  1. Honey coloured eyes twitched once when the female started walking towards him, her face a threat. The Tia managed to remain motionless like a rock, unyielding to her proximity, albeit he could also feel a small sweat drop forming on his forehead. A very uncomfortable silence ruled the scene for eternal seconds, in which K'nahli seemed to wordlessly play with the Tia's tortured mind. He used the chance to look into her eyes, into the fire he'd always found there-- the few times he'd dared to look, of course. There was something mesmerizingly indescribable about K'nahli's gaze. It was like a door; a beautiful, fierce, completely sealed door that kept everyone -albeit not everything- at bay. Everyone but him, for it'd been the coldness in her eyes what made him notice her that day, many years ago. Many years ago... "And tell me true... do you love me?" The world turned deaf and mute at those words. Surprise, confusion, embarrassment. Everything was reflected in K'rahto's face at once. Sounds abandoned him, his tongue wouldn't move. He could just stare at her, like a perfectly useless Tia, overwhelmed by a huntress. Now, how was he supposed to answer such a complicated and menacing question? He was good at feeling and being controlled by his own emotions, but eloquence had never been his friend. So much that he still found himself unable to say anything as seconds kept passing. Memories from the last time something similar happened to him came to his mind; he could almost taste the disappointment and disdain in K'nahli's face. No-- K'rahto wouldn't wait for her back to be turned to him again. He had to give her a piece of her mind. Now. "I..." He tried, and that felt like the most difficult thing he'd ever done. Then again, confessing for the first time had also been. Inhaling deeply and tightening his fits, K'rahto turned his own annoyance, his own frustration into the fuel he needed. "The Nunh can have every other huntress in the world," he finally said, his tone murderous and full of venom. "But you... You..." The look in K'nahli's eyes stole his breath once more. K'rahto's expression changed again, losing a part of his aggressiveness. He found himself staring at her with something akin surprise, lost into that he'd never have. Her. Words simply came out then. They sounded like a realization, strangely calm and honest. And wrong. "I'd kill for you, K'nahli Yohko..."
  2. I hope people will want to participate! My character Clover can be either a rescuer or a captive. Whichever needs more participants ^^ Edit: Also, have you considered playing this ingame in case most people prefer that way?
  3. The first thing K'rahto automatically did was mutter something under his breath. Something that didn't sound kind in the slightest. Then, he made the effort to think, albeit thinking was a truly difficult feat at that moment. Was he certain? No, he wasn't freaking certain of anything, other than K'iara not being a liar. The way she'd spoken to him, coupled with they way she'd reacted to K'ile... well, there was no room for doubts in the Tia's mind. K'rahto couldn't care about whether or not K'ile would be able to do it when the moment came. He was assuming the worst, and the worst was that another Tia was a step ahead of him. "Give me an answer..." the boy ended up saying before his mind would drive him crazier.
  4. "I couldn't care less about what makes sense to you," he growled dangerously and immediately, almost interrupting her speech. K'nahli was derailing from what was truly important; it was making him more nervous than what he should be. Though, truth be told, anything could manage to put him in such a state right now, no matter how small. "K'ile himself has told my sister that he'll challenge the Nunh tomorrow, that's what the feast is for." The look in his burning eyes was as aggressive as his tone. His fists tightened once more. The next sentence felt like stabbing himself, right in an already open wound. "K'nahli Yohko. Will you give yourself to the next Nunh if he succeeds?"
  5. Thank you very much for the botany class! I took screenshots of all the information. It was very interesting ^^ Sadly, I know nothing about botany irl (even less in English *laughs*), so my character couldn't contribute much.
  6. She would hear what he had to say, and she'd look at him as well, even if her new words were yet another attempt to hurt him. K'nahli was full of those, wasn't she? Sometimes, not even K'rahto himself knew why he bothered with such an unlovable female. And he never took long to remember why he did. "Nonsense?" He spat, still managing not to raise his voice more than what was safe. The last thing any of them wanted was the rest of the tribe meddling in their business. "A Tia wanting to become the next Nunh is nonsense to you?"
  7. K'nahli's harsh words were met with silence. Silence behind her back, in the soft wind. His scent didn't disappear, however, and neither did his presence; K'rahto's silence was a loud one, as were his thoughts. His fists tightened and his eyes narrowed, still glued to the proud huntress, the female who seemed to take pleasure in humiliating him. Oh, but she would hear what he had to say. K'rahto wouldn't have approached her for no reason. "K'ile Tia is going to challenge the Nunh." His voice was close to a low, dangerous growl behind her.
