This really needs to change. The I.F. are a military, not a law enforcement, organization. Goes against logic to have their LS be dedicated to cross-service law enforcement. Yes, I am going to nag and nag and nag about this every time and everywhere it comes up until something is done about it. Waaaa, don't yell at me ;-; I was just told it was like that!

I don't disagree with Kale regarding to everyone claiming 2nd Lt because the game gives them the option to do so. But I think it's possible for sergeants or regular officers not officially Lt can wear bucket head and thick jacket? Honestly... they actually look more like a police officer outfit than a high ranked military officer outfit. But I find that it'd be rather interesting to play as Sergeant and Private too. Privates can be pretty bad ass.

Back in FFXI, there were plenty of DAT modders who actually tweaked the game to change your game musics, change your model skins and interface art changes. However, for FFXIV - the players are still working on new mods for players to enjoy. However DATs are much harder to mod than WoW.

That's one thing, Quicksand is a very good spot for me to start any conversations with anyone. But sometime depending on your alignment and your character's backgrounds - it can be discomforting for the other characters (ICly, not OOCly). But also I try not to rely on Quicksand too much because it will make me feel like I'll be stuck there for the rest of my life. But I am listening to everyone's suggestions and advice very willingly and heartedly. Warren and Roen and Askier's suggestions were very helpful too. I'd also would like to meet Ragnar in the future when I do run into him. Despite that warrior looking characters always intimidate me

Welcome back! Hope you can at least create a character by 9 AM EST, that's when restriction usually lifts since not a lot of players play.

Feel free to fill me in for this plot related if you want some kind of rivalry approach. I know Crofte has offer her lawful side, I also would like to join in to fight as Anelia for justice based character against the dark side. (doesn't always mean good guys always win though!) Would be pretty interesting to see how that appears, but this thread is definitely needed since there are more of good guys than bad guys.

I personally found it to be more interesting for me to go to the loyal knight path instead of desperate bandit path. Feel free to drop any suggestions though!

I'll definitely take your word on it, I had been reading that other thread before and I really want to get involved. I wasn't sure if I should be involved since a lot of you guys had things planned before I could even ask questions about it Trying to do that most of the time, but everyone sure does want a piece of Crofte . So it's really tough on this situation. I'll have to bother her eventually.

I honestly won't deny that I am over-thinking as of right now. But I've had that moments for past few weeks that I wasn't sure if I should get involved in some RPs or not since I have not been online in such a long time. But I do agree with you that meeting more people and get in contact with them is one way to improve myself. I think I went out of RP too long to actually have proper decision. (back to the drawing board and Roleplaying 101 course)

Now before anyone might strangle at me or choke me down for sharing my opinion on how I see in RP at the moment, please do not get a wrong idea. Because I don't want to make a drama when I was not intentionally doing it >.< I really want an advice and some suggestions to hear multiple people's opinions on this than getting angry and have this thread closed. I've been missing out since 2.2 and at least from 2.1 to 2.2, I have not done RP a lot due to end-games and Atma hunting and that drew me away from roleplaying most of the time. I went hiatus because I wanted to take a break, and I had no money to play the game financially during the time so that was additional few months. - A lot has changed with many people and people's interaction and their view on RP and OOCly have changed drastically and I felt extremely left out and unsure what I should do. I feel distant on some term, but it's not convincing enough for me to quit this game because I do like the game aside from RP. Though I need to kind of require myself to get involved and be the one to be initiative and it just isn't easy at the moment since everyone seems to be doing their own things, such as they are already in a plot that they are progressing. I am trying to go back into RP, but there are many things I've missed and I've been tracking everyone's Wiki and some IC forum thread to see what their plots are, but it's not easy for me to get into anyone's circle and be involved because I've been missing out and I am back to my "shy" version since I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I did make a Making Connection thread, hoping that it might actually push me to RP more frequently than ever. Should I require newer friends, I can do that too. However, any advice or suggestion would be great for me to get into other people's story or mine too. Again, I am not trying to accuse anyone or choke anyone here for my isolation right now. I just need a better suggestion to resolve this, so I'd appreciate it if you'd really have the time to throw in some response to help me out here. Thanks! After meeting some new RPers, making new connections and meeting old friends ICly, Anelia's characteristics require a bit more character changes as time passes by. She maybe a Sultansworn, but as she meets more people around Ul'dah and other places, anything can happen to change her destiny as a paladin. Plots that hasn't been revealed about herself are the followings, and I'd require advice and assistance to drive this arc for her: Her hidden truth about her and her family. Regarding her being half-blood to the Highlanders and Ala Mhigo. Her pressures as a Sultansworn due to many political authorities slamming on her. Her ideals vs The politics. Her being the instructor of many students could change her course of being more lenient and understanding as time passes by. Her past memories as a child, when she became an orphan in Ul'dah - she requires plenty of childhood friends. Who may have became bandits, cultists, or even Brass Blade or any type of character (that may have moved to Gridania or Limsa too). - Who can be friends reunited once more, or become rivals. Relationships are still on the question. Definitely out in the blank right there. I haven't thought about it, but suggestions or any ideas would be nice. Personality character change development is needed, and should any old acquaintances want to have Anelia involved in their IC events or any story - I'd love to join in and be involved. What you all need to know at least is that Anelia is good aligned character - and that would not change anything much. She likes to keep her three virtues: respect, tenacity and compassion at all costs. So asking her to become a perfect villain or Ascian cultist is out of the question. But temporary corruption by mind-control or something would be interesting course of the story! Feel free to post here and PM me. Because I really want to push myself to do more RP if possible.
