I played an Archer up to level 31 and I found the learning curve pretty smooth. I'm not sure what priority queue rotation is. But the rotation I used for my Archer was pretty simple, though I did have an issue with out-DPSing the tanks on occasion. The THM I only played to level 16, I had a bumpy start with them but once I got into the correct rhythm with them they became a lot easier. I agree with what FreelanceWizard said. The LNC I played to level 2 so I can't help you there.

Awesome, meaning of life I can do.

This sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I would love to be apart of this. I don't think seasonal sounds like to often at all. If you need help with any set up or other details I would also be more then happy to lend a hand.

Hi! *waves* welcome officially to the RPC. FFVIII was also one of my first RPGs as well . Though I have to admit I never actually finished the game. I got mauled in the final battle by Griever, it was painful. Couple hours of retrying I finally quit and watched the ending cut scene when my brother finished the game. If you have any question about anything (except math, I hate math. Should learn to solve its own problems) or just wanna chat feel free to pm me.

Umbral Era. Yes. That isn't really a question. Y'sehr stole all the pants, so probably not. I did. Sorry, was trying to find out what the hype was with standing up while tinkling. Also this. Does this mean I win interwebz? <*.*>

Thank you! Thanks I wasn't sure about doing the flower 'thing' it's pretty different from how I normally write. I haven't really done any serious writing in a few years, so I was kind of nervous about posting this. Especially with all the amazing writers that are on the forum. I think this ended up more descriptive then my past stuff.

Got bored, made new banners

Ah found it! I had moved it into another folder

I can tell you that during the main story line during the big ceremony thing with the leaders of the grand companies making their speeches, that the Flame General Raubahn Aldynn says that we are in the fifth year of the Umbral Age. Unfortunately while cleaning out my FRAPs folder I deleted the screenshot. But I know with 100% certainty (unless SE changes the dialogue come phase 4) that the General says fifth year of the Umbral Era.

I would be delighted to help out with this. I wouldn't be very good in writing anything into the wiki but I'm pretty good at finding obscure information.

I can't really say to much on any lore, most of my lore knowledge is of the area's outside the three main city states. But I like the character background, especially the way you choose to name your Miqo'te.The whole thing seems pretty well thought out. Your character grew up in Limsa Lominsa? My character moved to upper La Noscea when she was in her teens, maybe they've run into each other in the past I also like your ideas, on future arcs. I look forward to seeing how your characters story unfolds.

I personally use Daz Studio and PaintNet to do mine. I am currently taking a class on Photoshop so I might start using that. But at the moment just Daz and PaintNet.

I also make my banner, mostly when I get bored and need something to do. Not nearly as good as some of the banners here, But I would very much enjoy making a banner for you if you like.

