We're well into Legendary Pokemon numbers now, and tonight's outing saw 51 diligent fighters pop out to Thanalan for our regular party! It was a good night for NR-RP though, as two of their members took to the final round to crown a new champion! In the end it was Serihilda Storme displacing former champ Gegeruza for the victory. I speechified a little in the intro bits that over the time we've had basically every archetype and RP concept show up: Name something in the game you could feasibly RP and we've had it show up. From Brass Blades to Secret Au Ra prior to 3.0, from animated statue creatures to voidsent, from the lowliest beggar to someone RPing the Sultana, we've done everything. Except maybe an actual primal. Still, nothing prepared us for our winner tonight. MUSCLE MOG Next week's Grindstone might be LIVE FROM FANFEST so please look forward to it! Link to comment

That seems appropriate for Balmung. After 3 hours and change of fighting, we crowned a new first-time champion in Neiyo Kaneuchi! Tonight we had a whopping 76 fighters turn up to do battle, nearly beating our record of 77 set last summer! Phlegethon's army provided a number of competent competitors, but our winner was the newly debuting Zuzuli Zuli! Congratulations!
