Villains! Yes, love this thread! I already have two groups in the works. 1st - The Zaluchi Crime Family. I've always enjoyed the Godfather, and so I'm attempting to create several families with other players. As they are sophisticated criminals, they don't look all that evil, though they wouldn't think twice about removing anyone. Hitman - J'avik Mald Advisor - Titus Plautus The Boss - Gioluchi Zaluchi 2nd - Roving groups of assassins or ronin ninja/samurai are always fun to see in anime/manga, so I created my own group. As is always the case, each member specializes in a specific martial art. Since the CC has come out I've been playing around with it quite a bit. A number of us are planning on creating our own "up and coming" mini Syndicate in Ul'dah based on the Five Families of New York (mobsters/Godfather style). The only catch is that we're all going to be Lalafell. We're looking for a few more people to fill the roles of the 'heads' of the families and others who would like to RP as bodyguards, consiglieres, and hitmen. Details: Family Leader - Prefer to be a Lalafell (gender not important) Choose a colour that will be your family colour and represent it by way of hair colour and primary RP clothing (eye colour is also an idea) Do not have to be from Ul'dah, but come up with ties to starting city (as in, you have some kind of criminal connections there) Select a class (we're trying to not all be the same, but this is not necessary, just choose one you want to play) Details: Family 'Members' - Any race/class is accepted (gender not important) Speak to a Family Leader of whom you would like to work for and discuss what position you would like to be Depending on the Family you join, create a primary RP clothing set of the appropriate colour to represent your Family If you'd like more info or would like to take part, PM me or come an join us on the Gilgamesh Event Planning/OOC Skype chat.

From the little I know, I believe it will be the 'between'. The main building will need purchasing (3 sizes) but the interior decorations and the like can be made by crafters or (I"m assuming) bought from NPCs.

Remembered that personal houses will be quite expensive when they come out at launch. It seems that people want the Wolf's Den to be a physical place in Ul'dah and not simply a Skype chat channel. This brings up the question - How am I to afford this? Since I will be starting a new character like the vast majority of you, I will not have the funds to simply buy property and set up the Den. For those who want this physical place to hold RP events, or just hang out in your questing down time I put forward a second question - Would you be willing to donate to the creation of the Wolf's Den? I'm not asking for specific amount of gil (seeing as we don't know how much gil we'll be getting from quests or how exactly expensive the houses will be - or what size of place Gilgamesh players want the Den to be.) I am not opposed to hosting fund raising events and the like. If you have any thoughts or ideas regarding this please leave a comment or PM me!

After phase 3 ended I finally decided which server I would choose to be on - I ended up with both. I can create characters, hangout and get involved with the Legacy players on Balmung. But! I can also give my support to those starting up on Gilgamesh, going so far as creating a Gilgamesh version of Soliloquy dubbed the Wolf's Den. If anyone is still contemplating which server to choose, perhaps making at least one character on each server to experience both sides may be the best answer.

I suppose I could throw my hat in for this idea as the owner of the Wolf's Den - guilds will be able to utilize the Skype chat as well as the 'house' (when purchased) as a place to meet. Skype - Giovanni Zaluchi

The Den's Skype chat is up and running and already has a 7-8 members. As in my above post I will be coming up with a general layout of the interior and will be linking the owner's wiki page when I have more of it completed. I am planning on formally opening the Wolf's Den this weekend via the chat and would welcome all those willing to come and participate. I am also still looking for people who wish to 'work' in the Den. For now, please keep PMing me or posting your Skype info in the thread if you wish to join the chat. The owner, Parker McConnor, will have received the deed to the establishment after the passing of her father. Employees will be needed, as well as 1-2 'share holders' to run the place if I'm unable to do to school/life. Hey Rock, I'm planning on splitting my time between Balmung and Gilgamesh. I was wondering if you may be thinking of creating and IC skype chat channel like Balmung has Sililoquy. Would give ppl rolling on Gilgamesh something to do while we wait for phase 4 and launch as well as give new ppl a chance to try out their rping and characters. You could open up a bar/tavern like Silioquy or some kind of inn. Would definitely like to see this happen and would very much like to join in as an employee of some kind with my Gilgamesh characters.

I will definitely be using my minions ICly (as long as they pertain to the character). My Seeker pugilist uses her cherry bomb as a light at night to keep her awake in place of the sun or for looking in dark areas (so it's a nightlight). My conjurer works as a messenger and uses her mammet to carry smaller objects.

I'll be there, just not sure what character to bring - either Sigyn (20 CNJ) or H'uang (16 PUG).

If what you're saying is right Ashran, then I'm very excited to check out the retainers. I got one character through the story enough in this beta that I could hire one, and went to do so. I stopped when it asked me to NAME the retainer. I happily walked away thinking how I could add this new retainer to my character's rp background in some way (which meant I needed a good name) and so I didn't hire them. The other thing that made me think was seeing a picture of several retainers of different races and when given the option to name one I didn't know which race I was going to be getting. If we can choose race or even customize them at a later date that would be fantastic.
