But in the type of setting most people RP in, I don't think it'd be taken lightly. Faking authority when there are so many Law-Enforcement RPers around would be a pretty ballsy move. I think it's be a lot of fun to observe, but it would surely have IC drama/repercussions.

Your idea sounds fine. I somehow got it in my head you were going to have Otto walking around in the artifact armor, looking for all the part like a paladin, sworn or otherwise. This would cause problems for Warren ICly, but! See the first rule.

^ This. At the end of the day, you know Otto the best. It doesn't matter what advice or opinions others give you. You know him the best, so don't change something if you think Otto will do x y or z.

Let me say that if Tonk EVER gets used for anything more than IC irritating paladins and other LEOs and calling them all layabouts for letting the Quicksand go to shit (whether this is true or not I dunno) I would like to try to humorously arrest someone and put on a Great Saiyaman impersonation of sorts. Nothing at all serious. Though Franz has a point there are a lot of people who IC are always LOOKING for a reason to fight and 'kill' something so it might not work when all I am looking to do is fucking around humorously with ridiculous looking armor and a wooden sword.
