Then it should have been discussed when we had posted something in the forums when we had been doing an interest check on the event and asking about the entry fee then.

Should there not be enough sign ups, we do plan to have the prize move up from the 30%. We don't want the prize to be underneath the initial entry fee. Also, what is left over will be used towards our Free Company fund towards a house when they open. Something many people do. The fee is only as high as it is because it is geared towards Free Companies and not singular people. We do understand that a fee will deter people from entering. We are aware of this as we had deliberated over this for some time. We would kindly like this thread to be geared more towards promoting the event and not debating about the entry fee please.

We wanted something that would involve a lot of Free Companies and there is a love of fighting we've noticed on this server (that and auctions). So, we figured having a tournament based on Champions of each Free Company (or group) could give a continuous thing to put us against each other in friendly competition. So come! Set your champion against ours!

I feel like my Au Ra girl would get along with him and they should be friends! Because relationships should be natural anyway. Soooo much more fun. But if you ever see me in game on Mayu Cloudwalker give me a poke! She's Doman and from a fishing town that was taken over by the Garleans. Her mother had married a Garlean and she's on the run since she ran away from a betrothal! She has a natural curiosity for magic and machines and a little excitable. Also, my FC the Gilded Rose, is always looking for new members and we have a few engineers in our company despite us being a tavern/cafe. So, anyone with the GR-RP tag will be happy to ask any questions you have on it.

I was thinking about it the other day and I was wondering... how do the Au Ra take care of their scales? Obviously it would have a different care method than their skin as they are both fairly different in texture and more. So I was looking at references of things I had seen in books and other games of where it was mentioned for how they were cared for. Looking at the Qunari in Dragon Age, their horns get itchy and so they use a balm to help with that. Then I have read the Dragon Riders of Pern where young dragons and old will complain of an itchy body due to flaking and the stretching of their skin/scales so they have to be rubbed down with oil to help with the itchiness. My husband informed me that lizards often will roll in dirt or sand to clean themselves rather in water. This helps with the oil secreted from the scales and to get rid of it. So, obviously there is a theme that if these things aren't taken care of, they get itchy. So I can easily come to the conclusion that itchy scales are the result of a growing Au Ra and/or poor care. I can also come to the conclusion that these scales have to be taken care of in a different way. So my question is. What do you think?

We tried our best to use as much of the beach as possible and to try not to solely focus on the contests and events we had planned. That's why our bar was open constantly! We were so happy to see this kind of turn out as many of us were apprehensive but everyone made it worth it. We do hope to host more events like this one in future. Already it seems we've got another planned for October.

I would suggest looking for an LS that fits your needs as I don't believe there are any FCs like that.

I haven't been in a tournament in awhile and I thoroughly enjoyed participating. And I think I can say on Blazerro's behalf that he did enjoy helping! Though it seemed we lacked in healers and the cramped space did make it difficult for everyone to keep track of the matches they wanted to a more spread out area will be better next time! A small fee may be necessary for entry while you are getting things off the ground so you can have a prize. I'm sure that most people wouldn't mind putting in an entry fee to help keep it going. Balmung seems to have a big thing about their fighting tournaments. Also, if you want to have FCs help sponsor let me know! The Gilded Rose enjoyed our time there and we'd be happy to sponsor future events!

And a tip! Should you wish to not stay connected to the OOC Eternal Bond person, then once it is all said and done you "toss" the rings and you still retain all the benefits from it. And should you want to ICly Eternally Bond with someone then all you have to do is just do it again!

I have always loved the idea of having a character being kidnapped. Previously I have had a character kidnapped, tortured, and once someone had attempted to rape her (the person did ask for permission first thankfully and I appreciate that they had). However, it has never been for a prolonged amount of days as they usually don't get away with it long. Personally, I'd love if T'shina had gotten kidnapped. Being that she considers herself a strong and self sufficient individual would make her more humble in the long run, which I think would be interesting to see her go through that mentally. (I enjoy torturing my characters in different ways)

I've known a few people to already be quite upset with the fact that Dark Knights don't draw from the void as that is what they were already doing. So this is quite the lore break and bomb for them so now there has to be some form of reworking. As for Dark Knight only being twelve people I can already see that there will be other small groups who do the same thing, just that they aren't part of the main group and perhaps give themselves another name and purpose or maybe a similar purpose. Though, nothing in particular could really be a lore bomb for me and break my character. I've kept most of her history close to what could be considered Seeker ways and unless they say there really aren't any Seeker tribes in the Shroud then there will be issue (which I see that there has to be some there considering there are too many tribes for there not to be some in the Shroud).
