I already consider it a ripoff as a RPer I have to purchase extra slots. I wish they'd at least give you enough slots to cover all the races. Or hell two would do lol.

I think you've forgotten the first tenant of MMO development:

The wording on the EU site is different to the US:

âFor each account, one retainer will be free of charge with an additional retainer being â¬1.00 per month (UK £0.70)â

It seems the cost of retainers has gone down in the last ten years. I got mine for $350 each. It was the biggest ripoff ever considering I had worn their stupid braces for almost three years.

Damned Orthodontists!

Nah, that's just because we're all communists over here ;) In Denmark, retainers are free until if you get them before you're 18!

Seriously? :o

This is a really sensitive topic in the US right now... I probably should refrain from commenting!

Only because everyone here is more qualified to be a politician than the ones already in office ;)

Heh, I am ESPECIALLY not gonna comment on American politics. I'm just gonna say that the current american government seem to be closer to what I'm used to here, than it was before.

That's all I needed to hear...

Hehe. Well, we do also have some of the highest taxes in the world. But yeah, politics might not be the best subject to discuss :)

Truer words were never spoken. I say we secede and form our own server!... err, I mean, country. :P

*holds up the can of worms*

What can of worms? O.o *Is sometimes very stupid when it comes to english expressions*

To "open a can of worms" is to introduce a topic that is almost guaranteed to cause trouble. Compare "opening Pandora's Box". :D

Hehe, 'opening a can of worms' is the expression used for when you trigger some major event with something that might otherwise seem inoffensive or not a big deal. So in this case, talking about [insert American political triggerword, such as 'socialism'] would be opening the can of worms, since people can get very emotionally overwrought by the topic.

. . .or the simpler version wikipedia just gave me: A can of worms is a complex, troublesome situation arising when a decision or action produces considerable subsequent problems.

edit- now Riki beat me! DAMMIT.

Yeah... I'm sorry if I offended anyone' date=' it was really just supposed to be a joke about the differences, not a standpoint or anything.[/quote']

No, no. You haven't offended anyone! After all, I was the one who brought the conversation from Final Fantasy to orthodontia to politics... In other words, I'm the jerk who almost opened the can of worms

Hmm, I think we just say "Open Pandora's box"...

We do have a really gross saying though, for when something is bottling up and finally something happens and hell breaks lose. "Now the ulcer bursted".

I don't know if ulcer is the right word, but it seemed to be close enough :P
