  1. The young girl had remained calm at the confirmation that K'ile was, indeed, going to challenge her father. What made her eyes raise and open wider were K'iara's words; intimidating, challenging, and highly unwelcome. K'mih looked troubled, losing her voice for a moment. Even if K'ile was much older than her father, it was a fact that he would be her Nunh if he won the challenge. What was no fact was that the new Nunh would accept a miqo'te like her, however. Her gaze lowered again. Out of sight, her fingers squeezed each other in nervous movements. "The Nunh must be challenged," she agreed, managing to sound calm again. So calm her voice didn't raise much. "I only have a favour to ask..." K'mih looked into K'ile's eyes, with both determination and innocence, before she spoke again. "Will you wait until the Nunh recovers from his wounds?"
  2. "We must stop the bleeding, Andre," she insisted, her tone and expression remaining as serious as before. Without asking for further permission, as she already knew how stubborn Andre could be about such matters, Clover stepped closer to his side and observed his bleeding arm. There were voices behind her when her hands moved near the wound; one of them open, the other holding a small branch. Her eyes closed then, and as the aether started flowing from her hands into her friend's flesh, she heard nothing. 'The elementals have many stories to tell. You simply must learn to listen to them,' her grandpa told her once. Ah, she could see his smiling face again, giving sense to everything. Making the world right. But as much as Clover had trained her conjury, as much as she'd tried to communicate with the elementals whenever she borrowed aether from nature, no voices had been heard and no stories had been told. Just like now. "......" It could have been mere seconds or whole minutes; she couldn't tell. When her mind came back to reality and her eyes finally opened slowly, she took a look at the wound. It wasn't fully healed, but the bleeding had stopped; that was more than enough for now. Only after making sure that her work was done, she turned her head on time to meet Xydane's eyes. She'd seen that look before. It looked like a farewell. As the young man turned to the other female, both ready to march alone against the Ixal army, Clover followed an impulse. "Take me with you!" She raised her voice, more so than the usual, to get their attention before their departure. Her tone, slightly desperate, spoke of humble determination. Her heart, racing inside her chest, spoke of fear. And as she stared at the two figures, her eyes spoke of both. "I know some conjury, please take me with you!"
  3. K'mih had been, indeed, quite a useless huntress. Just a happy looking miqo'te who would often find herself unrelated to the real problems her tribe had. She had yet to suffer many scars and it showed. Her eyes fell on K'iara's strong figure for a moment, noticing her annoyance even if her words hadn't been clear. While intimidating to the young girl, that didn't seem to stop her; not at this moment. K'ile had given her permission, and hopefully she wouldn't steal much of his time anyway. With her gaze traveling down to the ground and her fingers toying with one another behind her back, K'mih maintained a soft smile when she spoke again. "I've heard you plan to challenge my father soon. Is it true?" [...] As always, K'rahto had just been there, doing his thing. In this case, his thing involved taking care of their supplies while his sisters likely did some tourism around the place. So he stood beside the carriage with arms crossed, like a good and loyal guardian hound. The U tribe was famous for their springs, which he likely wouldn't be able to touch. It wasn't strange that his thoughts would return to K'nahli then. Would she try them...? The Tia shook his head and lowered his gaze, frowning. It hadn't been K'nahli's body what caught his attention to start with. In fact, he'd barely paid attention to anything that wasn't her eyes back then. But, now, he'd lie if he didn't admit having secretly looked at her figure, at everything he'd never be able to have. Not even a mere touch from her skin would be granted to a Tia like himself; not even that. It was maddening. She was. And all he could do about it was curse under his breath when no one was looking.
  4. To K'mih, home was with her family, no matter the place. Her father, her mother, her sisters and brothers, everyone; everyone was walking the same path she did, through the sands they'd known for so long. And only the sands would be left behind, for every memory, every scar would follow them, like shackles they'd forever drag with their feet. K'mih was a lucky miqo'te who knew nothing, thus very little was the weight she carried. [...] She'd heard about the U tribe oasis before, but it was the first time K'mih had the chance to see it with her own eyes. Perhaps, were the circumstances different, she might have appreciated the unfamiliar green and the mere idea of trying out the springs. It wasn't the right day for that, however. Not when several family members had been injured. Not when her dear sister K'nahli had been so silent. Not when... Her eyes scanned the place, only stopping when they found the figure they'd been searching for. K'ile Tia, her ambitious uncle. The girl could feel her heart racing as she approached both him and K'iara, but she appeared calm when she spoke. "Uncle, may I speak to you for a moment?" The question was posed with a soft smile and hands crossed behind, her posture innocent and slightly shy. There was a reason behind her sweet attitude; she might have interrupted something important, but she really wanted to speak to K'ile.
