Describe what sort of mech they'd pilot, their loadout, source mech, etc. and yell at each other over who's mech would beat who's.

I'll go make a template for simplicity's sake. Hell, make a bunch, mech shit's great.

 

 

Pilot Name: Flynt Reddard

 

Mecha Name: Hyena Caesar

 

Mech Type: Mark 1 Jaeger

 

Source Material: Pacific Rim

 

Loadout:

  • Superheated pilebunkers in the palms of the hands
  • Claymore mine-style chest compartment, fires spread shot.

Description: Standing at 90 meters, the first issue Jaeger was commissioned by a wealthy investor in the Canadian Shatterdome sector of the Jaeger program. The primary means of Kaiju dispatch would be through grappling with it's colossal hands to get a firm grip and fire internally heated 15 meter long, 5 meter diameter spikes into the Kaiju. If the Kaiju proves to be difficult, the chest compartment houses a one time use fragmenting countermeasure to fire at the pinned Kaiju and hopefully damage it's vital organs.

Description: Standing 38 feet tall, designed for heavy amphibios combat, the Khopesh is the heavy hitter of the New Earth Government's Naval Mecha program. Stationed aboard the NEGS Pickman in the Indian Ocean, Syldra has been a notable deterrent in the King In Yellow's encroachment on Australia. Able to strike with torpedoes underwater, pick off soft targets at a distance with the arm mounted laser, and scrap up and close with the beasts that should not be, the AMV-5 Khopesh is an all-purpose mecha, perfect for the defense of humanity against the Mythos.

Description: This stolen Preta, currently owned by a freelance mercenary, has been modified for use as a long-range strike vehicle. While most of its armor has been stripped to accommodate the massive Arrow IV piece it wields, the fact that it can reliably hit targets from over 9 kilometers makes it quite dangerous as long as its opponents are otherwise occupied with TAG-equipped front line forces. This variant's primary defense is its ability to quickly escape from combat using its jump jets and MASC. Should an opponent actually close with it, while it can take a few hits, this 'mech is in serious trouble.

What I mean is, I'm not sure it matters what mecha she pilots, since most of her shots will just be of her in a skin-tight piloting suit, often in compromising positions while piloting - that's the way these series work right? ;)

 

I am actually scanning through mecha.. I just love the artwork, and I'm really missing watching this sort of series!  My favorite was always the Female Power Armor from Macross/Robotech, but its looking rather dated :-]

...Knew someone was going to eventually pull the Titan. I will be doing doses since I have like six characters associated with mecha in some fashion. I'll lead with the one that's most OP and liable to earn me rolled eyes.

 

Pilot Name: Chris Ganale (or whomever else I feel like shoving in it at the time)

Mecha Name: XXXG-01S Stryker Gundam (alternatively: GMF14-11NG2 Streich Gundam)

Mecha Type: Gundam

Source: Mobile Suit Gundam Wing/G Gundam

Loadout: 1x twin buster rifle, 1x hyper saber, 1x plasma heat rod, 2x CIWS Vulcan

Description: The Stryker begins with the base body of OZ-13MS Epyon colored a darker maroon with its sensor lenses being a dark indigo blue in color. The vernier engines of Epyon have been replaced with the wing-like verniers of the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam ZERO Custom, the left set retaining their white color while the right set is now colored black. Designed for maximum destructive capacity at all ranges, the appearance of the Stryker is meant to intimidate its foes, an effort seemingly wasted by the use of the ZERO Custom's wing verniers. Its combat abilities speak for itself, however, between the fast-recharging twin buster rifle, the ability of both the hyper saber and the heat rod to defeat Gundanium, and the near-precognitive benefits of the ZERO Advance system. The hyper saber is notable not only for its cutting power, but also the EM effect it releases on strikes, the ionization behind which has the side effect of generating severe thunderstorms in atmosphere.
