. "Hi there! I'm not sure if you heard me earlier, but my name's Rihxo. As for getting the rest of the way to Gridania, I'll be stopping for the night anyway. Thanks for the advice, though!" She'd turn her attention back to Dacein. "Actually, no, I was born in Limsa Lominsa! We still live there, me and my three sisters - Rhoxi, Ratoh, and Rahwa. They're probably whipping up something sweet like these chocolates for when I get back." She'd pause for a second. "Oh, those chocolates are homemade, by the way. We all love baking, making sweets - so that's what we do. It's a little taste of home, y'know?"