Padjal are mysterious figures in Gridanian culture in Final Fantasy XIV. They are seemingly unaging children born from normal people (likely exclusively Hyur) in the Twelveswood. Every Padjal has thin horns growing directly outward, and is gifted with powerful Conjury. As soon as a child is confirmed a Padjal, he or she is indoctrinated into Stillglade Fane. Padjal typically become mentors to other Conjurers, if not members of Gridania's government. E-Sumi-Yan is the master of the Conjurer's Guild at Stillglade Fane, and Kan-E-Senna leads the Order of the Twin Adder. Trivia: As the equivalent of real-world holy men and women, they are often referred to as "Brother" or "Sister". They do not use the titles "Father" or "Mother." This could possibly indicate that they are eternally children. If they are indeed ageless then it becomes unlikely that the Padjal themselves can ever reproduce, being biologically too young to be fertile. Ok ... I'm just going to do. Yes ... no, wait. *flees back to corner* It's not ready yet. Gah fine, ok here it is. Dustyn's story. Kind of like what I posted in "The Story So Far Part 2" but expanded on and somethings changed. Feel free to comment or what nots and gum drops. *Hides back in corner* _______________________________________________________________ A single flower stood tall against the onslaught that marred the once peaceful and quiet landscape. All around it sat craters and shrapnel, footprints tracked through mud soaked by blood. Tremors rocked the dirt underneath it threatening to knock the small plant loose, but it's roots were deep and it would not give up its delicate hold. A foot lands just to the left of the flower another to the right, followed by a pair of knees crashing harshly into the dirt. A hand still clutching a long bow braced itself against the ground while the other pressed tightly against the stomach of the bent figure. A warm red liquid trailed between fingers to the ground below, some landing on the lone flower causing it to bend under the added weight. The figure, a small miqo'te archer grunted softly, clenching her jaw as she forced herself upright, her feet digging deeply into the ground. She reached back over her shoulder pulling an arrow from her nearly empty quiver, notching it against the bow string. Her hands shook with exhaustion as she pulled the string taut, the wood bending under the pressure before snapping back as the string was released and the arrow launched. She grasped another arrow slipping easily into a rhythm taught to her long ago, "Notch, draw …" "and release." her teacher recited. "Don't you need to aim." The old veteran chuckled softly, "Yes little one. You do, however ..." He walked over to the seven year old adjusting her elbow slightly as she drew her bow. "In a real battle your enemy will not wait for you to line up your shot. Shoot for center mass, it is the largest part of the body and the hardest to miss." He took a step back and waited for her to fire, "you're still taking too long to aim. Trust your eyes they know where the arrow must go. It should be one single motion ..." "I know. Notch, draw ... " "Release." her arrow buried itself deep into the chest of another garlean soldier. A flash of silver caught her eye and she quickly dropped to the ground. Her hat flew off as it's brim was caught on the blade aimed for her head. She rolled backwards attempting to put some distance between her and her attacker but the soldier pressed the advantage. The man swung his sword quickly, pushing forward giving her no time to ready her own weapon. Her feet tangled under her causing her to take her eyes off the garlean for a split second as she fought to keep her balance. Turning back she saw the sword coming down at her and a flash of blue race past her. The soldier froze mid action encased in ice. She silently thanked the mage and prepared to deliver the final blow. As her fingers released the bow string a loud crash filled the air and a shockwave threw her and those around to the ground. She looked up just in time to see the sky glow a bright red as Dalamud cracked and finally explode. Time seemed to stand still as she watched the large primal set fire to the world, destroying everything in it’s path. Both Garlean or Eorzean alike felt it’s wrath. She watched as shield spells burst to life, cracked, and shattered in a matter of mere moments. Part of her mind screamed at her to run, that there was nothing she could do against the creature. But her feet remained planted firmly in the mud, her eyes transfixed on a sight that was almost as breathtaking as it was destructive. She faintly recalled people mentioning how when faced with death their life would flash before their eyes or they would think about their loved ones. But standing there, watching Bahamut set fire to the world, she couldn’t help think about how incredibly wet her socks were. It was like having miniature oceans in her boots and she didn’t even want to think about what they were wet with, cause she was pretty sure it wasn’t water. At least not exclusively. She wasn’t even suppose to be here. She had come looking for her father. Finding him just the day prior with the intention of joining the battle. Her father had told her to return home, that the fight would be too dangerous, but she refused. She would not let her father march into battle alone, but in the chaos of the fighting they had become separated and now she no longer knew if the he yet lived. A large explosion pulled her from her thoughts, she could feel the heat of the primal’s attacks searing against her skin as they crashed into the ground. A failed summoning of the twelve only seemed to have angered it more, her hand tightened around the bow as she waited for the end to come. A blue light burst up around her causing her to stumble backwards in shock, her foot dragging over the soil pressing the blood stained flower against the mud. Then just as quickly as it came the blue light disappeared taking the small archer with it. Freed from the weight pressing down on it the small plant pulled itself from the muck, battered and crushed it stood bravely until, finally in a shower of fire and stone it to joined the ever growing list of casualties from the Battle of Carteneau Flats.

100 Questions to Ask About Your Role-Playing Character
Nova replied to Vash's topic in Character Workshop
Ok this took me forever to finally finish, but it's done. ICly there are a LOT of questions Dustyn would never answer ... so ya ... lol A small Miqo'te walks into the tavern shaking rain water from her hair as she sat down stiffly across from the interviewer. She gave a tight smile, hoping that this favor would now make her and Nova even. -
whoa whoa ... one subject per thread man. You'll confuse some of us with all your crazy ... words ... and ... sentences. Welcome to RPC! If you have any questions feel free to ask around or PM if your shy.

So I have a question for the masses. This is mostly for the people RPing a time jumper, HOWEVER, if you're a none time jumper and you have an opinion/idea/comment/ anything else you might want to add. Please post, your words feed my plot for world domination. Anywho. My question. So your character is in the battle of Carteneau watching Bahamut throw an apocalypse size hissy fit. They are probably thinking they are about to die, then there is a flash of blue and suddenly there is no longer death, destruction, or the oh so distinctive smell of burnt ... uhh ... everything. So how does your character react. Or the better question how will you RPs the reaction? Do they know they time jumped? Will they panic when the first reappear? When someone tells them it's 1577 will they believe them? For Dustyn when she first reappeared in a field outside Gridania. Elkabong's character came up behind her and she shot him ... twice. And then she passed out from her injuries. She is now having a hard time believing she is missing five years of time, only having a strangers word to go by. Ok I hope this question made sense ... I tend to ramble incoherently and it probably doesn't help that I took sleepy time drugs about 15 minutes ago. Mmm sleep.

Welcome to RPC! You live rather close to where my fiancee and I are moving too in Aug. He also has a daughter, though she is 7 now. I'm in the process of training her to be my evil apprentice. It's going well. Elkabong (Whom I am sure is lurking around the forums here somewhere) also runs a 3.5 campaign right now up where he lives. If you ever want to chat feel free to hit me up on gchat () or skype (sapphire584) I look forward to seeing you in game and hope we get to RP.
