Any of these character types out there for RP?
V'sato replied to faceman7381's topic in RP Discussion
I like LandStander's idea about a group of villains or a cult of bad people but I think it might be more suited to a gang or group mentality. And I enjoy Lizzo's idea as well I think it still fits better with a group. Not that either of these are bad ideas at all, I actually like the idea of conspiring to make a small group of villains like Landstander mentioned, but I think if you're going to have the one bad guy it would be literally one guy or girl. They would be the person who silences a room when their name is brought up. 70% of the population could hate the person but the other 30% sure wouldn't want to be associated with them. Personally I like the idea of it begin this person and then the people who follow them. It could be out of blind loyalty, fear, or any number of things. They would be the baddest of the bad. The one even the bad guys don't want to be around. At least this is how I always thought of the perfect villain. -

A villain huh? As good as an idea as that sounds it also sounds like it would be quite difficult. Then again my sorely limited knowledge of RP could be getting the best of me here and I could be completely wrong. It sounds like it could be really fun though! -
Well seems a lot easier now that trying every button combo. Thanks! ^^

Do you have to use a keyboard to do a screenshot on the PS3?

Things seem exciting! I'll have my eyes on this one.

I think I'll leave this here. Idristan Strout was a pirate for 10 years after running away from home. He's now "retired" and spends all his time in Limsa Lominsa fishing, drinking, fighting, or doing odd jobs and favors to keep himself staying a float. People who might know him could be from the Limsa Lominsa area that always see him fishing or causing a ruckus and then most obviously people from his life as a pirate would know him well too.

V'sato stares intently at the table trying to decide. Not able to hold back any longer he gets very animated in his answer. "Hmm...everything looks so good. But I can't get my mind of the Crowned Cake. Everything that's put into it...sounds amazing!" V'sato is bouncing slightly excited about his choice.
-
V'sato follows closely behind Adriel. Still slightly flustered at the sudden change of events but rather excited as well. As Adriel approaches the cart and greats the woman tending it he pokes his head around her, "I agree! I could smell your good from further away than I would care to say." He has some trouble containing his excitement but this is normal for him when obtaining snacks.
-
His ear perk up as she called him on his quirk. He turns back towards her and tries to hide his embarrassment. "Seems I've been caught." He says with a slight quiver in his voice. "Where was I napping?" He says repeating her question. "I was just outside resting in a small grassy area under a tree. I don't have everything in order so I just sleep wherever seems nice right now." As he mentions this he moves slightly side to side in his chair while he remembers his quiet nap under the setting sun.
-
V'sato straightens up as stiff as a board. He realizes he must've said what was on his mind out loud. "Uh, th-thank you!" He says barely able to contain his excitement. "By the way I'm V'sato. It's nice to meet you.." He pauses realizing he never caught the name of the Elezen he had walked into.
-
"Am I looking for something paticular?" He took a step back and made a quick look around before turning back to the Elezen. "I'm not actually sure of that myself." He replies back to her blushing with a slight smile. "You see I'm fairly new around here so I was taking a stroll..." He stops momentarily as his ears perk up. He turns towards the Elezen who comment caught his attention. He hangs his head and blushes more. "Not her type? I don't understand. It was an accident." Easily distracted in this new area his picks up his head and turns quickly as a fresh sent catches his nose. He stares toward the vendor with fresh baked goods. His mouth wide open and eyes shining brightly. " I might have been looking for that." He mutters slightly. Unaware he started talking out loud.

The first day the sun was out in three days. The wandering Miqo'te was finally able to get out and stretch his legs and enjoy the sun instead of being stuck inside the local inn. Being the first day the markets were open he decided to take a tour of the area and see what the vendors had in stock. His dark red eyes glancing over every piece in every stall he was bound to get lost in it all. Completely lost in thought and sight he bumped into the Elezen woman completely unaware of his surroundings. He stopped and shifted his long unkempt hair out of his face to offer an apology for his lack of awareness. "I'm sorry." Bowing slightly he continues his apology. "I was so lost in everything around that I didn't notice you right in front of me."

My first day back...I'll probably create my 3 characters. I'll have one for RP and then two others to experience the story and game with. I may use those two as alts as time goes but I'm unsure of it at the moment. But day one is going to be used making my characters and then getting my main RP to 15-20 so I can have the entire world for flushing out my RP. Thats the plan anyway.

He stops for a moment to ponder why he had walked into Solioquy. "Aye I'll keep you posted about the drink. Speaking of may I have another?" He starts opening up a bit more now. He knows he has to try and make acquaintances in town because its nothing like living alone on the road. "You could say it was curiosity. Curious as to all the commotion that woke me from my nap." He stops for a moment realizing he may have come off a bit harsh. Hanging his head he begins to apologize and explain himself. "I'm sorry. You see I've just rolled into town and have yet to get to know anyone or even the town itself." He bows slightly before continuing on. "I was awakened by the sound of the door bursting open when some Miqo'te ran out and someone yelling after them. I wasn't aware of what was happening so I watched from outside for a while before deciding to finally walk in myself." With that he flips back his hood and looks around the tavern some more trying to associate himself with the place. He takes a deep breathe before saying anything else. "Sorry I didn't mean to bog you down with my life story."
-
Placing his gil on the table top his pulls his drink close to himself and stares down at it. "V'sato." He takes a drink. With a slight tear to his eye he continues. "V'sato Molkoh." He takes a moment to look at Abai to connect the face to the name. He's already decided on living in town so he has to try and remember the people he meets now. He proceeds to finish the rest of his drink. "This drink is something else. Makes me feel warm."
-
He puts his hand out his head and stares at the menu while he thinks about the fact that he's never had a drink before in his life. "I heard some of the sailors talking about the Spiced Rum when I first arrived in town." He whispered to himself. "I'll take the Spiced Rum please um.." He paused as he realizes he never caught the Hyur's name. Embarrassed he looks back down almost regretting coming inside.
-
V'sato open the door just enough to wedge himself in. As he slides in he takes the seat closest to him and sits with his hood drawn over his head and his tail as close to him as possible. He looks up slightly to see the bottles on display trying to decide on his poison for the night. He speaks softly to himself. "What am I looking for?"

You were at RTX? How was it? I was there but as a Guardian so I didn't really get to experience it the same way as anybody else. I wish I could go to Dragon*Con but due to certain limitations, damn you money :frustrated:, I'm only ever able to go to conventions around Texas.

I'll join you. I'll join y'all as well. I didn't think it was a terrible game.

I really enjoyed reading your background story and I look forward to seeing more of what you can come up with. I also think a lot of your views on IC and OOC are pretty interesting.
