K'nahli Posted August 7, 2015 Share #26 Posted August 7, 2015 I don't tend to expect much from season events since it feels like we usually get those silly items like the sheep helmets and that strange bull one, but I usually enjoy the story nonetheless. The sheep one was absolutely adorable, haha. Oh! And we got a minion! Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this one even if the swimsuits don't do much for me personally. Tuesday can't come fast enough! Link to comment
LadyRochester Posted August 7, 2015 Share #27 Posted August 7, 2015 Kind of sad there's not more clothes this year. Last year it was about 4 bathing suits and 3 yukatas per character. Now it's only two dresses I was concerned by this as well until I noticed that this year's outfits are dyeable. Previous event gear was not dyeable, so they gave you 3-4 different colored versions of the same outfit. This year they just made the set they give you dyeable so you can make multi-colored variants without wasting valuable inventory space. I'm rather fond of this option, especially considering it usually takes like 2 patches before you can store event gear in your coffer. Oh! They are dyable. That changes a lot. Okay, I guess that makes things a little better. I wonder what they have in store for us for the anniversary though. Link to comment
Dat Oni Posted August 7, 2015 Share #28 Posted August 7, 2015 During the last Moonfire Faire, all the Yukatas, including the 1.0 ones, were purchasable from NPCs. I see no reason why we should assume that won't be the case, this time. Link to comment

Momo Posted August 9, 2015 Share #34 Posted August 9, 2015 I am kinda hoping they offer the Clogs in the IG vendor too since they didn't add them to the MS. We will probably have an IG vendor still I hope. One thing doh...are they giving a separate thing for the Anniversary this year? Or are we just getting this? What do you guys think? Link to comment
Cliodhna Eoghan Posted August 10, 2015 Share #35 Posted August 10, 2015 sooo excited i was able to get the butterfly kimonos x3 i missed a lot of theses early events so it's really nice i've been able to get some of them. the suits this year look kinda cute but i don't think i'll get much use out of them. ShoggMommy Posted August 11, 2015 Share #36 Posted August 11, 2015 So to let people know. They DO have the special kimonos and yukatas from last year in the in-game vendor as I had hypothesized. These are the Red, Blue, Black for the ladies plus the clogs, and the knickers. And the Red, Blue, Gray for the men. Link to comment
Aduu Avagnar Posted August 11, 2015 Share #37 Posted August 11, 2015 Yeah, if these are the only offerings, SE is skimping on us this year. I get that they had to put a lot of work into Heavensward, so may not have had more dev time to devote to it, but this is their anniversary gig. To match last year's, they'd need to offer a few more clothing items, at least, and a new dance. It's been a really long time, relatively speaking, since we've had what I would call a "good" seasonal event in Eorzea; I was rather disappointed with the last... three? But then, I really don't like sheep helmets, and the doll thing isn't to my interest at all, so I suppose I could say that these events were not "for me". This isnt the anniversary gig. That is next weekend. Link to comment

Ryanti Posted August 13, 2015 Share #40 Posted August 13, 2015 At first I was bummed out at the lack of depth at this event. But the Costa Del Sol decor that comes with this year's event is a real treat and allowed for everyone to concentrate themselves at one spot and hang out and have fun, which I believe is just as good as getting items. 8-) I am very happy about the male shorts. We've needed casual -SHORTS- for a very long time. Link to comment
