The miqo'te watched the exchange. Her blue eyes narrowed as the insults came rolling in. Shina held respect for the Sultana and knew the reputation of the Lady Knight. Only tension came and soon things got heated and the Brass Blades started their way in. Quickly eyes scanned the crowd and she looked to a Hyur child, a refugee by her clothes had gotten his way through. She shifts and presses a hand to the boy's shoulder. His green eyes looking up at her in awe before the escape was implemented. Smoke filled and many grew disoriented. The tension causing violence. Shina curled herself over the boy to keep him from being jostled. Shouts erupting and she lifted him up and used her small size to help her through the crowd. Once the smoke had thinned she coughed out for the boy to run and he did so without hesitation. She straightened up and turned to look to where chaos ensued. "Twelve watch over us... I need to tell Mister Locke."

The Miqo'te winces when a flyer is pushed into her hands. This isn't the first time and she was hoping not to have to pass the soapbox but it was right in the way of where she needed to go. Ears folded back she frowns. "So chaos can ensue and people get killed when others try and take over where they want? No thanks. I'll continue to support the Sultanate." She would crumble the page up and toss it at the foot of the soapbox.

Seems it is easier to send me a PM or a tell on my main since I don't really log over to him Seems easier to have letters hand delivered due to the silly character cap for letters unless they are extremely short.

Senpais... notice me! (RP connections and Storylines?)

T'shina is the type to try and help someone out and has a tendency to really watch over those who she thinks needs to be watched over. *coughAyacough* Though, when asked for help she becomes more active than being in the silent watcher type. Currently T'shina can be found in the Ul'dah area and more recently in La Noscea but she has been known to travel to the Shroud for hunting purposes when prey becomes too scarce in Thanalan for her. OOCly, I'm always glad to help and give out pointers and generally just drag you along. Only thing is... I have these weird hours of playtime. Usually around 8pm est to 7-9am and am online only four times a week and it doesn't include Saturday! But perhaps we could have our characters meet and see how they hit it off and we'll go from there? -
Seven Hells tends to be a curse here and there and then afterwards I just get confused myself. And from my WoW days I still replace hell with fel on occasion which I'm not sure if anyone has caught yet.

Come celebrate the 3rd Beach Party Festival and Date Auction!

It will be lots of fun! -
T'shina has a couerl. A blind couerl. She had watched the couerl pack/pride in her travels and took interest in one of the older couerls that seemed to be pushed aside by the others. He had trouble getting some of his meals but got by on what he was able to get with his handicap. Shina then coerced "Percy" to her with fresh meat and would talk with him and after some time and effort, the blind couerl was her traveling companion!

Yes. Yes he would. But I thought it would be a good idea considering letters tag your name at the end (not to mention you have to be friends with the person to send them a letter anyway) and sometimes the mystery in an RP is the best part! I know that back when I played WoW people would make a random toon, send you a letter and delete the character and you'd never know who it came from and that's something you can't do on this game because of the friend's list thing. EDIT: And then I thought of Anonymous love letters as I was leveling. EDIT2: As of this moment, Anon is now Level 15 with the three city states unlocked!
-
Have you ever wanted to send a letter to someone Anonymously? Ever wanted to have someone deliver something for you but the person in question not know who it came from? Here I introduce Anon Y'mous. He is a character I created last night to do just that! All that is needed is that he be friends with a lot of people so that letters can be delivered and using him as gateway to get these plot induced items out there! I will be leveling him enough to have a cowl and be level 15 and work on getting all the Aetherytes to help him out! I would be happy to hear any feed back on the community's thoughts on having an Anonymous deliverer for your plot needs.

I got a message from someone earlier who didn't know how to get a hold of anyone who said that they tried to sign up but there was no verification image for them. Just a heads up.

Many in Eorzea have been feeling the threat and movement of change. In particular, the Miqo'te. After the Calamity many families fell apart due to the destruction, tribes reduced to cinders of what they once were. Many tribes exposed to this new world after many years of seclusion within their own corner of Eorzea and only be exposed to the passing traveler or other tribe. Some have left their tribes in search of ways to make their's better and to take them out of what has become of it. Others have seen that the way things work outside of tribes are something more to be striven for. But there is one thing that is common among all Miqo'te. That there is a lacking sense of family and home when you are without the others who know life as you do. When you are raised together to protect each other and take care of each other. That is where the Aurora come in. T'shina Vashka, originally of the Condor Tribe of Seekers, has seen this. There are many who did not find their place within their previous tribes because of their exposure to this new world. In her eyes she has seen people parade as Nunhs and try and force other female Miqo'te as their mates and they have no one to protect them. She's seen males of the Keepers be treated as slaves when that is a misconception! She valued her own tribal upbringing but even she knew there had to be changes. So she took time and developed a way that was familiar to Miqo'te with celebrations and structure of a traditional tribe but with the freedoms that should be given to you in this world. An so, the Aurora was founded. The Aurora is a tribe based off of mixed traditions in the evolving world of Eorzea and the need to move with the times as well as preserving old traditions that give the Miqo'te their culture. Keeping to the traditional value of having a tribe to build community and give safety to the members of the tribe and to give a sense of comfort. Mixing both Seeker and Keeper traditions of having ceremonies, gathering and having a sense of order to further create a growing atmosphere for the future of Miqo'te and their life connected with the city but remembering and continuing to celebrate their roots as more tribal beings. In the Aurora there are no Matriarchs or Nunhs. There is no superiority of females as there are in Keepers and there are no exclusive breeding rights as there are in Seekers. Everyone is equal and all have a right to choose. As a whole, we extend this invitation to all Miqo'te who wish to be part of this. Come be a part of our family. This is a Linkshell only! Please message T'shina Vashka if you are interested so we can arrange a meeting. If you wonder how your character would know about this tribe T'shina is not against speaking about it and it could be a rumor you just heard! For a house, I will using my own personal house for the linkshell when I can gather the funds.