  8. A shadow. That was how K'rahto Tia felt sometimes, the times he looked for K'nahli and always found her with her back turned to him. No-- to the world, for there was nothing worth to see there. He was a shadow today as well. One with cold and piercing eyes, and venom in his tongue. "K'nahli Yohko." His voice was loud enough for her, albeit not for himself. It was a restrained sound, containing more than just a name.
  9. K'mih's lips parted slightly, her smile gone for good. Has she hurt K'tahjha that much? Would her sister start relating her to something scary and hateful? Perhaps she might not even want to attend the feast, knowing there'd be fire in it. Even after hearing that K'tahjha was afraid, K'mih didn't imagine her phobia would be this strong. Guilty bicolour eyes moved to the ground again. The girl offered her sister a respectful bow, before she started walking away, dejected. She still had to dance and shouldn't think much. She had to dance for father.
  10. Still forcing herself to maintain the same smile, even if this one had become small and apologetic, K'mih's eyes lowered for a moment. A silent nod from her head was her initial reply. When she looked at K'tahjha again, her smile was much more sincere. "It's alright, you don't have to do it Tahjha, don't worry. Will you watch me dance at the feast and tell me if I did right? It'll be the first time for me and I don't know if I'll be good, ehehe..."
  11. The moment felt like a deflating balloon. K'mih's smile faded slightly, ears and tail falling down. That look in her sister's face... it was exactly the look she'd feared to see. K'ile certainly wasn't lying when he mentioned her fear of fire. "D-don't you think it'll be fun?" She tried again, just a bit more. She did as cheerfully as she could, albeit it was clear that she was nervous. "I-I think it'll be fine... K'ile will take good care of us... Besides, I'll be with you, so you won't dance alone!" As she spoke, she tried to figure out just how convincing her voice was sounding. Maybe not much? Would that be enough? All she actually wanted was for K'tahjha to cheer up.
  12. "K'ile..." She replied, doing herself to keep her smile. This one ended up diminishing a bit as her eyes lowered slowly. To her sister's fear of fire, it was added her worry for K'luha. Really, the more K'mih heard, the worse the idea of having K'tahjha dance sounded. "He would like us to dance at tomorrow's festival..."
  13. These two just love each other >///< *Falls asleep over her keyboard*.
  14. Is the class starting in a few minutes? Where is it supposed to start? I'm at the CNJ guild and there's no one else there ;_; Maybe I missed that info. Edit: I might have gotten the time and place wrong, so I guess I'm missing today's event. Sorry X_X I really wanted to attend it, but I'm very confused now. Edit2: Aaaand it seems I mistook the time. Class is apparently starting in half an hour, which is midnight for me. I'm afraid I can't make it, as my brain is already malfunctioning at this time *laughs*. I hope I can attend tomorrow's class!
  15. "...!" Without much of a warning, K'mih found herself hugged by her younger sister. Her initial surprise didn't take long to turn into slightly nervous smile; would the other girl be as glad to see her after she heard the news? "T-Tahjha... I was looking for you." When the younger one pulled back from the hug, K'mih managed to look at her in the eyes. It was going to be difficult, she needed to find the right words... "Do..." she started, carefully at first, then more effusively to sound convincing. "Do you like dancing, Tahjha? I was wondering if you'd like to learn some moves with me! I think it'll be fun!"
  16. Hopefully, I'm not mistaking the time. Conjurer class should be in two hours and a half, right?
  17. K'mih approached the medical tent, where she thought K'tahjha was supposed to be. She remembered having seen her sister beside K'luha from the very first moment they arrived to the camp. At the entrance, she found K'rahto standing still with his unfriendly face. They looked at each other for a moment. "Is Tahjha inside?" The girl asked politely. She didn't know the Tia much. He wasn't someone who had ever played with her, and neither had K'nahli told her about her small story with him. To K'mih, he was just a very serious Tia who didn't want to be friends with many people. "She left a moment ago." "Oh..." Albeit her voice might have sound disappointed, K'mih was actually relieved. She wasn't eager to see a scared look in K'tahjha's eyes when she had to tell her the news, though that was just a matter of time. "Alright... I'll wait for her," she replied afterwards. Crossing her fingers behind her back, she stared at nowhere in particular. The Tia remained silent, his eyes also focused on any random point that wasn't K'mih.
