Searching for RP Partners (Balmung Server)

Hello there! I'm a long-time role-player and I'm getting accustomed enough to the game and its lore that I would like to become more involved in the RP community. That being said, I'm searching for some RP friends! I'm currently attending college as well as running an RP guild on another MMO, so I have a lot to juggle. For that reason, I'm not looking for anyone to RP with every day for hours, I'm just trying to meet people I can snag for some RP when free time allows.

 

My character is Faye Covington, a midlander and aspiring conjurer who prides herself on being a "proper" lady and as such she doesn't spend a lot of time loitering in taverns or out on the field (thus making it hard for me to meet many RP buddies!). I don't want to spoil too much about any of my characters, but if Faye doesn't suit your tastes, I do have several other characters. 

 

I'm okay to RP just about anything and I usually go with the flow of things. Gestahl is a midlander who is also an aspiring adept of the magical arts.  He normally stays around his native Ul'dah and studies his craft.  Many times venturing outside it's walls to seek relics or just to put his study into practice. 

 

His knowledge and interest in the magical arts spans the whole spectrum of magic. While he is studying thaumaturgy, he is just as interested in different schools of magic.  He enjoys chatting with students of other schools of magic to expand his knowledge on magic.

Hello, Faye!

 

     I think our character would have a very interesting back and forth! While she does study the arcane, her academic pursuits are fairly limitless, and she often freely abandons any sense of 'propriety' in pursuit of 'convenience'. In opposition to Faye, she adores taking her research into the field, but spends a fair amount of time conducting other studies in more civilized locations. 

     With academia, I think they'll find some common ground, and with her tendency to store sand in her pockets - I think they'll find something to bicker about too. The name's Aislin Rivers! Add me if you think it might be fun when you're schedule frees up! :thumbsup:

I have two mages, Aartur Nelhah and Yayaan Tutuan. Aartur is exceedingly shy, even for a Keeper, but is also very scholarly (he'd literally read all day if he didn't need food or money). Yayaan on the other hand also considers himself a man (Lalafell) of learning, but is out more often in the field as a mage-for-hire and occasional vigilante.

 

Both of them can most often be found around the Ul'dah area, or Gridania for Aartur, as he lives there. Feel free to send a tell if you wanna RP! (I also have my main, Fenenoix Ekrent, who is quite friendly, but though he's involved in alchemy, he isn't exactly a scholar.)
