Character Tumblrs!

So, I've been browsing the balmung tag on Tumblr and have been reblogging things to my own personal tumblr account... Only to realize that I've been having a bit of fun interacting with some of the people there and writing out short joint posts/descriptions on screenshots and the like. So, I'm looking for some other people to follow and interact with! Madmeanderings is my chosen tumblr username.

 

Do any of you use tumblr to play out scenes, or to just show off some things with your character? Maybe for a bit of random writing that you don't post to the boards?

I have two blogs on Tumblr - one for my in-character journal, and one as my ooc ffxiv blog.  On my in-character journal I like to post up screenshots that I planned & edited with a written snippet below about Queen's "story" pertaining to that shot.  I have a lot of fun with it, keeps me doing creative things and really helps me to figure my character out~

 

The OOC ffxiv blog just has screens, reblogs, q&as, etc.

I've been doing a ton of writing in mine, both things that are canon and just little quips for fun (even if most quips end up being vaguely NSFW). It's a lot of fun to link up with other people on Tumblr and then see them around the Quicksand too.

I have been running Iliette an inspiration/in character tumblr. So far it's mainly been screenshots, songs that fit the character and just in general images, dresses and the like that I think would fit my main character. I haven't done tumblr RP ever, but if people poke me on there, I'm willing to try as well as in character asks and such! It would be a fun thing to do! People can view said tumblr in my signiture!

I made a sideblog for FFXIV related content, including screenshots I take and possible future writings I may do for my character(s). I also reblog videos, official news and all things FFXIV. But it's mostly there for screenshot posting purposes. Its not an RP blog though, alas.

I have a Tumblr for C'rhisi and Anais!  Primarily inspiration, things that catch my fancy for the characters, and suchlike.  Can be mildly NSFW (more suggestive than anything) and it will be featuring songs, stories, etc.

I have an IC tumblr for my Miqo'te: The Adventurer D'aito Kuji.

 

This conceit is that "followers" are subscribers to a newsletter/adventure serial delivered by Moogles.  It contains tips, reports, pictures, and other information.  Why would adventurers subscribe to such a thing?  I dunno, why do people follow tumblr blogs?  People do things.  But if you're interested, check it out.  I do try to keep it as ICly as I can considering the limitations of world - so no "real world" crossovers and such.

I have one for Xavarian, but currently it's in progress, and a lot of it is more 'inspiration' or 'things that remind me of Xavarian because reasons' than anything.  Occasionally, though, there will be screenshots, other FFXIV things, writing relating to the character, and art (if I ever get the time to make proper art of this guy).

It's also likely to be NSFW eventually, but potentially more for 'creepy' than 'sexyfine all the time'.

 

I'd totally have him answer IC asks (as though they were letters) or even OOC asks ICly if sent though. It has the potential for a lot, I just currently use it mostly for inspiration.