That would mean a lot of people can't go RP in what is an RP hotspot in Ul'dah. But in the first few moments of being around you see in the Quicksand itself a loan shark getting ready to take out a guy with his lackeys and I'm pretty sure they aren't part of the Adventurer's Guild.
-
And if you want to learn the bow I'm sure T'shina wouldn't mind giving her pointers.

I understand when people get clingy and have had it happen to me once before. It is something that I don't like to discuss because it puts me in an anxiety attack and I often have to calm myself before I start crying with how bad it did get at a point and how bad I had seen the particular person get with others. That being said, my husband and I both Rp and it seems that the crossing of the boundaries has been quite common as of late. I remember before he'd tell me about his character being with another and I use to tease him about it and would develop my own friendships with the girls he played with. One I would jokingly call his other girlfriend (before we married) since they spent a lot of time together. With RP relationships people use to be able to develop strong friendships from getting to know each other's characters and being part of another story as well as your own. It was great writing with people. But then the weird stuff started. In one of the relationships that his character had they were married. They led a guild together in an IC aspect and then one day he checks his email to find she had sent naked pictures of herself to my husband. This quickly ended the RP and he moved on to other things. She tried ruining him at points but it often was seen as her bitter rage as he had no issue telling others why the couple split so suddenly. She did leave the game as she did this to a few other people trying to use sexuality to gain control in an RP world. After that, things were fine until the got weird again. Another character met a girl, treated her nicely and they were planning a date but at the time my husband and I were leveling that character and the character's sister together. So I took a lot of his time to do so. It was told to us by her guild master that she had been posting in their guild chat of how she could get my husband's attention away from me and pining over him. His character found interest in another (being a teenage boy easy to play off) within a day. I have found that the trend does continue and after so many times, I've gotten paranoid over who tries to have an RP relationship with my husband and even myself. I've made it to where my characters are often oblivious to romantic advances (which I am at times) and have often paired my character off with a close friend or my husband's. RP is RP and it is suppose to be fun. It is no fun wondering if the person you are RPing with and they try and make advances towards you will get upset at you.

balmung Traveling Poet to soon arrive in Eorzea

T'shina would adore your character. She has a thing for stories and literature. But she's in Ul'dah most of the time right now. -

The Miqo'te would raise a brow at the Elezen's words, her right ear flicking a few times at the cough. Only a small frown would form on her full lips as she shakes her head. A soft sigh building in her chest before expelling from her. At this point it was up to Aya should she wish to partake in the Elezen's antics but T'shina was watching the strange Alchemist who wanted to get out of her duties.

I personally use the Steelseries Siberia v2. They are really nice with a bunch of colors and the retractable mic is pretty awesome. That and the earphones are huge and are so comfortable and noise cancelling. Steelseries

The way that the woman relaxed had even put her at ease herself. Which, was strange for the archer. She would eye the Duskwight woman carefully and adjust the strap of her satchel. "Yeah, I'll walk you back." But the words would fall on deaf ears even as she felt herself being tugged along, soon enough to be stopped past her half step she had been making. Her right ear flicked a few times as she would watch the woman. She really was trying too hard to get Aya to come with her to the Alchemist's guild. Enough to put a hole in her pocket. Dark blue eyes would look to the stand of jewels and gems, recognizing them as expensive from her own work with the little creations. (Can never be too careful with the goods you trade.) But it seems that Aya was persuaded and due to her own unease and having that protective feeling over the girl, she wasn't going to let her go alone. "Alright, lead the way. Wouldn't be the first time I was an escort." The Seeker would give a small smile at her own comment.

The market was where the young Miqo'te often found herself when she didn't have a specific job. A satchel slung over her shoulder with goods that she was trading with the local merchants. Her blouse open and revealing the leather bra beneath the threaded leather strings. The red fabric of the blouse worn at the seams and where it often folded. Pants neatly tucked into her soft soled boots. Bow and quiver slung across her back. Ears would flick towards loud noises but she would pause at the familiar perfume of the Ishgardian woman. Her nose wiggling a little as her dark blue eyes would begin to search the bustling crowd. It was then that she spotted the woman with golden locks, the outfit she often saw the woman in catching her eye as well. A small growl catching in her throat to see the girl being dragged. It was already one of her intentions to watch over her and so she followed after, weaving through the crowd of buyers and merchants a like. "You're with them?" The question is what lingered when she finally arrived and she'd lift her chin lightly before clearing her throat. "Is there a problem here?" Though she did not look very intimidating she kept herself held upright in her pride.

I haven't played on Balmung but I am from Gilgamesh. The community is as everyone has said, very welcoming to new people and so many are willing to help guide where people have questions! There are several OOC linkshells that you can be in so that you are able to stay connected with the community as well as many linkshells that are IC and Free Companies that work together! There are events going on all the time and the group events are actually easy to get into and meet someone interesting, even for those shy players! You'll see all kinds of RP on Gilgamesh as well from pirates to merchants, to academics and adventurers! So there is always a variety. I am very fond of the server and the things that you can see! As for Roe's there are a few who I can recognize in our community (thought most are male and one female) but there are many of us who would definitely be happy to see more around! They are far too under represented! If you have any questions about places or even Free Companies and/or linkshells go ahead and give me a tell or a PM and I'll try and get as much information as I can for you!