  5. (I apologize if this has been posted before. I haven't found anything). SE brings everyone the chance for their character to appear in-game as NPCs. http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/d510fd3313ebe943ce55e61ad7c3132cfe3d7e99 Personal thoughts: From the sound of it, this contest doesn't seem to be RP friendly. The description of your character is very brief as if they didn't really care about them, and they state that "the exact length and nature of any appearance to be entirely at our discretion". Basically, they can add whatever story and personality they want for your character. It sounds more like a gift for non RPers, for this might be the closest thing to their characters having a soul they might ever achieve. This said, it's still a cute idea. I've participated with K'mih, since she's a simple character and I wouldn't really care about what they do with her. Clover wouldn't be suitable for any quest due to her silent and strange personality. That, and the fact I'd never leave her in hands of a random person who doesn't care about her to start with *laughs*. Are you participating in this contest? If so, what character are you choosing and why?
  6. Because this post needs some K'yohko Nunh. Shocking his daughters from 2014. (This isn't for the calendar. This is just me being silly ;; )
  7. I'm glad to see you back! Your screens are always amazing >_<
  8. Ah, I don't actually know. That many EU players left to another server is what this person told me http://kiiwichan.tumblr.com/post/94244085432/clovermemories-sometimes-im-tempted-to-leave Perhaps it only happened many months ago? I was just wondering if other EU players had felt a bit left out sometimes. I don't know how many times I've had to write "I'd love to attend this event, but sadly my timezone is bad", *laughs*. In any case, having a static group willing to do endgame content, from T5 to Second Coil of Bahamut, would be really awesome for me. I'll try to contact Lynna and ask her about the team they're building. Thank you for letting me know!
  9. The only EX primal I've cleared is Garuda, so I'd love to join if the chosen time makes it possible ^^ (I'm an EU player too).
  10. Happy 1 year anniversary, everyone! People have been posting some screens of their characters from their newbie days in tumblr. Perhaps we could do the same here? Here are my 10 screens.
  11. Hello! (I've been told it was okay to reply here; I hope I'm doing it right). I'm a WHM in need to learn any of those raids, so I wonder if I could join you any Friday if the healer spot is open. I might fail at first, but I'll do my best to learn if you accept me >_< EDIT: Forgot to mention. I'm playing at i98, but can go a bit higher if needed. I just chose not to use some of the Soldiery pieces because they don't give me spell speed, but I can equip them in case you consider I need more ilv.
  12. As always, I want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences ^^ Nebbs: Waaaaa, Balmung Finest sounds good, but what sounds really great is your FC's Friday event! So they organize learning parties... that's really wonderful. - Leviathan XM. - Moogle XM. - Coil T5. Those are the ones I'd love to learn right now! Do you think it'd be okay if I could participate the next Friday? I might fail a lot at first, but I think I'm decent once I learn. Also, I'd love to join Balmung Finest just in case they decide to raid when I'm online. Aaand let's see if we can get any party from the EU LS, though I'm not really counting on that due to a general lack of interest in endgame content.
  13. Nako> Thank you for your reply! ^^ I'm in the EU LS, but sadly they don't do endgame. And as far as I know, they don't organize events either. Or at least I haven't heard about it (I assume that if someone organizes an actual event, they'd advertise it here). Oh well, perhaps the solution really is for me to transfer. I must think carefully about it. EDIT: Waaa, more replies @@ I didn't read them when I posted. *Does so now*. EDIT2: Thank you for leaving your comments, everyone! Are you all in the Europa Linkshell? If so, and if you're interested in endgame, perhaps we could try to make a party and raid together? So far, the people at the EU LS don't seem interested in endgame raids, or this was what I was told when I asked them a while ago. It's a pity; I want to enjoy the game to the max as well (High Allagan tunic *coughs), and I feel I'm missing many things.
  14. Hello! I hope this is the right place for this kind of topic. If not, I apologize. As I've mentioned before, being an EU player, I've sacrificed endgame for the sake of joining the unofficial RP server. Granted, I don't RP much ingame because I'm not a fan of casual tavern RP, but I love attending events. However, most events I see lately, even the ones advertised in the tumblr RP community, are organized with NA timezones in mind. In the end, I'm feeling a bit frustrated because I can't do endgame anywhere and I can't attend most RP events either. I've read that many EU players left Balmung for an EU server, and that there are many RP groups in said servers. EU players, does anyone know anything about this? Has any EU player from the RPC ended up leaving Balmung/Gilgamesh and found RP elsewhere? I merely want to know if there's any active EU RP community, organizing events for European timezones. Even if there's not, which is the recommended EU server? Thank you for your time.