  18. Pink tail and ears fell down upon K'ile's request. The man was basically asking her to hurt her sister, to force K'tahjha into something she was going to hate. It was going to be really difficult for K'mih, but... "U-understood..." she finally said, lowering her eyes in defeat. Obedience. Was it really a virtue?
  19. K'mih relaxed visibly after K'ile's next words. A soft smile was drawn to her features then, reassured that he'd be okay in no time. She assumed he was just a bit unwell from the dangers they might have encountered during their trip. Nothing serious like K'luha, but enough for him to be unable to dance nimbly the next night. "I've never tried dancing before, but I'll do my best to learn, uncle! You can be at ease tomorrow." At the mention of her young sister, the girl's expression displayed surprise once more. "K'tahjha...?" Two things were revealed then. For one, that K'tahjha was afraid of fire, a detail K'mih had been unaware of. For another, that she'd have to be the one convincing her sister to dance with her own nightmares. Could she? "Uncle, I will ask her," she promised, her eyes and tone full of concern. "But if she feels she can't, I could dance on my own. I don't mind being the only one..." The only one. Just for a night.
  20. The lack of the firedancers bracelet wasn't something K'mih noticed right away; not until K'ile directly mentioned his unfitness for dancing again. The girl stared at him with unblinking eyes and slightly parted lips, taking in his instructions like the obedient miqo'te she was. Surprise and confusion weren't hidden in her features. "Tomorrow...? I-I'll do my best to learn, uncle," was her first and a bit nervous reply, naturally accepting any duty she might have to perform, no matter how hasty it sounded. Actually, dancing had always been something she felt very curious about for several reasons, and her mind had toyed with the idea on more than one occasion. Dancers were beautiful, after all. Everyone looked at them when they performed, including the Nunh... K'mih's possible excitement about K'ile's request was, however, stained with concern. "But... you can't dance anymore...? Why...?" She asked carefully, wondering if it was alright to inquire about the matter. K'ile was her family, and yet she knew nothing of what he'd been through during his trip.
  21. K'rahto maintained his position outside the medical tent, from where K'luha's screams were too close for his liking. His expression remained as stoic as he could manage, albeit a cold sweat had started traveling down his forehead. As if the day hadn't been tense enough, the sounds coming from the injured woman's throat weren't helping. They made him nervous. More nervous than what he already was. His role as an useless Tia had given him some humiliation a moment ago, but now he could only think that he'd been too lucky. His sister K'zhumi was getting the worst end without a doubt. In the distance, his ears caught the yelling voice of his other sister, reaching a surprising pitch he hadn't heard in a long time. The Tia couldn't help but frown in confusion. Just what had K'ile said to make K'iara, always composed K'iara, lose it that way? [...] K'mih turned her head towards the voice who called out her name. She then took a quick last glance towards her half brother. "I-I have to go..." (Will you be here later? I'd like to talk to you more. I want to hear more about magic. I want to hear more about your family... I want to hear more about you...) Her eyes lingered on him for another second, almost apologetic and guilty, and none of the things she actually wanted to say left her lips. She finally turned away and ran to K'ile. "What is it, uncle...?"
  22. K'mih listened to Li's words, but they didn't make full sense in her head. To her, the flow of aether and all the things it could do to people weren't like sharp weapons. Perhaps it was because she'd learned how to use the latter, while she knew nothing of the former. It just sounded more complicated, more dangerous for the mind as well as the body. Blades, albeit deadly, were more straightforward. A familiar voice made the young miqo'te turn her head, just to find her sister approaching them. K'mih stepped timidly to the side, her eyes on the ground, and let K'nahli talk. For a moment, she'd feared to be scolded for talking to the stranger.
  23. K'mih is finally 50! I love the Warrior armour. (I might glamour a few pieces this way).
  24. Could you be a bit more descriptive? The video doesn't make it look that much different than what I'd expect from an MMORPG these days, especially a Korean one. Is the difference in the mechanics? No, sorry, I was being sarcastic. That game is a huge copy of Tera, with bits taken from Aion as well. The video is interesting because you can see elins. People who played Tera will know right away; you only have to take a look at the game's name and font used ^^; It's so blatant I don't even know what Bluehole studio is doing while other Korean company rip their contents.
