Final Sign-Ups is going to be tomorrow by 6:30 PM Eastern Time. All other signs ups will be closed by then. All participants must show up by 8 PM Eastern time to know your opponent team and also to finalize your sign ups for the tournament!

If things get really complicated, I'll have to make it into 2v2 type of match with the way it's going. There is still a person who is looking for a team, so I'll talk to that person if you'd like to have him/her. Perhaps 2v2 Tag match will make it feel better I suppose?

Having unique talent is nice, but if it's too unique to have the ability like Nael van Darnus or Warrior of Light is just a bit too extreme for any characters. While we understand that one are always concerned that someone will kill off their character that they worked on - we are all players. We will not insta kill anyone unless the player agrees to it. Besides the point, I've mentioned privately to you that Rena started off with Eorzean character and if you want Rena to be Doman just to become a Ninja by changing off the entire story... then that's just not a good excuse There are now plenty of Doman characters (who created their characters from the start to be Domans). So you can either learn from them and Doman culture if that's what you wish. Even White Magics are confirmed to learn and use by breaking the rules and cast them outside of Shrouds and elements. Family decimation is fine. There are plenty of families that were killed probably in Ala Mhigo anyways and chances are that your family is one of them. Or Calamity too. What Warren said, aether explosions and mysterious birth conditions can be avoided. Aether explosion in theory... characters will degenerate into multiple molecular cells if that happened. Edit: Retconning is nice and all, but if Rena -did- meet a lot of characters too much. It'll be hard for everyone to be adjusted. I did say that retcon should be allowed, but depending on how big the retcon is. Anelia being retconned regarding her position as a Sultansworn (formerly captain) was because we Sultansworns in LS agreed that we'd leave it as equal position. Which is an okay retcon. But if we retcon entire story of Anelia, like she never met anyone - it'd be like A Realm Reborn 2.0 beginning where no one can remember who the Warriors of Lights' names are. We'd just refer to them as WoL.

I have no qualms about DRK being a tank. Honestly, the game needs more tank classes and caster classes and healing classes. But the biggest issue I had was really the gunner class. But I think it'll be hinted during December so I don't mind.

I am Rather surprised that no one has mentioned about one part of housing at all. I guess people are satisfied that the wards will have sub division areas now then.

I guess I'll have to wait for December to hear about gunner class. Sigh . Dark knight does not really excite me as everyone else ;-;. But I wonder if samurais are going to be tank or dps...

Anyways, the Doma existed in FF6 with reference of Murakumo, Masamune (from FF13-2 knowledge) and samurai as a castle without machine and empire's influence. However FF14 does state that (I am pretty sure it does), Garleans have invaded Doma. Now, even if Cyan was not really holding Japanese name, he was a samurai and Doma guards were wearing Ninja outfit styles like Yugiri in FF14. FF14's Tatami Mat also states in game that it is from Doma and also keep in mind that Tatami mats are all Japanese "People hailing from the Far East claim that wishes written on small slips of parchment and tied to the bamboo will come true. (Magical wish parchment sold separately.)" Now, the description above is Ornamental Bamboo for outdoor furnishing. Open Hearth for furnishing item is also part of Japanese culture too. I mean, the game furnishing does hint these items to exist as Japanese culture oriented in far east. It's really easy to assume that they may hold Japanese names and some may not. Like Sounsyy said, despite that he/she is lore expert than any of us - I don't see what's really hurting any of us to roleplay as a character that we want. There are plenty of new Roleplayers who have never done roleplaying and are trying out by making up their story to fit with 2.0's story mode given to them - or even any roleplayers who just want to enjoy what they want to do really. Can't really just brush everyone off and say that they are not good RPers. All aside, I think these items above have proven enough for Japanese culture to assume that they may have Japanese names. NPCs for Ninja characters have confirmed with the name of Oboro, and Tsubame. The names are Japanese. So people aren't just making it up, but it's a very accurate assumption and that their guesses have been much correct as of right now.