  15. Frontlines? Then I was likely dead too, hahaha. The Twin Adder hasn't been the luckiest lately, it's so sad.
  16. sgdfgdfgh I didn't expect to see Clover in anyone else's screen. Thank you very much for taking it! Your miqo'te looks very cute, I wish Clover hadn't been daydreaming (aka I was afk), so that I could have taken screens of her too ;_; Seeing this made me very happy, in any case. Thank you again *bows*. I bring the unfriendly and "useless Tia", K'rahto. I really want to RP him ingame sometime. He's a blast.
  17. Hahahahahahaha! This video would have won the video contest. Several times, even. It's the first time I see that dance. I don't tend to unlock or use dances myself, but it'll be fun to see the whole Eorzea using it.
  18. Safe, yes. She felt safe. The brief embrace didn't feel too wrong, and neither did the touch of his hand on hers. She let him guide her through the woods in silence, staring at his back as they walked. This was the young man she'd never get to know, for all the things he'd seen, and all the things he'd lived through, would be forever locked inside his head. Xydane simply didn't want to contaminate anyone, did he? A sound behind the lush vegetation made her come to a halt. Someone was approaching, but it didn't feel like an Ixal. It didn't sound like them, or at least not like the one who was scouting the place. The creature's breathing had been heavy, almost tied to a permanent grunt. Clover's eyes grew wider when, not much later, two figures emerged. Like some sort of miracle that makes your own thoughts become a reality, one of them was exactly what she'd hoped for. Or almost. "Andre..." she said to herself, barely audible, and wasted no time to let go of Xydane's hand to run towards her friend. He was injured, that much was obvious even before she could approach him. When she was right in front of him, she didn't smile, didn't say anything for a moment. Only her eyes spoke of how it was, how it felt when a dear friend you thought dead was standing right in front of you, even if soaked in blood. No smiles and no warm embraces. Just well open eyes that hid nothing. "Please let me see your wounds," were her first words, her tone urgent in her usual softness. She wondered who the miqo'te was, but Andre's injuries couldn't really wait for introductions.
  19. I can't wait to get a hold of those yukatas (*-*) I love this kind of event. Cities always get filled with a lot of people and it really feels like some sort of a festival.
  20. That look. Clover had witnessed some changes in Xydane's eyes before, but they'd never looked as murderous as they did now. It was the first time she saw him face an enemy, the first time she saw the young man transform into the warrior she knew he was. Clover was no longer scared, for some reason. It was as if she had blind trust in Xydane's ability to survive, as if he were the main character of a book who had far greater things to do than to die at the hands of a single enemy. Reality was a strange phenomenon. Obeying his command, Clover stepped behind one of the trees. Xydane wouldn't die; that much, she was oddly certain of. But heroes could still get injured. She looked at her surroundings then, and found a small branch near her feet. That'd do. Her power as a conjurer was limited, but she might still be of help. Not like it was necessary at that moment, apparently. As soon as she raised her body and her head after grabbing the branch from the ground, the grotesque image of fountain of blood was locked in her wide open eyes. The Ixali's dying cries hit her ears with sheer force, a crimson nightmare that took shape at that right moment. The sculptor of such a painful scene remained motionless after the beast fell, familiar and yet unrecognizable. Xydane. "......" He was no demon, no, even if he might look like one. Xydane had seen and done things she could never imagine, all to protect people like her. He wasn't a demon but a human sacrifice with blood stained hands. Even now, her hands were still clean… Albeit Clover's expression became serious and firm for the most part, it was also softened by a brush of melancholy. She stepped away from the tree. "Xydane..." There were many things she wanted to say, many things she could apologize for. Oh, but words could cost lives when time was so scarce, how to forget? And yet she still took a few seconds of simply looking at him, before she spoke again. "...Please help Andre, he stayed near the carriage so that I could escape,” she said, her tune filled with urgency.
  21. Would your character use the wishes to begin with? Clover, no. K'mih would be very confused as to what to wish for, and very scared to try. So no. -What would your character wish for? There's only one thing Clover wants: to see her grandpa again. Considering that the harm done must be equivalent to the wish, that means someone would have to die for her grandpa to come back to life *sweatdrops*. Which is why Clover wouldn't make a wish to begin with. She's not a murder and that's not the kind of person she wants her grandpa to see in her. K'mih wishes for her family to have happy lives, and she thinks it can be done without magical wishes. What's more, the fact that someone (likely K'nahli) has to be harmed kinda defeats the purpose of her wish to start with *amused*. Extra: My hyur Voyce would likely use the wishes and he'd likely harm himself. I don't know what he'd ask for, however, as I don't know him that well.
  22. Could K'mih participate? (>////<) And F'yue, my absolute favourite male miqo'te. Edit: As much as this post needs more hyur, Clover isn't participating because she doesn't suit the theme *laughs*. And my male hyur lacks the outfits.
  23. I need to visit the residential zones more often. They look so nice >_<; Just some Clover and Cinnamon screens. You just can't not love your little chocobo.
