  1. Well, I mean if everyone did have their own house when they are in FC and the FC has house, people would just go to their own. But I am not the developer of FF14. I am sure Yoshida probably felt really bad about announcing such disappointment news and he probably didn't want to make a lot of excuse.
  2. I'd like believe that it was more of they were trying to satisfy their members game capacity was forbidding them . I am disappointed too , but they probably have good reason to it
  3. To think I'd wake up this early for this besides me buying Kamen Rider belts....well played Yoshida and SQEnix
  4. Bought Mine (For FC, not myself) - Mist 7th Ward.... Plot 5.
  5. eff it. Mist it is. I'll see you all in Neverland! *buying for her friends *
  6. I guess I'd like to believe that what he wanted to say was: "What's the point of having free company house if everyone is going to hang out in their own individual house?" But I could be wrong because google translate is derping mad hard. But if the statement above is true, I can understand him 100%. Should everyone buy their own house, no one is going to visit FC house at all no matter how big it is.
  7. Soo guys.... Mist or Goblet in Ward 7?
  8. I don't know why I ever believed that they would be honest with us. I don't think they ever intended to actually implement personal housing at this point. I remember I said looooong time ago that they'd attempt to price as expensive as FC houses and everyone thought I was insane in this VERY forum and my prophecy was true. So, yeah. Good game
  9. So wait, then who existed before? The Amdapor white mages or Allagan ancestors? I feel like they both were existing at same time period but I could be wrong.
  10. So I suppose Padjals lived in Amdapor Keep and Amdapor City until they messed up? Unless I am getting the story wrong here, since by my knowledge Seedseers/Padjals seem to be the ones who turned Amdapor into ruins.
  11. While Anelia was back in Ul'dah to settle the matter against unknown attacks in the Ossuary, she wakes up and rubbed her forehead. She checks her wound on her side carefully, and notices that the cut was no longer swollen or showing any sign of particular deep scar. She takes off her bandages and notices that all of minor cuts were gone, thanks to the conjurer that was with her at the Ossuary. The whole situation about her family bloodline was also a mess too. Overall people, she never thought she was partially a Highlander. At least, she thinks her parents lied to her or she never really asked about their family ancestry. It was rather a shocker when she discussed with Erik and she sighed about it. Another issue was that Anelia was really concerned about Natalie pursing Nero. If she kept trying to stop Natalie from attacking a pirate that is no longer a threat to Ul'dah as of right now, she maybe challenging Syndicate's authority. But her heart remains as she is there for Ul'dah and Sultansworn's interests... and as a paladin's code. She stares at the window, unsure of what to do. But she remembers what Erik has told her to go with whatever she believes in. She knew that as long as she is a Sultansworn and she is working under Ul'dah's politics, she has to comply to the order she's given by them. Even if it may be considered as a sinner's blade. Anelia receives a letter from the Syndicates for a small council. Perhaps it maybe related to Lazarus, and this time - she cannot have any other choice but to side with Natalie to arrest the man into justice. This could also mean she has to deal with her former friend Roen to resent her more. 'Why did you come back? Ul'dah is now a corrupted place.' The statements made by Erik while she was gone, made her wonder if being a Sultansworn was the rightful choice in Anelia's life. She came back to hope to correct the wrong doings of politics and show people the rightful justice. She obviously chose her path wrong. She also wondered if Coatleque be upset should she leave Sultansworn. Would it be similar to how Roen saw in Anelia? Leaving her behind without any words or at least thought to be dismissed? '....Probably not.' She thought for a bit like that, to see if Coatleque would be upset if Anelia resigned. The red haired highlander paladin was steadfast to Ul'dah. She probably doesn't like Anelia challenging the politics and authority a lot, or at least the way she fights too. She couldn't cry, but just feel disappointed regarding everything happening around here. She basically have decided that if she left, she will leave with a resolved mind without looking back. But until then, she will remain as Sultansworn and protect Ul'dah. She sighed as she dresses up with her armor and heads to the Husting Strip to discuss the matter with Syndicates.
