Do we have a master list of FC's themes, particularly if they offer services to others?

 

For example, the FC I'm in (defunct fc) is merchant-adventurer themed. I have seen a few others who are also merchants and trading companies. Lots of merc & sellsword FCs out there too. A few performance focused FCs. Seen one that looks like an employment agency.

 

I'm looking more for a single thread rather than having to click through each of the FC profiles listed in Linkshell Hall.

 

Does anything like this exist?

Please leave a comment here or message me privately with your FC's theme and/or services offered. (I will gladly include themed Linkshells as well. Please just clarify whether it is for a FC or LS and the contact person/people.) It is fine if your group covers more than one theme/service. As far as labels go, let's toss 'em all in and I'll see if I can consolidate themes later.

:arrow: Since this is a recurring problem, I strongly suggest that groups use a free website such as their listing on the RPC, tumblr blog, etc. as their reference url, unless you are sure you will keep the payments going on your group's website. I only list one website per group, choose wisely.

This list is not for OOC RP profiling (medium/heavy, dark, etc.) but specifically for IC (if FCs were characters :D ) themes such as Sky Pirates, Smugglers, Caterers, Security, etc. Apologies for not clarifying this to start!

 

I want to add... Please remember that some of these categories may be kept secret or hidden from public knowledge. Be sure to check with FC members if you aren't sure whether this knowledge falls into metagaming!

I know that'd be useful for finding stuff/coordinating other RPs. As a sidenote and not to hijack anything, but PM me about this idea! Wandering Tonberry has a merchantile arm that we are trying to do more work with and I'd love to see if we can't align some things!

I suppose to start, I would like for folks to either leave a comment here or message me privately with their FC's theme and/or services offered. (I will gladly include themed Linkshells as well. Please just clarify whether it is for a FC or LS and the contact person/people.) It is fine if your group covers more than one theme/service. As far as labels go, let's toss 'em all in and I'll see if I can consolidate themes later.

This is less a list of OOC RP profiles and more IC profiles (I will clarify this in the OP, my apologies). So would General Work or For-Hire be a good label? Were there specific jobs y'all prefer to do? Let me know and sorry about the confusion!

 

eta: I went with General Contract Work for the meantime. ^^

 

General contract work is fine, and for-hire also works. KinRP quite literally does everything they have the skills for & is asked to do (usually via contracts.) - It comes close to mercenary work but then not completely, which is why I didn't list that. I figured if I wrote the jack-of-all-trades thing, you'd be able to find a category - so go with what you feel is best for your list :)