  12. Even though I noticed that no one was actually tending to your wounds or any other people as well (I think it's also because there were literally too many people in there with non-participants too) so the logs have just clumped up that they probably didn't notice reading yours too I have no excuse on the matter for this, I personally had to go OOCly so I had to cut my dialogues with Erik, Meta and Lilith (and also I didnt talk with the rest either) but I admit I should also have said something about your character requiring to treat wounds. So I'll apologize for that. If there were people who were chatting ICly for events and you are also chatting through LS/FC, I suggest you to at least set up your chat settings to only allow /say and /em and not anything else. Because chances are that your LS/FC chats are spamming up the chat log.
  13. Cool! So it won't hurt at all. Thanks for the heads up! also, dat new chapter of Naruto.
  14. o/ Hi - it was me. But I'll probably pursue the assassin to make sure he'll stay in the gaols for the rest of his life. There will not be any assassination in my town! *loads a shotgun*
  15. Anelia just couldn't sleep for several days because of Natalie's interrogation and Roen's grudge with her. Among with all of this case was all due to one particular person, Nero Lazarus She is not sure who the man is, but she is aware that the man is responsible for making monetarists upset. She feels that even though the man maybe a smuggler and a pirate, he could be a great asset to possibly push back the monetarists from gaining power over Royalists. Anelia also feels worried by Natalie's actions from the interrogation. She understood that what the Miqo'te Sultansworn had to do was necessary by the order that was given to her and Anelia. But her feelings toward this order was not at ease in her heart. She felt extremely guilty towards Roen that she couldn't do anything again, and she is concerned that Coatleque won't be enough to stop unnecessary bloodshed. She needed to make a decision once more. Syndicates who have ordered Natalie were possibly monetarists who want this man dead for personal reason. The crimes didn't seem to be extremely high enough for a death penalty for him, and the first mate. She remembered she ordered Crofte to arrest Roen should the young paladin points a blade at the Sworn, but that's the last thing she wants to happen. The only way Anelia could do is to get in touch with the man behind all of this. She packs up from her room with her former wig and her goggles to disguise herself as Marila Averlyn, a wandering mercenary to monitor all of this without being seen. As long as Coatleque would not find her.
  16. Aaaat this point, I'll consider it as my character has no issue whatsoever and might actually consider pursuing this background if that's the case. But if anything does occur, please be sure to post back in this thread at anytime.
  17. I think Robin Hood is actually a good example of how a thief can be labeled as a hero. But honestly, I feel that rogues sound better than thieves because it has more wider option and perspective on what kind of occupation you'd have as a rogue. You can be assassin rogue type, or stealing rogue type (in this case, it'd be thief. literally.) - Rogues can also be vigilantes easily comparing to pugilists, or archers (unless you want to be Green Arrow and like to shout "PLAYER, YOU HAVE FAILED THIS CITY") However, rogue type of characters were always the "hero" for locals and criminals, depending on what kind of path you choose. To be like Robin Hood, or become just a master thief, become Ezio Auditore, or just a scoundrel that likes to bully people. I am sure some RPers don't just want to be called thieves for their created characters, but rather "rebel" type, like rogue. For ninja and thief analogy, just because Goemon historically was a thief and a ninja, doesn't mean all ninjas are thieves. Ninjas were rather assassin type and spies. They would rather fit for Rogue type.
  18. Greetings to all! My character named Mizuho Mitarashi requires some advice and improvements for the upcoming patch 2.4 ((Please keep in mind that I have not done 2.1-2.3 Plot based Story Mode Quest. I'll get to it soon, but I'd like someone who can assist me with this and brief me easily.)) As far as I know, Yugiri is like the only well known ninja in the story so far. But my character Mizuho is midlander looking Asian esque character from Far East. However, there has never been actual confirmation whether the people from Far East are only stricted to races like Yugiri. Should I be concerned? Or should I always change the character looks and retcon it if it is confirmed that Far East doesn't have any type of Hyur characters? Click Here For Mizuho's Basic Description Above From this, do you think the background is original enough to be accepted? I am pursuing Mizuho to be mostly specialized in Samurai (But we know that job won't be out for a long time), and Ninja class. As of right now, her current background is that she is using a spear for practices, but she can use fists when needed too. ((Of course, it seems like she knows too much - but I think it'll do for her Far East originality)) Also please go forbid do not look down on Mizuho's character chart if you feel that I am too weaboo to make her own skills. It'll probably be non-canon anyways and just as a hobby practice for my kanji. Please give any advice. Also I intend to push this character to have her own backgrounds in terms of character development among Eorzea. P.S. --- Inb4someone brings up Naruto ._.
  19. Anelia stops drinking for a moment, and dropped her papers to the table after the man next to her asked a question regarding salt shaker. 'Is the man just trying to start a conversation?' But then again, she was too drawn into her paper works and her drinks. So she ended up thinking the man probably needed the shaker. She paused for a bit, but shook her head lightly and grabbed the salt shaker from her table. She lightly bows her head down and hands it to the man with two hands. "Here you go, sir. I don't really need it for any purposes, so you can leave it on that table. Do you need other condiments for your food?"
  20. ((The following is a side story in between where it'll take place in Quicksand, where Anelia has severe drinking problems, and her consistent depression that she is unable to talk to anyone. Anyone is welcomed. - To a point this is rather a story development than a social talk.)) It's been three months since Anelia was haunted by the deaths of her siblings, and it had been five day since she was restless due to load of paper works that were piling up on top of her desk. The only thing you'd see in her office are plenty of empty alcohol bottles around the floor and her desk, and also plenty of unorganized papers. The one who keeps everything organized, and who used to vow on the sobriety to prevent herself from drinking has broken her personal rules. She takes a deep sigh and picks up her papers from the floor and stares at it. Cases reported by Ser Natalie Mcbeef, and other cases reported by Ser Coatleque Crofte, and by herself. She narrowed her eyes and frowned at all of the incidents that has happened. She wondered if what she is doing is the right thing to do. She basically had been making severe mistakes as a Sultansworn, and as a leader. In result, there were casualties on both sides. She wanted to protect both sides if she could, but in the end - her decision has been nothing but hurt both sides. She spoke with her superior Captain Jenlyns Straightblade for counseling, and the only statement he gave to her was, "You are a second base ranked captain, Anelia. You should start behaving like one and show an example to people, not ask lower authorities what you should do." It probably was true. She isn't a lost child anymore, and she should be making the right decision and stick with it. The idealist paladin realizes that peace between both sides will never happen, and paladins and Sultansworns should endure all the pains and sufferings that will come to them. She closes her eyes and grabs all of the reports and walks down to Quicksand for drinks. For considerable amount of thinking, Anelia remembered her friend Mizuho's statement long time ago where she has said along with the line of, "You cannot save everyone, Anelia." Perhaps what everyone was saying is right, about how they have said she has been having childish dreams and not seeing the reality. Is it wrong for Anelia to dream such ideals? Does she really need to see someone die to save another? She also has the urge of bloodlust in her due to the wars and battles she encountered, and she realizes that the leash she has set in her will break eventually and she'd be out of control. All the self-denials, and self-restrained emotions will eventually break down. She felt insecure, and she felt distant towards others. 'Would it feel better if I actually didn't deny my lust for battle?' She shook her head after thinking about it. 'No. Anelia, you are a Sultansworn and a paladin. You can get through this restrained emotions.' While she's sitting down, she asked for two bottles of Drybone whiskey for herself. She drinks consistently while reading her reports. As she's drinking consistently, she starts to remember her two siblings; Fiore and Aurenn dying in her eyes along with her comrades.
  21. [spoiler=] Partial concept idea of Sadowyn Chronicles that I am writing. It's a scene during Anelia's fight in Carteneau against small elite group of Garleans.
  22. I will be there! As long as I know what time it is ><:;
  23. Sure! Let me know if you finalized your decisions.
  24. Due to Anelia's backgrounds, she could have been 1st Lieutenant in logic wise. But now that Kale has mentioned about this regarding everyone being lieutenants, I am not sure if I want to put myself to any part of rank in Immortal Flame and try to figure something out to make it work with players. Because I think being in a pretty high ranked Sultansworn is enough as it is. Though it is enough debatable that should we let people gain highest rank (Erik being exception because plot of his does support it), it'll just not be fun as it'll be. But in the end, it's your character and what you want to do. We all can work it out to make it fair for everyone else and be happy. That's why there is now a SS/BB/IF directory thread for you to make yourself known of which rank you are!
